Okay my nation has 9 million people.

Now i want my military to be half, 4.5 million

Most Ashen warriors do not use weapons. But some have mechanical implants on there backs to hold plasma guns to hit heavy targets, Tanks, Aircraft, things of that nature.

also the other half of my nation are drones, not ashen warriors. They stay on the Hive ships and help construct them.

Yes. You can only really afford one or two percent of your population in the military in times of peace, and certainly not half even during time of war.

yes i understand that but i mean i was thinking something like these things do not need logistics, and other things like that, the eat the enemy. they dont need medics because the Ashen devourer the extremely wounded.

OOC: I'd have a problem with half a country's population being devoted to military regardless of future technology, modern technology, post-modern technology, past technology, etc. The problem with that is if half your population is out fighting wars, your economy will collapse in very short order.

As far as the specific fighters are concerned, if you want to RP with someone who is MT and doesn't recognise any species other than humans, they won't accept ashen, particularly since their capabilities are far, far above human capabilities. If you want to RP with someone future tech, that might be different.

4.5 million is a bit much, 3 million would be the far edge of what I would accept, since you're obviously using something based off the Scourge, and that means little support is necessary, but you still have to have some way to support all those Ghouls and such.

Well i mean the Ashen are divided into four hive ships. They park the hive ship over the planet. Do you mean something like that.

Also when you fight the Ashen usually you'll only fight one hive ship. so 4.5 divided into 4 is 1.125 million and each hive ship has a specialties

The Hive ships ordered from weakest to strongest.

Famine- 75% unarmed Ashen, 25% equipped
Pestilence- 50% Equipped Ashen and 50% non Equipped.
War- 90% are equipped and 10 % un equipped.
Death- 100% equipped

but in times they need all four will "Combine" (not literally)

Apocalypse.- you fight all the Ashen except for the Drones and Queen.

but Ashen wont combine into Apocalypse normally, because the queens will want to rule Apocalypse themselves and then a civil war happens after the enemy is crushed.

This is a FT only nation.

obviously but i mean these things are mindless except for the 4 queens. they don't import or export. They go into an area and take what they need... mainly its food.

If you have a FT Tyranid-style nation that does nothing except destroy stuff and support its entirely biological army that destroys stuff then this isnt godmod, but you also arent really going to be able to do anything other than build a massive army of completely biological foot-soldiers. It doesnt matter much what race they are - nomadic human tribes have had what could be described as a military consisting of their entire male populations, but no tanks, no cities, no manufacturing base, Etc.

you mean like cars, and stuff. but Drones take captured materials and create the scorpion like tails that hold the equipped weapons.

and the equipped weapons are scavenged or bought, we use contracted slave labor of the drones to buy these things.

I mean everything. You can steal things, yes, but you will take losses to do that; and you can buy stuff, but you need something to buy it with. So there are advantages and disadvantages but if you RP the disadvantages I would accept it (if I were FT).
