Van Luxemburg
30-12-2005, 15:06
On one of the edges of the Grand Ducal Palace, a door was opened. The Grand Duke stepped into the large conference room, while he greeted the Fraction leaders. He then sat down in his large leather chair and began to speak.
"Ladies and Gentlemen. We're here because of the finished Governmental Elections 2006. I welcome you all to my palace, where I will announce the final results of the talks between the winning parties; the LDG and the DCP. Firstly, I want to say that we have had a lot of problems with those talks, as the two couldn't agree. We now finally have a result. The LDG and the DCP have absolutely refused to go into the cabinet with the LCP, and the CP wasn't a candidate because they didn't fit the plans of both parties, and so did the SDP. After some hour sof conversating, we announce that the RGP has joined the LDG and the DCP in the coalition. This coalition will be led by the LDG, because it had the most votes overall, combined international and national. They will make their candidate Nicolas Hirtz premier. A line up of the other positions:
Vice Premier: Romain Gramt (DCP)
Minister of the Internal: Emile Gehn (RGP)
Minister of General Cases: Marie van Volkel (DCP)
Minister of Foreign Cases: Jens Blom (DCP)
Minister of Defence: Philippe Dermont (LDG)
Minister of Economical Cases: Martin Hartleson (LDG)
Minister of Finances: Bas de Grijper (DCP)
Minister of Justice: Sebastian Guther (RGP)
Minister of Social Cases: Willem van Hooger (DCP)
Minister of Education: Adrián Castillo (LDG)
Minister of Traffic: Alessandro Debiasi (LDG)
Minister of Health and Sports: Emily Glister (DCP)
Minister of Housing, Regional Developments and the Environment: Lukas Schmidtmann (RGP)"
The Grand Duke sat down again and looked around the room, in which people were taking notes, and some peoples were laughing or crying, because they got, or didn't get the position they wanted.
"That was all. I expect you all to be in the main courtyard in half an hour."
Half an hour later
"I hereby plead my loyalty to God the Almighty, Or any other name he might have had or will have in history, aswell as to the Grand Duke of Van Luxemburg, the leader of the great van Luxemburg. I also will never leave my position without the permission of him, aswell as the people of Van Luxemburg, before my abdication or the new elections. I will aid the Van Luxemburgian people to their cause, and not to profit of this myself.
Ubi Bene, Ibi Patria!"
this piece of text was read by all of the government members, standing in a row, next to the Grand Duke, and surrounded by a honouring guard of the Garde Grand-Ducale. They were also surrounded by photographers and camera's of different TV stations. After some hours, presenting the new government members to the public, the Grand Duke and it's cabinet got inside, to try to find solutions for the Van Luxemburgian-Vuhifell Crisis.
