A sample of the Shadow debris from the Battle Of Altera (OOC: Part II of Abh's Shadow War RP) was set aside. It will be combined with bits of Shadow tech removed from Shadow-ized ships and allowed to grow. It is our hope to be able to grow a 'tame-ish' Shadow ship of our own.

Planet Zi has agreed to provide on of their techno-organic cores to act as a control unit. The Zoidian core will be used instead of the usual humanoid that the Shadows actually use. It is hoped that, as the core will not feel any of the emotions a trapped person would fear, the ship that is grown in this Project will be less chaotic in its actions.

OOC: For the purpose of this thread 1 RL day = 5 NS years.

The Shadow pieces have fused together and are starting to grow around the Zoidian core. It is too early at this point in time to estimate what ship type will eventually be the result.
