an Imperial new year celebration in Kirisubo (FAO nations with embassies in Kirisubo)

ooc: any nation with an embassy in Kirisubo would have recieved an invitation from the Imperial Palace for an ambassador and two people to attend the Emperors new year party.
This won't need to be done in real time so I'm starting the ball rolling now.
As this will be 'getting to know you' RP expect the Kirisuban culture to open up a bit.
IC:
29th December 2005. The Imperial Palace
all the invitations had went out by courier to the foreign Embassies on Kirisuban soil as his Imperial Majesty wanted to meet them all and to find out out the nations the Empire has established links with.
There was already 100 other guests going to be there mainly members of the government and the major samurai families as well as the Imperial family themselves.
all he could do now was wait while the preparations were completed.

We gladly accept your invite. I, the ambassador Ken Yalmoguncini, will be accompanied by my lovely wife Maeann Kalimachek, and her brilliant 19 year-old cousin Jason Milkamoswitz, who also wants to be an ambassador some day.
We also need to know how formal the party is, and need to arrange Jason's travel, as he is coming from Toro in Northern Sushi, and doesn’t even know I am an ambassador in a foreign land yet.

This will be a formal event, the dresscode being whatever formal dress is in Northern Sushi.
Kirsuban's will be expected to wear Kimonos.
There will be traditional entertainment lined up (some sumo wrestling, a noh play and a geisha will play music) as well as a buffet and drinks.

OOC - Same here, but my Emperor is going to denounce his divinity soon and introduce the Constitutional Monarchy system. Then his twin son and daughter will get into a conflict with the song poisoning his sister and taking back control for his family and declaring his father a fool and executing him, re-claiming divinity.

ooc: now we're starting :)
IC: the 31st rolls round and the Emperor checks things personally, his secretary following him around. Already dressed in her formal kimono she kept him up to date as she worked on a palmtop pc with a stylus.
"everythings all set to go starting at 8pm. Others may arrive later and Ambassador Miromuta will be accepting your invitation as well. He's home for the holidays himself" she says.
Emperor Akahito nods in approval. He had been involved in the UN Ambassadors appointment although it wasn't widely known.
He's still got a few hours so he retires to his quarters and gets some sleep before the celebration begins.

the sun sets and the Imperial family gets ready. Maids help them into kimonos and little Princess Emiko gets special attention. As she toddles around evading the maid her mother Crown Princess Fujiko scoops up her infant daughter and holds her still while the maid dresses the youngest member of the family in her kimono.

The loudspeaker in the terminal was blasting a pre-recorded announcement, “Hello, welcome to Edo International Airport. We thank you for choosing Delta Winds.”
The short and chubby boy, who appeared to be only 15 years of age, had dirty blond hair and black framed glasses followed the signs down to passport control.
“Well here I go,” Jason said.

Roman Ambassador to Kirisubo was greatful when his Senior Embassy staff member gave him the invitation. The Ambassador got up from his chair and began to prepare himself. He pick a tuxedo with a tie that had the flag of Rome. The suit also had a whit rose pinned on the tuxedo's left collar. The Ambassdor called his wife in Rome to come with him. His wife accepted his offer but she would need permission from the Kirisubo Government. So after their short conversation, the Ambassador typed an e-mail to the Emperor of Kirisubo.

After recieving autorization from the Emperor. The Ambassador called his wife in Rome that she could arrive. The Ambassador had already bought the tickets for 1st Class onboard Roman Airlines, Flight 300. The wife overwhelmed with joy prepared her formal dress and other clothes on her stay inside the Roman embassy.
