Strategic Tunnel in Van Luxemburg captured by GLM (Semi-Closed)
Van Luxemburg
02-01-2006, 14:58
A group of vehicles, awaiting the entry of the Gotthard tunnel, one of the most strategic tunnels in the whole of Van Luxemburg, (which is set on an alternative continent, almost equal to Europe, Asia and Africa) Stood parked on one of the latest fuel stations before the entry. They had been parked there, because the drivers and it’s passengers were waiting to make their entry. Waiting times of one day were extreme, although common sometimes. The Van Luxemburgian police had a hard time to keep the traffic flowing, especially in this very busy season. The snow now had reached a mark of 2 metres above the normal ground on areas where clearing vehicles hadn’t been, and temperatures at day could barely reach the -5 degrees celsius.
The Gotthard was different however. It was heated with the exhaust fumes of the many vehicles, and the temperature was a comfortable 20 degrees celsius. The Gotthard was small, with only one lane for each side to pass the massive 17 km long tunnel, which showed a remarkable difference in cultures between the two sides. On the north side, people spoke German, and lived in the typical alpine-style houses, mostly however, differences were seen. On the other side, people lived the Italian way, speaking Italian and living in the colourful Italian houses.
This was however about to change. On the Gotthardpass, the other connection, which was not took so frequently as the tunnel, some 70 men had opened the ventilator spaces, and dropped through, landing inside the tunnel. The men then grabbed their weapons, mostly the famous Kalashnikov, or any other weapon they had been able to get. The men then began pulling people out of their cars, and lined them up. Shouting their orders in English.
“Men against the cars! Women and children against the walls! NOW!”
Slowly, the crowd began to move, still stunned by their capture, and lined up at the ordered locations. When some bravehearts refused, they were violently smashed against the walls by the buttstocks of the rifles.
Other terorists, wearing camouflagesuits, with the letters “GLM” wore on their arms, began blocking off service entrances and the two main entrances of the tunnel, by closing their doors. The heavy doors, commonly used to close off the tunnel during service, fell into their locks with a heavy bang.
At a distance, a few stunned policemen, which were controlling traffic, watched how the doors closed by the men. On the German side, Policiers Hermann Riedel and Bastian Glösch didn’t watch how the doors closed, but jumped in their patrol vehicle, an ’05 Audi A6 with 2.7 TDI engine. While Hermann pulled his SIG-Sauer P250 pistol, Bastian called up reinforcements at the Autobahnpolizei Gotthard HQ in Göschenen and Airolo, because of a possible taking of hostages. Hermann meanwhile jumped out, and fired two shots at the men standing behind the doors, which was answered by a barrage of bullets coming from an PKM MG, carried by one of the men. The whole Audi was covered in bullet holes, when Hermann Riedel, married and father of two kids, fell down, when one bullet had hit it’s chest.
The news, an hour later
The newsreader was seen after the intro, which showed that this was an emergency broadcast.
“Ladies and gentlemen, good afternoon. We have important news for you. Currently, the Van Luxemburgian government has forbidden anyone to enter the A2 Autobahn around the Gotthardtunnel. This because of a hostage taking there. At around 10 o’clock this morning, the Van Luxemburgian Police has blocked all entry roads to the Gotthard tunnel and pass. The Van Luxemburgian government and police has a press conference at the Schweizerhof hotel in Zürich rightn now. If I’m correct, we have a live news connection with Zürich.”
After a short flickering, the TV began to show imgaes of the new cabinet, including the Grand Duke, aswell as several Policiers, seated behind a large table. A Policier with the insignias of the Autobahnpolizei spoke first.
“Today, around one hour ago, the Gotthard tunnel was captured by a group of terrorists, which were recognised as members of the GLM. As of now, contact with the Gotthard has been lost, aswell as the control over the main instruments of the Gotthard tunnel and the security cameras. We have no idea how many GLM’ers have hidden themselves within the Gotthard, but we’re sure that at least one has been killed.”
One of the journalists in the room stood up.
“How do you know that?”
“I was not yet finished. He was shot by Policier Hermann Riedel, which has been patrolling the area after he had been controlling the traffic to go inside of the Gotthard. He was shot after he had fired his weapon twice. His colleague, Bastian Glösch has been evacuated to a hospital in Luzern. He’s been heavily wounded, but his status is non-critical at the moment.”
Another Journalist stood up.
“What actions will the Van Luxemburgian government and police take?”
The Grand Duke answered this question.
“We have classified any actions to be took as of 10 o’clock this morning. You will be kept updated.”
The Journalist wanted to ask another question, but the Grand Duke prevented him from speaking by already answering this question.
“The reason? The GLM has been fighting for an independent Guyana Island for years. No demands have been set or met. This is also the end of this conference. Have a good day, all.”

Seeing that you will participate in MILEX ’06, we will ask you to come to our aid once again. The GLM has struck the Gotthard tunnel, in which we think as a revenge to the actions took on the VLS “Koen”, half a year back. We therefore want to ask you to send a few units, as we need multiple nationalities to battle this bunch of multinational scum. We want to completely coordinate our battle plans, so we can get in well-prepared.

Airport of Buochs
Buochs was a small village in the alps, close to the Gotthard. Close to it, was small airfield, which had a small contingent of Airforce fighters stationed. It had never been put into action, but it was now. The three pilots ran outside under the continious sound of the alarm. They immediately loaded up their Mirage 2000-5 fighters, and started the engines. After several minutes, the three craft took off in line, preparing for a combat patrol over the Gotthard tunnel.
The Gotthard Tunnel
Dmitri Yakovla looked around. His 70 men were the last remaints of the Continetal GLM. Others had been arrested or sent back to Guyana island. The GLM there was even almost non-existant now, after large arrests during the aftermath of the Hijack of the VLS “Koen” he was the last leader of the GLM, now Legrand had been took out. This was Dmitri’s last attempt to get his demands fulfilled, before he would be either shot or arrested, he knew. He now was seated in a large Mercedes-Benz S-class of the latest model, his base for now. He had been watching TV on the monitor in the back. While the image was very bad, he still could make out the sound and the looks of the men at the press conference in Zürich. He watched it with satisfaction, although he was a little bit doubting about how the Van Luxemburgian would invade the tunnel. As his 2nd came over, he began to give orders.
“Block all doors with our men, wire C4 all over. I want to get this blown up if we fail. Got that?”
“Yes sir, immediately.”

Over Andermatt, above the Gotthardtunnel
The three Mirage fighters had reached their position, and had started combat patrol, by spreading out over the two entrances.
"Wächter Führer to Wächter Zwei. Any updates on Airolo?"
Wächter Zwei (Guardian Two), A man well in his thirties, with brown hair replied.
"Wächter Zwei zum Wächter Führer. Negativ. Nichts zu sehen, Schlüss."
(Guardian Two to Guardian Leader. Negative. Nothing to see. Out.)
"Roger. Wächter Drei, Etwas neues am Göschenen?"
(Guardian Three, something new in Göschenen?"
Wächter Drei (Guardian Three) took some time to reply.
"Positiv. Polizei hat den Zugang erreicht. Sieht aus wie ein ziemlich große Operation. Schlüss"
(Positive. Police has reached the entrance. looks like a quite big operation. Out.)
"Gut. Klappe halten, Idiot. Sammeln oben Andermatt. Schlüss"
(Good. Shut up, idiot. Regroup over Andermatt. out.)
Göschenen side of the tunnel
With warning lights and sirens on, a large line of police arrived at the entrance. They were also escorted by a group of ambulances, aswell as two helicopters. While the fighters roared above, the Policiers got out and put on reflective vests, and began to direct the traffic off the A2 and into the town of Göschenen. Then, the Policiers blockes the roads with an army of traffic signs, and guards to ensure the traffic flow. Also, several TCT units took up positions with their rifles, all aimed at the entrance.

In the Gotthard
Dmitri Yakovlev rose out of the Mercedes, and shouted for it's second, who came running towards him after a few minutes. He carried a digital videocamera. He quickly put it onto one of the cars, so it would keep steady during the recording, and gave the Go-sign. Dmitri began to speak.
"We are the GLM. We have captured one of your most important tunnels, and we will blow it if you don't make our demands reality. We want that Guyana Island free of your reign. Kreuzbadinsel must be left in our hands. All military presence on Guyana Island and on Kreuzbadinsel will become our property. Also, we demand that you retreat out of those chaotic lands called The Vuhifellian States. They will murder themselves, you won't have to do that. Also, we demand that you will break all relations with the Capitalist Schweinhunden in Wingarde, Listeneisse and Triancia. When our demands are fulfilled, we demand a safe road back to Guyana Island, preferably by plane or boat."
He paused, and a few men covered in black clothes held a burning Wingardian, Van Luxemburgian, Triancian and Listeneisse flag, aswell as a flag of The Vuhifellian States, covered in blood.
"Also, for Wingarde: Leave your colonies on Kreuzbadinsel immediately. We will take all necessary actions to let you do so. If we succeed, and you won't fulfill our demands, a reign of fire will come down on your nation. Also, we demand Triancia and Listeneisse to get their forces away from Van Luxemburgian lands. We will not tolerate any foreign presence that might ruin our Free Guyana People's Republic. Our warnings for Wingarde are the same for you. Also, Van Luxemburg: I would advise to guard your MIRV's better. That was all. If our demands are not fulfilled, a reign of fire will rain down every week on every nation that we warned. Every week, we will also kill 10 persons in this tunnel if you do not fulfill those demands. Check?"
The camera went offline, and the men quickly got a laptop, and uploaded it to the net. It was now in the hands of the Van Luxemburgian Television station RTVL. (Radio et Television de Van Luxemburg)
That night
"This is the eight o'clock news, with Philip Freriks.", a heavy voice announced, when the main stories of that night passed in the short intro.
Shortly thereafter, the face of a somewhat older man came into sight.
"Goodevening. A videotape of the terrorists holding the Gotthard tunnel hostage has shocked the world. They have threatened to blow up the tunnel, aswell as several Van Luxemburgian Allies, especially Wingarde. this is exclusive RTVL material."
The tape was shown, on which Yakovla made it's demands clear. By then, it also had reached the Van Luxemburgian Government, VLIA, and all other concerned governments and their respective intelligence agencies.
The Grand-Ducal Palace, Luxembourg
A group of men was seated in a large room, completely covered in LCD monitors and beamer images. The Grand Duke was at the head of the table.
"Witteman. You have control over our missiles. What's the current status?"
Witteman looked afraid, and began to answer.
"Ehm, well sir, you know, ehm..."
"WITTEMAN! ANSWERS! NOW!" The Grand Duke shouted, furiously.
"Well, sir, we're afraid that we're missing one complete Peacekeeper ICBM, aswell as several smaller missiles, capable of launching one MIRV each."
"Oh...my...God...", The Grand Duke murmled.

Chateau Vianden, VLIA HQ
One of the large antennas raised into the air. It was reaching out for contact with satellite A3B, to check for updates.
*Connection Established*
*New Updates: YES*
At that moment, the operator quickly began to work on his PC, to see what was new. The A3B Spy satellite was one of the newest the VLIA had, and was directly linked to the Kepler GPS system, which was a counterpart to the US GPS system and the European Galileo system. The A3B had important information. The operator got a phone, and rang up the head of the VLIA, Brad McKensey.
"Sir, you'll have to take a look at this. It's very important."
A voice began to speak on the other side.
"I'm there in a minute."
After several minutes, McKensey stormed into the control room.
"What is it, Castillo?"
The operator slowly raised from his chair, and let the monitor switch to a beamer, so the image shown was projected on the wall. He walked towards it.
"As you can see, this is Van Luxemburgian Guyana Island. Now, on Guyana, we have no Nuclear Missile Bases. But, clearly shown here, in the woods, is a radiation level to say "sir" to. A closeup followed, which showed a big dismantled missile, with several bunkers around it, aswell as several holes in the ground, which seemed to be able to launch a smaller missile.
"As you can see, this is the missing missile, if you look at the ID of the rocket, KAZ-63, this means it's the 63rd missile of Van Luxemburg, one of the last ones produced, which was stationed somewhere in Kazachstan, before it was stolen. We've also tracked a small aircraft, about the size of a Fokker 100, flying from Kazachstan to Guyana Island, whereafter something covered in plastic was loaded on a truck, which drove off. I think that we've enough materials to raid that location, isn't it?"
McKensey had been watching the screen for the time that Castillo had been talking, and now spoke himself.
"You're damned right. I'll prepare Korps II and III of the SSR to raid it when the TCT attacks the Gotthard. Wingardia units should be able to aid both actions. That was all. Äddi!"
"Äddi, Monsieur. Bis Geschwënn! Auslänner...Wingarde...Verréider..."

Gotthard Tunnel
As the camera stabilized, three hostages could be clearly seen, pushed against the concrete wall of the tunnel. Then, the image changed, to Dmitri Yakovla and a man armed with a PK Machinegun. Yakovla began to speak.
"This, mr. Van Luxemburg, are the first casualties under your regime, as long as we're here, a lot more will fall! We've 687 hostages left to kill off, so let us know if you will fulfill our demands or not. For now..."
Yakovla signalled the man next to him. He armed the PK, and fired a whole ammunition box, 100 rounds, at the 3 hostages. They fell down, covered in blood, while a few missed bullets slammed into the concrete.
"That was all, Van Luxemburg. You'll never get us out of here. Got that? NEVER!"
The camera went black, and the tape was cut and uploaded to the internet.
Grand Ducal Palace
The Grand Duke and his cabinet watched as the three hostages collapsed.
Koen then got up, and began to speak.
"We won't tolerate this! WE WON'T! I'll get in there in person to arrest him. I need a FN FiveseveN and an FN P90. also get every protective armour out of my armory and prepare my Sikorsky! Now!" if eyes could kill, every single person in that room would've been dead by now.
"But Sir, are you sure?" One of the advisors asked, while bracing for impact.
"COMPLETELY! I will get the damned Yakovla. Either Dead or Alive!"

Outside the entrance of the Italian side of the Gotthard Tunnel...
Task Force Fenrir had arrived at Genova a couple of days ago, after the long voyage from Wingarde, on the other side of the world. The Federal Army elements disembarked shortly after, and were heading to the site of the wargames until news from the Gotthard tunnel arrived. After arriving at the Airolo Army Base, one platoon with vehicle support was detached from its main unit and sent to intervene in the Gotthard incident.
A column of five vehicles (three MZP-8 Stalwarts in transport configuration between two RAP-2 Kammonets) made its way towards the Italian entrance of the tunnel. The three Stalwarts parked on one side of the road, their back hatches opened and Wingardian soldiers started pouring out of them, forming up parallel to the street. One of the Kammonets stopped a couple of meters away from the soldiers in line formation while the other guarded the entrance of the Gotthard tunnel. Oberleutnant Johann Faerber stepped down from the first RAP-2 and approached his 40-men platoon.
He stepped in front of his subordinates and addressed them with perceivable intensity. "MEN! These GLM scumbags have insulted Wingarde, and even claimed ownership over Kreuzbadinsel, our newest, rightful territory, with no reason nor backing whatsoever. They don't even have a homeland and yet they start picking colonies from other nations! We're here to teach these maggots NOBODY messes with the Democratic States of Wingarde!"
"SIR, YES SIR!"
His men saluted and vigorously responded in unison, feeling fire start within their bodies. Oberleutnant Faerber was a very charismatic fellow, capable of moving crowds without too much hassle. He had studied the GLM ever since the VLS Koen incident months ago. Johann had secretly admired the devotion of the people in the Liberation Movement, until he saw them remorselessly burn the flag of his beloved Wingarde. Any kind of sympathy he felt towards the GLM instantly and completely vanished at that moment. Now they were nothing but scum, scum that had to be erradicated for good.

Airolo
From a parked black Opel, a man appeared. he was clothed in a protective vest, with urban camouflage under it. He also wore the insignias of the Van Luxemburgian Police of the Airolo department.
"Good..." the man looked at his watch. "Afternoon it is. I'm Sep Greismann, TCT member at the Airolo Police Department. I have a request filed from my commander, Bastian Hauser, to take you with me over the Gotthard Pass, so you can see possible entrances, and so my commander can discuss the plan on the other side. After that, you'll be able to return to your men."
The man turned around, and pointed his head at the black Opel Vectra, apparently his. He then walked towards it, and got in.
Göschenen
The Sikorsky S-76 helicopter touched down with a soft crackling of the landing gear. When the engine was shut down, a door opened, and the aides began to run. Out of the door came the Grand Duke, clothed in a completely protective suit, used mainly by TCT and SSR Forces. He was in a phrone position, to protect himself from the raging wind, that was active around the helicopter. He then ran towards one of the cars parked, and asked for the commander of the TCT.
After several minutes, the Grand Duke's request was answered. A long man, still in his late twenties and clothed in the same suit as the Grand Duke, attended Koen on his arrival by a short cough.
"Bastian Hauser. commander of the TCT in this environment. Why're you here, sir?"
"Well, Bastian, mainly because I'm gonna help you. I will penetrate together with your men. It's mainly waiting on the Wingardian commander now."
Wingarde
05-01-2006, 18:11
"Very well then." Faerber nodded back at the man and entered the black Opel Vectra, his mind immersed in thoughts about the operation at hand.
The Vectra drove off and through the Gotthard Pass for a few minutes. Johann had examined the plan of the tunnel and the presumed position of the terrorists, but now it was just a matter of coordinating his men with the Van Luxemburgian forces. He somewhat underestimated the TCT, being just policemen while he and his soldiers were professionals from the Federal Army. Nevertheless, he was confident on his platoon. They would do their job.
The black car finally arrived at Göschenen, on the other side of the tunnel. The oberleutnant got out of the vehicle once it came to a stop. He wasn't aware of the presence of the Grand Duke, so he approached Hauser at a quick pace and saluted him.
"Oberleutnant Johann Faerber, 372nd Rifle Platoon." Johann saluted the Van Luxemburgian commander, still unaware that the other man was the Grand Duke himself.

The Grand Duke then shook hands with Faerber, and introduced himself.
"I'm Koen van Luxemburg. Ehm, do I need to introduce myself any further? Time to get to our planning table."
The group walked over to a table, on which a laptop and several maps and blueprints were housed.
"I suggest that we'll take the safe route and pour sleeping gas into the ventilation system, as proposed, over the suspected and tested location of the hostages. then, our and your men will storm in and take the GLM'ers not asleep. That's all. This is what we already talked over, isn't it? Any comments?"

Guyana Island
A group of eight helicopters, Six NH-90's and two Tigers, banked and turned over the city again. They were loaded with the SSR Korps I, which would be joined by the SSR Korps II fairly soon. They would arrive by aircraft somewhat later, and would be airborne in a few minutes.
Some time later, the group was joined by another ten helicopters, of which 8 were NH-90's again, and the other 2 were Tigers. They quickly made their way southbound, where a large rainforest was located. They then lowered their altitude, and dropped off their cargo, which had been in the cargo hold for some time. A group of Yamaha bikes drove out of the cargo hold at some 10 metres above the ground, and drove further southwards.
In that group of some 50 bikes, the 100 men of both Korps I and II of the SSR were located. They now drove on their own, towards the last known position of the MIRV's....

Cayenne, Guyana Island
As several Maserati's of the Van Luxemburgian Police blocked the street, several black Renault Scénics and Espace's stood parked restless in the small street, marked by several buildings hanging over the cobblestone road. All of the Renaults had a single improvised warning light on their roof, and was surrounded with members of the TCT, aswell as the ME. They had blocked off the suspected headquarters of the GLM, which had been located a few days before.
With a short whistle, the troops charged the building. The TCT, carrying a long steel beam, used as stormram, bashed the door, and other men stormed inside, throwing a flahsbang in advance of their position. As some men, blinded and deafened by the flashbang, came out of a room, they were quickly took, cuffed, blindfolded and put into one of the armoured civilian vehicles that had been readied just outside of the street. The building was quickly took, without any resistance of the GLM members.
Gotthard
An improvised communications centre had been established just off the road, in the snow. Accompanied by several tents of the Van Luxemburgian Red Cross, it's loose ends were silently waving in the wind. Seeing that the situation was fairly stable now, And that the temperature inside the tunnel was rapidly going down from plus 17 degrees Celsius to Minus 3 degrees, talks had been established. From the Communications HQ, IVD members (The former VLIA) listened to microphone bugs located at both entries, and regularly overlooked the tunnel by camera, which's control had been stolen 9well, more like hacked) from the Gotthard controls HQ, somewhere in the tunnel.
With it's earphones in, Lindstrom listened to what happened inside the Gotthard. It looked fairly stable, and the GLM had established outposts everywhere. After completely ensuring that the situation was safe, he stood up and walked over to the Grand Duke, aswell as McKensey.
"I suggest we start Operation Neerlandaise. Get the IVD specialists here."
"We'll do", The Grand Duke said, while the phoneline already was in transition to the IVD HQ, at Chateau Vianden.
Chateau Vianden, IVD HQ
As soon as the Grand Duke's call was received, the specialists got to work. They had located a phone inside the tunnel, and contacted it. After some waiting, they got someone on the line.
"Yakovla?" A voice with heavy bass tone said.
"You've got the Van Luxemburgian Government on the other side. We want to say to you that we can give you a safe way back to Guyana Island, if you leave the hostages alone."
"No such an idea will ever be accepted by my men. If you don't fulfill my demands, no deal, OK?"
The line was abruptly broken, and the IVD specialist was looking at his horn, whereafter he began to establish a connection with the Communications HQ at the Gotthard.
"Failed. What now?" He asked.
"Try to keep them busy while we take the most important members of the GLM, and also screen all incoming and outcoming messages at the Gotthard."
Zürich
From a distance, the Telescope expert waited till Legrand got in his car. Both the IVD and it's own organization, Telescope, had been screening Legrand for ages. As soon as Legrand started his car, which was parked in an almost empty garage, which had been extensively cleared of other civilians, The car blew with an extensive force, so big that the roof of the Garage came down several hundred meters away from the explosion, and destroyed a complete showroom of expensive cars. After the smoke had been cleared, a wreckage was located inside the Garage, which had been completely destroyed for the rest. As soon as sirens filled the city, the Telescope member had already disguised himself as a normal inhabitant of Zürich and walked away.
Cayenne
"Create a shield, prepare the smoke grenades and get a damned water cannon here! Teargas? Okay with me, anything you cvan get here!"
A group of ME blocked off the main road which lead to the municipality office, while they were attacked by hundreds of aggresive demonstrants, probably supporters of the GLM. The ME had took positions behind several of their armoured vehicles, which were spraying water all over the demonstrating people. The people, having heard of the Gotthard situation, had took to the street sin an attempt to liberate Guyana from Van Luxemburgian rule once again. They held flags of Guyana Island, also used by the GLM. People shouted the name of the republic they wanted, the Social-Democratic Republic of Guyana. They had been very violent in the past days, and the ME, aswell as the TCT had their hands full on them.
Just as the ME line was about to be breached and the crowd reached the municipality office, several armoured vehicles, Old DAF YP-408's, emerged from the back yard of the Municipality office, spraying teargas all over the rioting people. Above, helicopters roared over in an attempt to drive the people away with their loads of water, and Jetfighters dropped training munitions to try to scare the people. The situation however was hopeless. Van Luxemburgian units would not be able to hold the area any longer, until the army would assist. They however had their hands full on the Guyana Jungle, which had been extensively reconned in the last days, to intercept lone GLM members, aswell as ready themselves to assist the SSR in a possible failure of their operation.

Cayenne
It kept unstable in the city of Cayenne. The ME was battling violent supporters, and the Van Luxemburgian Police and TCT had been arresting GLM'ers all day. However, the longer the situation was unstable, the lower the resources of the Police ran. They had lost several armoured vehicles in the process, luckily without their crews, and were running low on supplies for water, ammunition and teargas.
"Liberté! Liberté!"
A large group of protestants grouped in front of the municipality office once again. It now wasn't protected by ME, but the Van Luxemburgian Army had placed several sharpshooters behind the windows. They had been armed with a HK GMG (Grenade Machinegun) Each, to open fire on the crowd if needed. They had been loaded with non-lethal explosives, but the men also had a small stash of lethal grenades.
The crowd began to storm forward, and destroyed the small fence which surrounded the office. As soon as the crowd was about to reach the entry, the men opened fire. A line of munitions rained down on the crowds, and exploded. The paint now began to cover the biggest part of the crowds, but some men already entered the building. they were however quickly stopped and arrested by a group of TCT, which had hidden themselves behind a service desk.
However, from a distance, a single T-55 tank, escorted by two BTR-152 vehicles came rolling towards the office. The sharpshooters, shocked by the sight of an olive-green painted T-55 with Guyanan markings, quickly called for support, in the form of AT equipment and more men. they then loaded their GMG's again and opened fire. A complete rain of paint came down on the three vehicles, which seemed to be moving on without any fear. The T-55 stopped, and stabilized it's gun. As the marksmen were reloading again, the T-55 fired it's 100mm main gun. The complete front of the office began to crumble unde rit's own weight, and large pieces of stone came down from the top. After a few seconds, the complete front collapsed, leaving the marksmen on their own.
When the T-55 aimed for a shot again, it became evident that the Van Luxemburgians couldn't win. They would either be killed or took by the crowd. Some men reloaded their GMG's again with live munition, but found themselves unable to fire, as the barrels were blocked with dust and rubble of the building. However, in the distance, the mighty roar of jetfighters was emerging from the rainforest, where a base was located. After some minutes, two Mirage 2000 jets passed over, readying to fire their munitions. A group of two PGM bombs were loosened from their location under the wing, and began their journey down to their target. With astonishing accuracy, the bomb came down and enacted a gigantous explosion, which destroyed both the T-55 and the BTR-152's.
This was however not enough. The crowd had took up arms inbetween, probably given to them by the crew of the BTR's. They opened fire at the men inside the building, however not too accurate. They merely hit or the walls, or the crowd themselves. The marksmen fired a few shots back, most of them direct hits. However, a few kilometers behind the building, the intense sound of rotors quickly arrived at their destination. Above the building, two NH-90 transport helicopters lowered their rope ladders and got the marksmen and TCT units aboard. They thereafter activated their weapon systems and megaphone.
"This is the Van Luxemburgian Army! Lower your weapons or we will have to open fire! I repeat, Lower your weapons!"
As an answer to that, the crowd opened fire at the NH-90's, which were quickly turned into Swiss cheese, while vital systems weren't hit. The pilots however had gone mad about his baby being destroyed by a bunch of morons, and opened fire with the unguided missiles located on the outside of the heli. They exploded in the middle of the crowd, killing large parts of the crowd.
Then, the NH-90 quickly returned to it's base, a helicopter carrier just off the coast of Kreuzbadinsel. Meanwhile, large chunks of the Van Luxemburgian Government were retreating from Guyana, and had loaded up on Van Luxemburgian Navy ships. there was however one force still left on the island, deep in the forests. The SSR.
Van Luxemburg

The Agusta-Bell A109 helicopter lifted from the heliport at the Municipality office in Cayenne. The helicopter had been called up to carry the last Van Luxemburgian officials off Guyana, before the Van Luxemburgians would do another attempt to attack the island. Demonstrants had been raging in the city for days, and now almost ruled the streets. All van Luxemburgian officials had retreated onto Kreuzbadinsel or any of the Marine Grand-Ducale ships laying in the Cayenne Strait, between Guyana Island and Kreuzbadinsel.
As the Agusta landed on the flight deck of the VLS "San Gimignano", A
Le Havre-class guided-missile cruiser opened one of the VLS cells, and fired two SCALP Naval cruise missiles. The missiles, which quickly entered the designated route to their targets, were armed with their 450 kg BROACH load, which would be able to devastate the complete designated buildings.
After a flight of about 10 minutes, the first cruise missile's engine shut down, and the Scalp began to descend. It now made a sub-sonic speed of about 400 km/h, and had only 10 m to go to it's target, the Municipality Office.
With a gigantous bang, the office collapsed, destroyed by 450 kg of high-explosives. Inside, several hundred men were killed, when the building rained down on them. Then, a huge second bang could be heard, from the airfield...
The second cruise missile had shut down it's engines a few seconds later. This version, loaded with explosives to be used against runways, ran down on the runway of Cayenne Airport, a small commuter airfield which used to house flights from Van Luxemburg. It used to be. Now, the Guyanans would have to build a new one.
