the Republic of SomethingWeird has declared war upon Nickotopolis this afternoon through a telegram. Nickotopolean Forces have moved into position into the skies above SomethingWeird. We ask this cowardly force if he wishes to retract his stupid useless declaration, as to that if he does so, then our forces will soon return home, without any sort of reprecussions. If this is some sort of joke, say so and the forces shall leave. I ask that you retract your declaration or much blood will be spilt.

We have 185 warships in orbit.

Nickotopolis's longtime ally, The people's republic of Poodamia has decided to join in this effort. A fleet of 100 warships have assembled along with the Nickotopolean fleet. Fifty plus additional warships are at the ready back on planet Nypenyoka.

A message was sent from a remote location deep in space. The voice speaking the message was monotone, heavily synthesized and analytical in sound. It was an audio-only communication, no picture was profided. It also bore no identification of the sender; well, none of that would have been known by anyone at that time. The target of the transmission were the Poodamia and Nickotopolis Vessels around SomethingWeird.
