I was wondering what everyone would think of a Resident Evil RP where people can play as their favourite characters fighting the evil Umbrella Corporation in Racoon City during the REO-RE3 Time Period (The time where the S.T.A.R.S team enter the mansion in the Arklay Mansions get owned and return to Racoon City only to have no one believe them. Then the virus slowly migrates into the city making the town a Death Hole.). They could team up and try to escape the horror while Umbrella Corp. tested their creations on the few survivors.

I would Role Play Umbrella while taking storyline suggestions. Forgive my rambling though because I'm extremely tired.

What does everyone think?

I would love to take part, even though I am not that familiar with the game series... I know what it is about, and I have been there when my friends have played it, but my knowledge of its characters is very humble. Therefore, I'd like to come up with my own character. Is this possible?

Creating of characters are acceptable so long as they aren't military hunchos with 20 years experiance etc. They must be similar to the actual characters in the game, by which I mean the most military experience in battle you character should have is picking a lock.

it sounds like a lot of fun. I used to GM 'All Flesh Must Be Eaten' games and we touched on a RE type scenario once.

Playing a scared civilian would be more my style although I doubt I'd last very long.

Last as long as you like so long as its within reason, I mean everyone in the games gets impaled by big harpoons, eats a strange herb and is fine. :P

This seems very to be fun. I would join if started.

This is great. If we get a couple more people intrested Ill set up a Sign-up thread for you guys to select your characters. Along with a small list of rules about created characters.

I would be most certainly up for this, but not as a stars member, but rather Hunk, the unlockable character from RE 2, the gas mask wearing Spec Ops umbrella Operative, :D

RE 3 being my favourite game, but RE2 having the best setting and characters

Sorry. Id let you play Hunk but he has a set death from the games which plays a rather large role in the storyline. Maybe you can be a UBCS member like Carlos and Nikolai in RE3?

Well, after you unlock him, the story line changes, and for sake of argument, he could be another operative sent in, i just used the name Hunk to describe quickly what he looked like.

Trust me i can think of thousands of reasons why this operative would be sent in, I can work with anything,

He is a member of Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Service, though he doesn't have to be deployed with anyone else ie: Depolyed solo.

And Hunk is killed by Birkins in the sewer after he steals the Virus Sample. Birkins then injects himself with that yummy liquid and mutates even more. :P

Seems like a nice idea,but who would be playing the actual villians/monsters of resident evil?and why not create a new scenario with new monsters,so we can add an element of surprise and leave it to our imaginations,not scripted ideas?

Can I be Mikhail Victor from RE 3?

Ahhhhh, but when you unlock him, it turns out Birkins only wounded him. :P

And this is based off of a script where the roleplayers can mould it the way they see fit. Zombies will be roleplayed by those who encounter them because they have no brain power and will not be able to form a plan. Anything 'smart' will be roleplayed by me as most are B.O.W (Bio Organic Weapons) and are programmed to follow orders. Like Nemesis.

Still open to ideas on how to roleplay Tyrant and Birkins. They have a mind of their own ;)

I'm thinking of a civilian who got swept up into the team when his car broke down near the scene of the action.

I'm thinking he's in his late 20's, slightly built, caucasian, brown hair, green eyes and his weapon of choice being a baseball bat. He couldn't hit the broadside of a barn with a firearm.

He'll be terrified and very nervous in the beginning but can get slightly braver as the story unfolds.
