Current Men and Women in Service: 2,608,000
Current Draft Rate: 10%

1st Infantry Division - The very 1st infantry division, established in 1774. These men pride themselves in being the 1st in, into any conflict and the division has been in action in every single conflict known to Azimeth.

2nd Guards Division - The most highly and elite-trained division in all of Azimeth, if not Oceania. The 2nd Guards "Azethlei" are born from Feudal Knights, who originally lived on the island of Azimeth before the turn of the 12th century. They prided themselves in one thing - defense of their homeland. Fending off numerous and hundreds of invaders, the 2nd Guards were recognized by the blood on their armor and simply unstoppable waves of cavalry charge. They were outphased by muskets and afterwards they disbanded their horses and cavalry and took up arms to continually defend their homeland against invaders. Finally, in 1942 they fought not against invaders but themselves. The civil war of 1942 found the 2nd Guards leading the assault on Azim; and they threw out their corrupt leader with Emperor Jacob Komech I taking over and making the 2nd Guards the elite-trained backbone of the Azimethian military. It is fully understood that the 2nd Guards now pride themselves in total and complete infantry domination.

1st Armored Division - The main offensive of the Azimethian military. When a major offensive push is called upon, the 1st Armored leads it. Coordinating with air support, they are the most lethal armored division simply because of their history. When the 1st AD is on the front - an offensive is brewing.

6th Airborne Infantry Division - The only division in the Azimethian military that is all women. Commended for the excellent military record and brute force; other than that they are just an ordinary division - only made up of females.

Are you sure there isn't a price you'd be willing to take for some vehicles?

That depends what you offer me.

You may want to edit your numbers. You only have 5 million citizens.

OOC: You can't have a military that large. Even if you had 5% of your population on active military duty (which is agreeded upon to be only suitable in war times) you'd only have about 250,000 personnel avaible.

Current draft rate in Azimeth is 10%. 5,000,000/.1 = 500,000. My numbers are fine.

OOC: Yes, but a 10% military draft is a ridicolously large number. You should read the Euroslavia Helpful Hints, they're stickied.

...I've played this game many, many, many times before. I know the rules. Having a 10% military draft rate has been done before, not because I've done it but because I've seen other people do it. Azimeth's economy is booming as it is, and more money is given to soldiers in the military than is given in construction or road work. Most of the people in here are actually criminals that are having a shortened sentence for a year of military service as it is, anyway.

Besides, it's not like I'm going to abuse my nation's military, and am certainly not going to invade another's.

OOC: Uh-huh. I'd like to see some links to past nations.
A 10% draft rate is absolutly ridicolous, especially for a democracy.

I'm afraid I cannot find them, as I don't have every single post from every single nation I've ever played, if any at all. Relax and settle down, I'm not abusing anything but a couple numbers.

OOC: How about you put it at 5%? It seems more fair if you ever get into a war.

Should I go into war, I will not be deploying every single division at my disposale. Mabye 4 or 5, and if it gets serious, the navy and air force. I'd hate to change it now, because that means I'd have to edit it later - and since I have no intention of going to war and my population increases a million a day, I'll leave it until the numbers seem to be just and then make my move, if I make my move.

I'm sorry, but due to the high technology implemented into the PO-39 Mether MBT and the PO-29 Kenkt Medium Tank, we are refusing to sell these vehicles. However, the PO-30 Metzg, PO-10 Jaeg, PO-4 Utse-vay and AO-1 Laeth are still available for purchase.

Its his country, it doesn't matter what you guys think. His military is his, not yours. If he wishes to have the draft rate at 10% then thats his concern. If your not rp'ing with him or directly rp'ing with him, then your justing spamming his post.

All of you guys seem fairly new, I'm sure if you think about it, you all had similar posts that resulted with people saying the same things. Its stupid. Now be quiet.

Azimeth: Nice military, however one thing. I would suggest you key down the number of tanks you have in your armored division. The US military has at most around 500 vehicles in a division, sometimes more, sometimes less. But for your divisions to be effective they need to be small and capable of being logistically manuverable.

Other than that, very nice.

Due to the small landmass of Azimeth, divisions are more-over recognized as "army groups" in United States terms than actual "divisions". In Azimeth, most if not all military units are moved around by regiments, simply because the Azimethian land is too small.

Most Azimethian divisions are made up of 3 regiments, and although it appears that these divisions would be moved around solely by themselves, they are actually moved via regiment, not division, which is a smaller sub-unit of a division.
