Aveliot is a small nation located in the south Pacific. With a claim to over 300 islands, we are spread out a bit, however the majority of the islands are very close to one another, offering a good natural defense.
Given that, our primary military is our small but effecient navy. While the ships are mostly dated, we have not had the need in the past to possess a navy using all of the newest weaponary. We still use small boats made on our island as well that are man-powered, as well as old World War II ships.
The majority of our land forces are trained in guerrilla warfare and taught the lay of the land. They use a mix of old and new weapons, as well as homemade explosives. Their tactics are also very brutal.
However, they have been trained in open-ground warfare as well, but are not equipped to be able to fight a powerful and advanced military. They are, however, among the best trained in the south Pacific and are feared by the local civilizations.
Our crime is next to none between a mix of how our people are brought up, the social policies, and the punishment. John Wisher, the Peoples Protector, is the sole leader of the Peoples Republic of Aveliot.
Our people live a simple life in a simple country, enjoying life at its finest in the tropics.
Our main industries are fishing, weaving, and furnature making. However, on a couple of our large islands, farming is a strong industry. Travel is also a growing industry, as two large resorts were just completed.
Our currency is the Euro, and our national animal is the Great White Shark.
