Vladimir Ivanov picked up the phone, the alliance he has worked so hard to bring up was falling apart. He had to atleast try to keep it stable. He called the Prime Minister Zhao.
"Hello this is Vladimir Ivanov. I would like to inquire as to your representative's recent comments at the non-aggression meeting between TOA and VCO. Do you share his views? Are you about to follow Elephantum and leave the alliance? If so may i inquire a reason for that action?"

Premier Zhao frowned at the abruptness of the Russian caller before shooing his aides away.
"Vladimir, Rongyi was merely venting the frustration that we are feeling at the moment. It often seems that we wake up to another new dispute with the October Alliance every day, as you can imagine that is not the sort of news that our people want to hear. I am all for remaining in the VCO, provided that we do not antagonise the October Alliance with every action we take. Once that non-aggression pact is signed, we shall have an opportunity to sit back and re-evaluate the situation; once we do that, we can move forward in a more productive manner."
"Thank you for sorting out matters for me. I hope we can get to the more pleasant part of the Congress soon."
