Jason decides to make several calls:
The first call is to the message machine at Joint Honours & Customising your Degree:
"Hi, I am interested in being part of this program. My name is Jason Milkamoswitz. Could you call me back at my home. The number is in my enrollment file. Thanks, bye."
The next call is to Student Activities:
"Hey, my name is Jason Milkamoswitz and i'm interested in finding out if their is a school newspaper I could sign up for, and what some other activities are. My number is [313] (62) 346-0835 and could you please call back. Thank you."
To: Professor Johnas Goudal
I would like to confirm that you do in-deed have the courses I requested correctly listed. Incidentelly I wish to ask if the UNI follows the five or six day scholastic week. Also I wish to ask for any pertient information that would make life easier at UNI.
From: Jarc Revien
ooc: Just so you know, it's normal(in Theao at least) to graduate high school by age 16, based on how the school system is set up.
"Ok then if that's everything then, I'll see you all later," Jacob would rise from the desk along with all of the other staff at the Joint Honours Department all politley bodding their heads at each other before exiting the meeting room, leaving a fair mess of papers and agendas floating around,
Standing by the recently fixed Tea machine Jacob fills his cup with a special mix of Divango brew Tea before clasping a folder from his in-tray and entering his office, making sure to twist the sign from unoccupied, call back later to, occupied knock and wait for an answer, closing the door and moving round the desk of his office first setting down the folder and then himself into the chair and taking a small sip of the boiling fluid, letting the flavours run over his toungue savouring the moment before getting to buisness.
The first item at the top of his Folder was to return a call to a Northern Sushian called Jason Milkamoswitz, too bad about the time differential it was midnight here when it was noon their, do figure, he'd have to leave a message and send a note down to Gilda the Secretery to try and contact whatever analogue that Northern Sushi had to a Student Services and get them to send the kid a copy, either that or arrange to call him first thing the next morning, it should be about 7 at night for him oh well may as well leave the kid a message,
Running a finger down the thick paper of the document picking out the phone number he pulls his phone close to him tapping gently out the number, after a ringing and an answer machine, "Hey, this is Professor Zekrellis here, from the Uni Joint Honours and degree customisation program, can you call back and leave a message about which Courses you would like to do jointly and also what you want to get from your degree, can you call back before 7 pm tommorow, and I'll ring you then and we'll see what we can do for you, goodbye now"
Placing the Phone down and grasping for a pen to tick the first item off his to-do list for the day, before plucking out the document and placing it in the appropriate folder, glancing up at the clock and slamming his cup down he rushes out of the office grabbing another folder, "Damn, Forgot I'd had a class in 15"
Elsewhere on the Novesia Campus
"Ok what's Next, ah ok then let's see, ah yes Jason Milkamoswitz, information about Buzz Word and other Actities, Damn Time zone guess I'll just have to leave a message"
Picking up a phone the young man would pick up the phone and hammer out the number.
"Hey Jason, this Zack Halteff from NSU, you eqnuried about a newsletter right? Well we do have one it's called Buzz Word, I've passed onto the faculty member of staf that helps run it and he'll catch you during freshers week for an interview, I've sent you out a copy of this weeks issue so you can have a flick through, check out this weeks cartoon strip it's a blast.Oh ya that reminds me you wanted to know about Activites well yeha we do quite a lot of them,"
He Absent Mindedly begins ticking the activites off on his fingers while cradling the phone between ear and shoulder
"We do Rockclimbing, Abseiling, Camping loads of outdoor stuff, we also hold Gigs Compotitions we've just started a Karate club, there's also a Debate club and a Book Discussion group, theres quite a few activites outside UNI and NSU as well, but those'll depend on which Campus you end up on, the Novesia one has things like sports centers, several libraries, museums concert halls Cinemas Bars Nightclubs the works, if you can't find something to interest you I'll be amazed, well catch ya later and if you have anymore questions please don't hesitate to call me back." With a satisfying Click he places the phone down.
"Hey Matty my man whatcha been doin?" High Fiving one of his mates before getting lost in conversation..
OOC: No Probs, in Novacom University is Compulsory, though there's usually a 3 year delay before students enrol due to a 3 year period of Compulsory Military training and Service, however though about half of all Novan Students will go straight to Uni and then afterwards do their stint in the Military.

Dear Mrs. Revien,
I thank you for your questions and give you the following answers,
I wish to ask if the UNI follows the five or six day scholastic week?
Uni follows as standard a 5 day scholastic week, however certain events due to timetabling and scheduling may either take place out of usual teaching hours, or on a Saturday, it is Uni Policy to leave Sundays free for students and unless circumstances demand, saturdays also.
I wish to ask for any pertient information that would make life easier at UNI.
Several of our seniors have given out a fair bit of advice, most of which is contained in the prospectus however several things come up repeatedly,
Be sure to go the 'Freshers week, it allows you to make new friends and in general settle into Uni easily.
Be sure to do an asignment when you get it, otherwise you end up playing a game of catchup you never really seem to end
Always show up to lectures quite often the best graded projects refer to things that are only brought up in them
DOn't go out on all the night outs or if you do pace yourself it's not unusual to spend your food vouchers for the week on the first night
Listen to the seniors and take the pranks in good jest
There are more in the Prospectus however though these are the main ones, we look forward to seeing you at Uni.
Regards,
Professor Johnas Goudal
UNI Admissions Tutor,
To Professor Johnas Goudal
I have a few final questions before the term starts.
When does the term start?
What is the information regarding dorms, travel, transportation, and student activities?(Assume it's sent as you already posted it)
Also could you inform me when I will be contacted by the professors of Novacom history, general arts, languages, computer programing and chaos theory?
Sincerly, Jarc Revien
OOC for the purposes of this We'll be using fluid time, anybody BTW is welcome to Enroll regardless of ally or enemy status, be they from Kraven Xirnium or any other nation.
I'll also be collecting all of the Information I've created as well as information I'm still creating into the Prospectus, if anyone wants to Contribute with layout and the like I'd apperciate it.

Dear Mrs. Revien,
The Information that you have requested is enclosed within this package, Also the Professors from them have called and found you unavailable, more than likely due to the time zone differential, please be sure to call their departments to leave a message with your questions, if you cannot find the number, 02733 0889 270 299 458 in addition to being the number for admissions can also direct you to the correct department. ((OOC: Assume messages have been left, Professors Markal Delsan, Jeant Cletang, Kininias Kentir, Vinnie Konjul and Thomas Tevlan in the order you asked for))
Regards,
Professor Johnas Goudal
UNI Admissions Tutor,
Jarc proceeded to dial and to leave a message for each of the five professors. She asked what the course materials were, as well as required textbooks and similar stuff.
She also phoned the main office and asked when the 'fresher week was, the start of courses and when and where to apply for either dorms or appartments.
OOC: Yikes forgot to mention when term starts earlier lol, care to enlighten me as to which languages you wish to take? It's a fairly braod subject to take lol good thing we're using Fluid time, so once we have enough people we can jump straight ahead to freshers week.
"Ah Yes one moment, Miss Revien, we handle Accomodation yes, would you like an Apartment or a Dromitory?"
After receiving a response and entering it into a computer, Gilda would nod at a Delivery man signing for a package before stamping it once with a seal and handing a map to the man nodding gently,
"the 'Fresher's week commences Monday the 4th of September and the courses begin on the following week, Is there anything else I can do for you?"
The Professors had called back, each of them had happily reeled off a booklist to the eager young woman, as well as other Materials, All of them could be purchased at a local bookshop with the exception of Novacom History which would have to be specially ordered in, all of them clearly marked with the UNI Logo, Amongst them were, The Mysteries of the Diri E I G Ignen; Divine Folly or amazing fact?, Novacom History a brief overview, Digital Destiny; a programmers handbook, Artistic touch; the deity of detail, Chaos Theory; Organised Chaos or Chaotic Organisation? the List would go on. COurse Materials would include a basic artists set with the Uni Logo on available on special request from crafts shops, a Qauntus L28XD Laptop from Novacom Manufacturing, heavily discounted if the card that was in with the propspectus is presented on purchase bringing what is already a highly affordable yet advanced laptop computer down from 200 Novons to a mere 75 and a Currency Converter.
Jarc thanked the receptionist as she got the information she wanted and informed them that she wouldn't mind a dorm. She also made sure to copy down a list of books to purchase at the bookstore during the 'fresher week.
ooc: General languages
OOC: I'll assume that's Novan Chinese Russian and English then, (the main languages of Novacom, we had a lot of involvement with the Communist Block during the Cold War, and I do mean a lot. At least I'm assuming that's General, heh. If you know anyone else TG em into this, we'll need a fair few more, I've just sent a round of TG's to ppl I know.
"Thank you, we look forward to seeing you at Fresher's week, your travel tickets and other information is in the post, instructions are in with the tickety, however be sure not to loose your Student Card you'll need to present it to Immigration Control when you arrive, And we have a free Dormitory in the Torestoi Building, is that acceptable?"
Gilda's soft voice resonates over the phone her fingers dancing over the keyboard while occasionally glancing over the desk into the large foyer, the walls glinting in the sun and outside students lounging around on chairs poring over books or idly laying back discussin last night's gig with a friend and all sorts of other activites, life was good
"That sounds good." Jarc replied as she lay on her bed.

Professor Johnas Goudal
UNI Admissions Tutor,
Enclosed within is a glossy leaflet whose cover is Dominated by logo's of several justice departments from around the world, Emblazoned in the center is The Foundation of Order, Law Degree's and Doctorate's
DOLAO (Doctorate of Law and Order)
Students on the DOLOA course are expected to have first studied on a law course before, while exceptions have been made they are extremly rare on the order of roughly 1 per every 4 yerars if that, This course is highly advanced and officialy it is split into 2 different courses, this is due to the amount of Modules available, and the nessacery lineation of these, as such you will find course content follows a similar route but deviates from the other course depending on Modules.
DOLOAO/A or Doctorate of Law and Order/Application, has modules that mainly center around the Application of law, Modules include study of Historic Cases like, Voronzel Jindrax V Diri E I G Ignen Lord Priest Herlath, Novacom V Admiral Kukonois and Lord Priest Kelzen V Dolmuteth Krezeck. In addition to these cases modules applicable to Novacom and International law or also available for choosing as well as several modules about Law in other nations, with special guest speakers throughout the course from both the Novacom Judicial System and speakers from other nations this course is best aimed towards those who see themselves with a future in the courts enforcing the laws opposed to making them.
DOLOAO/I or Doctorate of Law and Order/Implication, has modules that mainly center round what the consequences of enacting laws are, why enact them why are they a good idea, how will they solve the siutuation or prevent it, why are they passed and other pertinent questions, this Course has Modules that Include but are not limited to, Voronzel Jindrax Cabal of War Law, The Destinus Accords, The Diri E I G Ignen Blood Pact Covenant as well as Law in Modern Novacom today, special Guest speakers include guests from the Current Council of Ministers where students may interview the speaker and pose questions to them as part of a written project. This Course is more suited to those who see themselves in having a future in politics due to the more theoretical nature of the course, however both courses are interchangeable and allow access to either career Track.
The Leaflet goes on for Several Pages offering a vast array of courses
Professor Zekrellis would sweep back into his office placing down his mug of tea causing some of the contens to slosh out onto the table, mutering slightly he wipes it up before snatching his folder, "ah yes Jacob from Northern Sushi, let's see, well it looks like what he wants is a Politics, Law, Social Science Composite," Pausing to pick up an extremly thick brochure and drop it onto the table with a satisfying thud,
"Alright let's see Psychology and elements of Sociology, we can try and timetable that it's possible, now what else ah yes Politics that can definetly be done all of their courses are in the afternoon while Social Sciences in the morning yes that's doable, it'll be a balancing act for him though which lectures he goes to, they share the same slot, well we can assign him an advisor,"
Pausing from his musings to scrawl on his todo list to pass Jason's Information onto Student Support,
"And Politics now there's the tricky one, ah Professor Tenjel's Classes they'll fit, just barely he'll have to be quick getting around mind, now let's see," he continues his musings while scrawling the required information into a blank form with boxes on, a Module layout.
"Now to get this down to the Careers Office, see if there's any input they have hmm, yes indeed" Absent mindedly hurrying out forgetting completly to shut the door with the form and a folder clasped underarm he hurries away out of his department to Careers.
"Yes indeed good luck Mitchell, and can you tell hand this to professor Zekrellis on your way back to your dormitory please," The Charming Laura of Careers would grin pleasently at the young man handing a selaed envelope to him, who would stammer out his thanks and affirmative's before rustling out of the bright department, eyeing it gently wondering what could be in it he wanders casually down the corridors walking into none other than the good professor himself, literally, a great shower of papers soar into the air liberated from their folders, with a great screech the Professor literally dives at the papers grapsing great armfuls,
"Mr Mitchell you'll never make anything of yourself if you don't look where you are going now move along I'm fine, what's this, ah I was comming down to collect it now move," THe Professor would fix Mitchell with an evil look which sent him scurrying away his large feet clomping on the hard polished floor while the professor cursed silently, while gathering up a vast amount of paper, he would have Gilda sort it out back at the office, Messily stuffing themm back into his folders and now clasping the large envelope he swiftly turns round and storms down the corridor back down to his department.
"Gilda sort these out please, I'll be in my office," Unceremoinioudly plonking down the folders on Gildas desk sending papers fluttrting everywhere, entering his office closing his door with a loud slam he collapses down into his chair calming himself for a moment, breaking the seal on the envelope he pulls out the stiff paper, taking it in at a glance.
"I'm glad we could do something for that Jason Kid, better leave a message and send out a copy," Reaching for the folder and plucking out the number before punching it into the phone and letting it ring, "Hi Jason this is professor Zekrellis I've been down to the career's Office and w'e've been able to sort you out a Composite Degree with elements from Law, Sociology, Politics and Psychology, Your fairly lucky this year as we've been able to get a high ammount of guest speakers in for the Law and Politics courses for you modules, remember if you have anymore enquires don't hesitate to ask,"

Professor Zekrellis is actually able to reach Jason. Jason replies,"I think those would be good courses. Also, who do I need to call about a dorm?"
OOC: in the post above the first reference to Jason, you called him Jacob.

BUMP for a response from Novacom.
OOC: Sorry was dealing with something RL.
IC: "No Problem, hang on a sec I'll transfer you through to Student Services they should be able to sort you out with accomodation, hold the line Jason,"
The Professoer would absent mindedly tap in the number for Student services having put Jason on hold, "Hello Student services? Yes this is professor Zekrellis speaking, I have a new student wanting to enquire about a Dorm, a Jason Milkomovitz, yes the north sushiaan, I'll transfer him through to you now," pushing a button on the phone and waiting for a click before hanging up he transfers the call.
The Phone would ring for a moment before clicking, "Uni Student Services, this is Heather Gilthrope speaking how may I help you Jason?"

OOC: Novacom, you could RP native students too, and the school would seem larger.
OOC: I already have a fair few Native Students ready, of course though I would prefer if possible to have at least 20 foreign students, though any nation may send as many students as they wish, the reason for at least 20 is to properly simulate a University experience of being diverse.

Dear Mr. Moreno,
We are pleased to inform you that your application to Uni has been accepted, a Student pack is enclosed with this letter and you will be shortly receiving a phone call from Student Services to arrange the details with you.
Regards,
Professor Johnas Goudal
UNI Admissions Tutor,
A Phone would ring a day or 2 later for Jeff, "Hello, this is U.N.I Student Services Tobias Kelternem speaking may I talk to Jeff Moreno please?"
Jeff was sitting in a restaurant with one of his friends, laughing about something fairly mundane and stupid, when his cell phone rang. "Hold on a second," he assured his friend, picking it up and looking at the call ID. It read:
Long Distance: University of Novacom Insitution
He swallowed, stood up, and turned to his friend. "It's from the University. Excuse me for a second."
Then he walked out the door of the restaurant onto a quiet street outside where it was slightly less loud and busy and put the phone to his ear. "Hello? Yes, speaking."
"Ah Hello Jeff, I'd like to congratulate you on getting into Uni, now I need to go over some details with you, namely Accomodation and confirming what course your on, I have you down as being on Journalism, Course Code UNI/M-J0452B, is that correct?" cradling the phone in his shoulder peering over the desk Tobias accepts a form handed to him by a student before reading through it, shaking his head pointing at a certain detail and sending the student away back to the desk at the other part of the room.
Once she'd finished on the phone with the U.N.I Staff, she decided to relax and generally enjoy herself before it was time to travel to the school

OOC: Novacom, saw your ad. Can we keep this going now that you placed a link?
After four years of intense studying, final exams, sleepless nights, and non-stop weekend parties, William Omura had finally finished his four years at the University of Northern Geronia, earning his BA in communications. But he yearned for something new and he knew that a job wouldn't give him what he wanted. So he sort of just moped around his parents's house for a week after graduation, wondering what to do.
"Why don't you get a master's?" offered his dad, himself an MBA holder from Fordstan. "It's how I got the way I am today."
"Ugh more school," sighed William. But eventually something clicked and he decided that maybe, graduate school was something he should look into.
He searched throughout all the schools in Geronia, but wasn't interested in the ones he knew he could get into, and as for UAC, forget that. His C+ average at UNG had been enough to get him his degree, but not good enough for the Communications graduate program at UAC.
Then the brochure from UNI crossed his desk.
Picking up the phone, he called in.
"Hi this is William Omura. I'm a current BA holder in Geronia, just out of the University of Northern Geronia, and I was just wondering about your graduate student programs..."
OOC: I would like to apologise immensely to all here, kind of get buried under other things and RL, but now to get things back on track.
"Hello UNI Student Services, Heather Gilthrop Speaking, ah yes Graduate STudent Programs, we offer a variety of options, we offer masters and other analgoues, Top up degrees, Short Courses and also we offer an intensive teaching course which would allow you to become a professor in your chosen subject."

Delta Green
22-01-2006, 00:55
It was generally not accepted for a citizen to travel outside of Delta Green under any circumstances. However, at times it was found necessary, and sometimes, it was for ulterior motives. Each citizen had his personal file. Isn't that the worst nightmare of every conspiracy theorist? Your always being watched, every move and decision you make is being recorded? Only fools truly believe such things. And fools, sadly for them, knew the truth.
Leaning back, the man pulled it open. An applicant for State University, and it far exceeded the expectations and requirement for admission. But there were a few issues. There was more to consider now. An international university, the University of Novacom Institution, had opened its doors and become immensely popular. It had only been a year since the Woomera Incident, which left Delta Green diplomatically behind.
The coordinator smiled, and he reviewed the memo he had been given earlier. Taking the file, he moved to send it in electronically, making sure each detail was placed in. Usually, such candidates with such high expectations were recruited into the Freemen, or other such organizations. This one, would be no different, but he was an, experiment.
And what better subject than your own nephew?

To whom it may concern,
Since the opening of your university, the nation of Delta Green, which is
normally (out of necessity) rather secretive and isolated from the outside
world, has found itself in a position to make a motion of not only good will,
but openness to partake in academic opportunity and exchange. To further the
interests of both nations, we have forwarded an application to our prestigious
State University towards your own. This is of an individual citizen
named Warren Vandenburg.
Name Warren K. Vandenburg
Address: Level Seven, Seventh Arcology, Veritas Habitation
Center, Hyperborea (Antarctica), Delta Green
Age: 18
Date of Birth: June 15,
Nationality: Hyperborean
Gender: Male
Caste: Upper
Ethnic Origin: Caucasian (Mixed Germanic)
Email Address: wvandenburg@arcology7.veritas.dg
Phone Number: (703) 377-7184

Psychological Profile
We request that this information be classified. A detailed report
of the psychology of Mr. Vandenburg can be released at a later
date in private, but this sensitive information has been deemed
unnecessary for the application by the Department.
Academic Information:
Cumulative GPA for his Upper School academic career
amounted up to 4.2 [A Average] (Honors and Advance
Placement Classes are given a .333 weight). Personal evaluation
by a State Committee gave the following analysis.
Math
Warren Vandenburg performed adequately in the fields of
theoretical and applied mathematics. He professed it was not
his speciality. Seems more interested in geometrical rather than
algebraic, especially non-Euclidean geometry.
Composition
Warren has a powerful, creative mind, but his seeming
inability to properly use grammar and structure his ideas
made this his worst overall subject.
Linguistics
In addition to learning English and German at home,
Warren Vandenburg performed well in and is fluent with
Hyperborean and Latin.
Natural Sciences
Warren Vandenburg has amazing potential and drive in the
sciences, however, he seems to be slightly apathetic towards
this field. If tapped, it could provide him a strong focus.
Social Sciences
Like before, Warren proved himself exceptional in this field.
Unlike the natural sciences, he seems extremely interested
in issues of sociology and psychology, and has a aptitude for
history and geography.
Arts and Humanities
Creative writing is a favorite form of expression for Warren,
but as with Composition, he has problems making structure
in his prose. This, however, does not hinder his poetry or
other forms of expression.
Course Information
Warren Vandenburg has expressed equal interest in your
Space Technology courses, Geometry courses, and Sociology
courses. He has not been fully decided on how he will handle
his diverse interests, or whether he will work towards multiple
or hybrid degrees.

My uncle has given me the information that I am going to be applying
to another university. I am glad that I am accepted, but after looking at
the prospectus, I am still slightly confused on how exactly to find the
code for the course that I was most interested in. I am seeking to gain
a Bachelor's in Science, and eventually a Master's with additional
specialization. The course I am wishing to take is Space and Climate
Physics, though if the UNI does not offer this course, then my
secondary course would be Psychology, in the Social Sciences
department.
