Korhal V: Primary Research Facility: Codemane: "Magellan"

Far beneath the sands of Korhal V, hidden beneath layers of concrete and Neo-Steel, there was Magellan, the Advnced Technology Research Board and Heavy Weapons Development Group had come together with a new project, one designed to bolster the firepower of the Armored Combat Suit Troopers and their Grim Reaper Heavy Weapons units.

Project Codename: Cybrid

For many centuries the Armored Combat Suit has been the pinnacle of individual firepower on the battlefields of the Dominion, but now a new age is dawning, the age of the Herc. Designed in many ways similarly to the massive Mechs employed by other nations, and also in many ways different. The six models of Herc are each designed for multiple roles, depending on their equipment and weapons.

The Shadow:

A small, lightweight Scout Class Herc.

With only two gun mounts and two missile mounts, it is generally relegated to a very light combat role, if it ever sees combat at all.

The Sensei

Heavier than the Shadow, but still extremely light, it has the same number of weapons, but its sensors and armor are both significantly improved over those of the Shadow.

The Remora

The frst Medium Herc, still effectively a scout class, with better armor, but reduced sensors, it has the same number of weapon mounts as the two pervious models.

The Ogre

A true combat weapon. Designed with beam and cannon weapons in mind, it has no missile weapons, just 6 hardpoints for energy or cannon weapons. With medium armor and amazing speed, this is the first true striking unit in the Herc Commanders arsenal.

The Giant

A monstrosity of cannons and energy weapons. This Herc is dominated by the two massive cannon that flank the cockpit, designed to hold massive guns, generally in excess of 120mm. The rest of the mounts are all for lighter cannon, 80mm chainguns or 90mm autocannon are the standard equipment for these slots.

The Daemon

A massively upsized Ogre, with four energy weapon mounts and two missile mounts, it may not sound like an improvement, but the powerful energy weapons and massive missile batteries that this Herc can carry, along with heavy armor and shields more than make up for the lost cannon mounts.

The Reaper

With three energy hardpoints, two missile hardpoints, and one hardpoint that can do either, these massive constructions are a terrifying sight on the battlefield. Their armor and shields are second only to those of the Juggernaut, and their weapons variety more than makes up for their slightly less heavy defenses.

The Juggernaut

Capable of mounting an awe inspiring ten energy or cannon weapons, 2 missile weapons, and its massive belly cannon, this Herc is the ultimate combat vehichle, capable of respectable speed, and mounting armor that rivals that of some starships, the Juggernaut can destroy almost any single enemy that comes against it. There are only 3 options for the masssive belly cannon of the Juggernaut, a 280mm ATX, which launches massive spreads of ordnance, that cause massive damage inside their blast radius, an ATN Autocannon, firing 120mm slugs at very high velocity, or a massive PBC, powerful enough to gut a line of Siege Tanks.

Development is already complete on The Shadow and The Sensei, and they are in the final phases of testing, while the Ogre, Remora, and Giant are almost complete.

OOC: I've decided that any OOC Comments are welcome, and you can all make some IC ones once Production on the Juggernauts is finished.
