NS' Top 100 Characters Of All Time
Who makes the list? Who are the top 10?
by Pacitalia and Hamptonshire
Looking at the success of the NS Top 100 Posters list by the honourable Sanctaphrax, Hamp and I have decided to create a similarly-themed list to determine the general opinion of the NS population in regards to which character is the best on the forums. The NS' Top 100 Characters Of All Time List will be compiled based solely and completely on the opinions and nominations of you, the user. We will not influence the vote in any way; we will only tabulate votes and position candidates accordingly.
Rules and Regulations
Nominations can be made by any person, however;
The nomination will not be accepted if it is based solely on a person's OOC like for the person RPing the character, or IC like for the character - it shall only be accepted on the quality and depth of the character.
Therefore, a nomination should have a good explanation (3-4 sentences) of why the character makes a good candidate for the list.
Users can vote to support a character, but if they oppose it, they need not post. Positioning on the list will depend on the number and strength of votes supporting that character - thus, the character with the most votes will be named NS' #1 Character Of All Time.
Users that vote to support a character must also post an explanation (1-2 sentences) why they are supporting the character's candidacy for the list.
Users may vote for as many candidates as they like.
Users may nominate their own characters.
Please consult the Currently nominated characters list immediately below to avoid double-nominations of characters.
As of now, the tentative date for the end of voting will be 14th March, 2006 at 12.00pm EST (9.00am PST, 5.00pm GMT).
Now, let's not have this locked over something dumb. In fact, let's not have this locked at all. If you have a disagreement with somebody over a nomination or their opinion, use the TG function on the main site, email them or talk to them on an IM client. Hamp and I will keep this fair, but we can't do that if you don't chip in and keep it neutral. Please, and thank you.
Good luck to potential character-candidates and thank you in advance for participating! Read this post as many times as you need to in regards to the rules and regulations, so that no further explanations are needed on this thread. And please remember, only nominate a candidate if (although this sounds sappy-mushy), you truly FEEL he/she is one of the top 100 characters NS has ever seen. This is not a knock to RPers, but only the best will end up making it here on consensus from the users, so if you are unsure the candidate will make it on the list, you might want to consider nominating another character.
- Pac and Hamp (Questions, comments should be directed to the TG function).
[OOC to mods: This thread's in II because it pertains to characters RPed here (our logic), but if it's in the wrong board, feel free to move it.]

Some people I feel need nominating, and I'm not sure if they'll be nominated otherwise, so I came back for a post. One off.
Der Fuhrer Dyszel, Der Fuhrer Dyszel, Sanctaphrax.
I could nominate any number of characters from DFD's War RP, but I'll just stick to one, the main character, Der Fuhrer herself. As far as character development goes, this is one of the best. DFD is one of NS's greatest unsung heroes in my opinion.
Nicola Kruschev, Gaeltach, Sanctaphrax.
Gaeltach is another brilliant RPer, and Nicola Kruschev is one of her best characters. There's a RP based around Nicola Kruschev, and it makes for brilliant reading.
Mike Sarzo/Mark Lorber/Antonius Santius, Sarzonia, Sanctaphrax.
The above three, all Sarzonian characters are in my opinion Sarzo's best. His characters are (correct me if I'm wrong) based on real people, which makes them very believable and realistic, each with their strengths and flaws.
Generalissimo J.L, Roach-Busters, Sanctaphrax.
The Generalissimo is in my opinion one of the best "evil" characters around. The character of J.L is very nicely done, and is one of my favourite characters on NS.
Those are my nominations. :)
Rejistania

Margaret, Snub Nose 38: Not many people influenced the Sports-RPing community the way she did. She was one of the characters, which defined the NSWC in Snubby's time. Of course she is a bit one-dimensional, but that is something she has in common with many comedy characters.
John C. Handstand, Brydog: One of my, if not greatest character. He was arrested in McLeod03 for supporting terrorist in the nation. He also is one of the many anti-racist leaders that take matters into their own hands.

Hopefully that character is known at least a little bit outside the UN forum (ie. Knoot's Aram Koopman) but yes, it can be any character in NS.
Sniper Country

Damien Dreadfire
It is nearly impossible to make three or four sentences about Damien Dreadfire. He speaks for himself. No single NationStates character has done more to destroy, build, and destroy again, in a single lifetime. Damien is quite possibly the most destructive single individual in the NationStates World.

[OOC: Ok.]
Ambassador Jack Riley, Omigodtheykilledkenny
A self-proclaimed 'undiplomatic smartass' who'd rather attack fellow delegates with pea-shooters and hit on the Thessadorian representative than engage in formal debate. Performed a disco dance for the GA when people complained about the repeal-replace tendencies of the UN.
President Manuel Fernando ('The Destructor from Del Fuego'), Omigodtheykilledkenny
How could anyone not like a man who used catnip, Ashlee Simpson and exploding penguins in a war, who weaponised his country's dolphin population, whose 'war on terror' has thus far accomplished taking a remote, undeveloped island, whose inhabitants were armed with spears but accused of possessing nukes, and then declaring war on a nation wracked by marauding holy kittens?
Neville, (RPed by Ardchoille, mostly) - the UN Strangers' Bar barman
The backbone of, at over 3,300 posts, one of the biggest RPs in NS history, Neville serves out drinks, dolphin steak and witty, bordering on the gay, comments every day.

Well, I could not deny nomination for Prime Minister Timothy Ell, He's perhaps the most diplomatically influential people on NS, capable of changing foreign policies of other nations with realtive ease, in addition to building friendly relations with virtually everyone. Probably one of the more multidimensional characters as well.
I'd also like to nominate Masspwnage's the Great Leader Li, for creativity (A crack smoking lizard man is always a fresh concept), and an excellent record of military use and victory.
I'd like to put in 2 nominations, one for The Kraven Corporation's leader "The Father" simply because when the father first appeard it was really suprising, and after he appeared the nature of what he was made you look at TKC's actions in a whole new light, The Father may not have appeared that often but the fact that he is TKC in reality shows him off as someone quite sinister.
Also I'd like to nominate Xirnium's Inquisitors/Cardinals (I forget names since they're so many of them and they're all very well done) the sheer depth to their characters and fanatacism as well as the realism I think sets a new standard, they're predictable yet unpredictable, you never know what might happen next with them but you can have a stab that it will propably involve a lot of anti kraven rhetoric.
My 2 cents, I also agree with nominating Damien Dreadfire
MassPwnage
24-12-2005, 23:17
One (Pacitalia, you should know this guy): Goddamn is that man creepy. Chills right to the bone.
Gordon Lew: A well done executive who occasionally runs into Warhammer 40k portals and has to deal with a crack smoking son.
Ivan Akhatyev: The guitar guru. 'Nuff said.
Kellin Hannon: Weird, quirky, runs a nation of crazy, crazy, people.
Mike Sarzo: He's complex, human, and maybe even not entirely qualified for his job. All around awesome.
Damien Dreadfire: The bogeyman. He must give NS kids nightmares.
Shah Khosuru III: A hedonistic bastard of the highest order who can party well. Really, really well.
Timothy Ell: If you have to go through the trouble of inventing your own language you deserve a nomination.
Antonius I: A drunken, uncouth rat bastard of a leader with a guitar. Awesome? No shit.

Late Emperor Marcus de Draken of Chronosia! I Rped so much with Chron's character of doom, before he was tragically killed by his own son that is. Seriously, he did a nice job on the character, all chaosy and good. Like the devil himself, de Draken was! Many unworthy died under his rule I'll tell ya what!

Daniel Masaki- Coreworlds; perhaps the most interesting and enigmatic of the Masaki brood. Cursed with a destiny that at times seems beyond him; warrior, rebel, heart-throb; a man who has defied death itself and returned to the mortal plane to aid his family and divided nation. Has there ever been a more iconoclast rebel warrior? Has there ever been a character that begged to be Brujah? :P
Id, Ego and Super-Ego-Otagia; the Three facets of the Otagian AI QUETZAL, have entertained and amused me with their almost, schizophrenic-Furies-Fates-type interactions with each other before a supreme executive Otagian decision is issued. It may be minor; but they never fail to entertain, and provide a nice introduction to what could be even the most dire of situations
Remiel De Drakan- Chronosia- Ok, I know it may be slightly egotistical to vote for my own character; but it is allowed, and, what can I say; he's my favorite. I enjoy RPing with Remiel; my prodigal son, my lord of pleasure; decadant, dark, self-centered. He was the perfect one to play heir to the Imperium; even past the Fall and the reign of Chaos. When I arranged for him to be killed, however; it was all part of a larger puzzle; his death, his subsequent (gory) rebirth, and his forceful assumption of the throne; led to a vast change in the Imperium, and indeed the Galactic Empire.

Green Sun
24-12-2005, 23:51
Earnest Equanant (Green Sun)
Earnest Equanant is one of those characters that you look at and wonder why he's alive. Born in the eighteenth century, he has a unique ability to resist most damage in the conventional way and controls his age in one way or another. He's seen many adventures over his life and expresses his collected wisdom through his wit and insanity, while still staying loyal and loving to his friends and family. Earnest can bring out the best in everything or take the worst of things and make everyone laugh at it. When it comes to politics, Earnest is liberally conservative, but knows what he's doing.
Robert Scorpius (Risban)
Emperor Scorpius brought Risban from an age of dictatorial monarchs and oppression and brought a new age of productivity and life to the nation of Risban. Scorpius loves everyone unconditionally and will always remain loyal to his beloved family, even after death. A true visionary for his people and his allies, Scorpius is definitely a good nomination for this contest.
Sarzonia

I'd like to cast a vote for my own Lieutenant President Nicole Lewis. ICly, she started out as Sarzo's chief of staff and sort of spiritual advisor to him, but when former Senior Vice President for Internal Affairs Dave Forrest retired, she took over his job. She brings a great amount of bluster into the situation when it's called for but most importantly, she always calls it how she sees it.
I'd like to advance a nomination for Praetonia's Tiberius Polax, formerly his Foreign Minister and now his Prime Minister. Polax ICly was the right person to see clearly when Sarzonia and Pacitalia were at each other's throats and begin to sow the seeds of reconsiliation.
I'd have to recommend Doomingsland's Imperator Maximus as his top general and a man who will likely have a running rivalry with my (now Major General) Mike Quinn that will be a consistent undercurrent of the constant tensions between Sarzonia and Doomingsland.
Pacitalia
24-12-2005, 23:58
I'm for now, nominating one character, since the Shah has already been nominated.
Grand Duke Reginald Leopold I of Hamptonshire. He is perhaps my favourite character to read because, unlike so many of the characters RPed out here, he actually sounded like a statesman, a diplomat, and a leader. I think you'll agree, especially if you've seen his posthumous Christmas message. Deliciously written by Hamp and deserving of a spot in the top 100.
Prince Heinrich, Ald Rhun. Quite an interesting little shit. As a Rhunfolk, he's a four meter tall lizard with a superiority complex. After getting infected by a Xeno vampire, he's gotten quite big and psychic, and, along with a rather bad-ass suit of powered battle armor I accidentally gave him, has been causing some serious damage in the backwater worlds of the galaxy. After being captured, I'm still not sure if he's the good guy or the bad guy.
General Stowes of Pananab (MT Stowes)
General Stowes started out as an Afghan soldier and became the best of the best. He has seen the deaths of thousands of people or has ordered their deaths, whether their deaths were justified or not. He learned, over the years, to follow order while making commands and decisions for himself. When the time came to take matters into his own hands and command his own life, he siezed the oppertunity and fought the Soviet Union during the Soviet Invasion of Afghanistan. After being pushed out of his homeland by his former partners, the Taliban and Osama bin Laden, General Stowes traveled the world, fighting in every theater from the end of the Soviet-Afghan war until his settling in Pananab. General Stowes was able to bring groups of tribals togetehr to fight a war machien so much bigger than themselves and held out until their foes were willing to deal. General Alexander Muhammad Stowes has proven that he is charasmatic, loyal, loving, strong, intelligent, and capable of making sure teh job is done. May he rest in piece.

Remiel De Drakan- Chronosia- Ok, I know it may be slightly egotistical to vote for my own character; but it is allowed, and, what can I say; he's my favorite. I Second this vote and have seen it Remiel many times and would recomend him for atleast the top 20 if not better.

I'm going to nominate a character. I am going to nominate one of my own characters because, frankly, I don't think others would nominate him.
Prime Minister Mel Ziller of Hamptonshire. He is perhaps the character I enjoy writing for the most. He is, to my knowledge, the only Foreign Minister in NS history to actually be forbidden by his government to interact with Foreigners. He's rude, crude, mean, egotistical, self-centered, patriotic, xenophobic, nationalistic and isolationist. He twice insulted the head of state of The Island of Rose on international television and, once, seriously considered kicking a small child across a hotel lobby. However, when the chips are down he does the right thing and serves his nation... if it that means (in his own words) "Interacting with no good foreigner scum from whatever cesspool of a nation they've crawled themselves out of."

For more information on my nominated characters, please consult the items in my sig, as well as The Eternal Kawaii's Kitten Revolution thread.
[/excessive pimping]
I hereby nominate Ambassador Moltan Bausch of Gruenberg for the Top 100 NS Characters of All Time! You gotta love a UN envoy who looks like Jimmy Stewart from "Mr Smith Goes to Washington," escoriates insufferable fluffies on the floor of the UN with devastating invective, snacks on dolphin-burgers and only got his job by screaming obscenities (http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Moltan_Bausch#Ambassador_to_the_UN) in his sultan's ear for three days straight. Also, someone who became so incensed during a UN floor debate that his head exploded (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=454844&highlight=ambassador%27s+head+explodes).
And no, I am not nominating one of Gruenberg's characters just because he nominated some of mine. So there. :p
Findhorn
25-12-2005, 17:14
Raijin Dekker, by Krioval: enigmatic manipulator of universes, flawed god, tentative yet brash, the contradictory public face of an intensely detailed, richly imagined world operating at the behest of forces possibly not known even to its creator.
Calvin 'Coolidge' Drzka, by The Most Glorious Hack. I know this character only from the apparently abandoned RP Meeting the Neighbors (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=428098), but he's written with such a light touch the writer seems to relax with him, which makes it easy for readers to do the same. He's drawn with enough detail that he seems to have depths despite being a humorous character, and that's not easy.
This is comparing apples with oranges, though. Funny characters acquire background the more they're used, whereas serious ones come into the world with a history and it's usually only later, when they're more developed, that their writers see their funny side.
I'm flattered to see Neville the Barlord nominated in such company. Two details: his full name is Neville Notthatone Chamberlain, and he's not so much bi or gay as omni, which, given the clientele of the Strangers' Bar and the strict Vow of Unchastity required of all Barlords, is almost a vocational requirement.
Nathicana D'Aquisto, by Dread Lady Nathicana. Far and away one of the best characters I've ever seen, and been around for years as well. Excellent RPing skill by the player, and an extremely well-developed and thought-out character all-round. In my opinion, probably the finest characters ever created on the boards.

Minister Hartman
Why? Because he is modeled off R.L. Ermey, and due to Automagfreek's superb mastery of the pen (and the sword I might add!), you can almost hear the tone of his voice. Not to mention, his statements are somewhat entertaining when you're really bored.

Ah, what the hell.
Admiral Barbara Tucker (ISN-Ret.), the CEO of the Portland Iron Works. She's nominated because when I first put together the Portland Iron Works, I had a competing civilian maritime storefront that wasn't doing nearly as well financially as the PIW eventually would. I had visions of that company (the now-forgotten Wilmington Shipyard Corporation) buying out PIW after the company foundered. However, PIW took off in a way that I never imagined and a character I created almost as a throwaway name became one of my most important people to RP with.

A manipulative man that usurped a powerful, omni-present Government in Tocrowkia silently and perfectly, and then replaced it with his own. A brilliant speaker and a master strategist. Best character on NS? I'd have to say Generic Empire's Antonius (either in zombie or regular emperor form). That guy's drunken antics have kept me entertained for days on end. He can be both funny, as evidenced in the various EDLAGC, or totally badass, like in GE's more serious RPs.

Papagori Illiani Romanokovski
Son of ancient Siapian nobility that was losing its land and fortune. Became a gunsmith in Esmund, Siap and gradually built a criminal empire. His friendship with Augustus Clarke proved beneficial, when Clarke became director of the Siapian Intelligence Network, and Papagori's thugs became responsible for all of SIN's wetworks, until Clarke attempted a coup. Papagori fled Siap to Ceyolia, where he financed a bloody coup and now is the de facto leader of Ceyolia.

Ferdor I of The Macabees. 'A Passion Play' has helped fan out his character, in my opinon, and the nature of his rise to power and the opposition to that claim puts him as one of the most intresting characters introduced.
Halberdgardia
27-12-2005, 06:37
I'll nominate two of my own characters, since no one else would nominate them, on the basis of lack of visibility on I.I.
Kenix Kil, former Secretary of State and now the second President of Halberdgardia. Kil is far and away my most-RPed-with character. I've written so many diplomatic communiques under his name, and so naturally, that it's almost as if he's become my world-leader alter ego. He's widely respected both domestically and abroad (or so I think :p), and will, after his retirement (or death), be regarded essentially as the Halberdgardian equivalent of one the American Founding Fathers, with a corresponding aura about him. Above all, he has a way with words, to say the least. The eloquence of his inaugural address (not my creation, I must point out), along with his biting wit in dissecting the propaganda statements of the heads of states of various belligerent nations, has secured him a place in Halberdgardian history as one of the country's finest orators.
After that shameless plug of perhaps my most cherished NS character, my other nominee is probably hopelessly outgunned, so to speak, but I'll go ahead anyways. My other nominee is Delta One, the Halberdgardian Central Intelligence Agency's finest agent and premier assassin. He's accomplished over a dozen and a half high-profile hits (which have only been vaguely alluded to, but never actually RPed), and managed to single-handedly start a civil war in the country of Guadalombia after a botched assassination attempt on the dictator of that country. He also played an integral role in the total annihilation of the government of Ceyolia, assassinating five top military and Cabinet officials and single-handedly disabling a uranium-enrichment facility; his accomplishments in Ceyolia were second only to those of the Otagian agent Coatl.

I have to nominate Azazia's Prime Minister Alistair Tetley. His character goes beyond the normal limits of roleplay, as do all of Azazia's creations, having emotion, morals, conflicts, and relationships that build the leaders of the United Kingdom up from the paper-thin dolls most use into real, three-dimensional people (albeit fake people). The way they are constructed is superb, and Tetley in particular gets you right in the head of the second most powerful man in Imperium. Not only do you know what he thinks and feels, but his intuitions and aspirations seem so realistic its like reading another's mind. From ruining alarm clocks, to political scheming, Alistair Tetley has kept me happily reading since the first day I met Azazia. (This is Novikov's alter-ego, by the way.)

Generic empire
27-12-2005, 21:19
Boo Radley - (Freudotopia)
The quintessential Bond-esque superspy. Suave, cunning, brilliant, ingenious, well-dressed, and always polite and matter of fact, Radley is the perfect personification of Freudian culture: lethal, but stylish in the fact.
Tank McBrain - (Generic Empire)
Boo Radley's perfect foil, he often works with the Freudian on the most dangerous missions, when extra force is needed, or when the high command is in need of entertainment. Big, barbaric, and unapologetically heavy handed, McBrain represents Generian philosophy to the purest extent. The bickering between Radley and McBrain is often priceless.
Mr. Black - (Generic Empire)
The perfect enigma, Mr. Black represents the dark history of the Generian Imperial Intelligence Service. A faceless entity created to be the link between the intelligence branch and the other branches of the Imperial government, Black decided to use his extensive training, near unhuman intelligence, and perfect espionage instincts to fulfill his own purposes. Mr. Black does an excellent job of representing the darker side of Bornerifreudia, and serves as the ever present tie-in.
MCHAMMER - (Freudotopia)
Perhaps my personal favorite character, MCHAMMER is the artificial intelligence construct created by the Freudian government to replace the government itself and effectively rule the nation. However, the construct had other plans and vanished into cyberspace to engineer crimes of various degrees of infamy. MCHAMMER is by far the most original character I have ever seen.

Chairman William Stryker
Ah, one of the finest characters I've seen in NS. What's much better, the character was created by a player that actually put a mighty good effort and that is one I will forever remember: Joint Conglomerates. Chairman Stryker is an insidious businessman, and some of the most cruel and ice-blooded leaders the world has ever seen.
Chairwoman Debra Mackensay
Also another character from Joint Conglomerates. If you have ever gotten a telegram from Debra Mackensay, received a memo from her or seen one of her UN working papers, then you already know that she is not someone to screw with. She is a walking, talking declaration of war, an international incident in stiletto heels… a bitch, essentially. With a keen business sense and a sharp eye for deception, she is capable of sending entire governments much larger than hers cowering in fear without batting an eye. A master of all aspects of international law, she has been known to diffuse furious diplomatic aggression with a casual invocation of a simple loophole in an obscure clause in an obscure treaty. This, combined with her position as CEO of the massive BioGen Industries, makes Debra Mackensay easily one of the more influential women on the world stage. “Diplomacy is a business,” she once wrote, “and should be conducted with the efficiency of a business.”
Chairman Michael Laszlo
And last of all, also created by Joint Conglomerates, Chairman Laszlo. The smooth talking, slick-haired, conniving Michael Laszlo is the typical corporate jerk, a complete and utter weasel. Sexist, doused in way too much cologne and always dressed impeccably, Chairman Laszlo will do, say or destroy anything and everything to get to the top. He is dangerously ambitious and makes very little effort about hiding it. Secretly, he dearly covets Chairman Stryker’s position as majority shareholder, but is too much of a wimp to try to take it. As CEO of CyberTech Industries, the corporation that designed both the Droid Combat Unit and Satellite Weapons System, he is one of the most powerful members of the Board.

I'd have to nominate:
Kimiko Ayasugi-Moua of the Real Anime Liberation Movement (The Real ALM).
Why? Well, Kimiko was one of the more interesting characters I created. She also seemed to be a villian who could be a regular Lady MacBeth, scheming to destroy, active, and full of white-hot anger, vitriol, and ambition, and could be eerily casual and upbeat with those she liked talking with (especially with that Marlene Dietrich voice she uses). I especially enjoyed writing up wordplay with Generalissimo J.L. and the RB forces, and with some of the other RALM brass (Jake Featherston IV comes to mind). A real behind-the-scenes type evil genius, one that has haunted (or been the subject of fun in) Present Day Comatica, Pacitalia, MassPwnage, and Upper Xen for a while.
Linda Stuart of the Real ALM
One of my other favorites. Seemingly blind to the the mechanations she is a part of (until recently), she serves her masters with a fiery zeal that would make El Cid and Yoshitsune blush. I enjoyed, again, writing her fight scenes (worthy of any action film), even when they became tenuous, though in terms of character, she is a tad wooden, though an ongoing RP is fleshing a little of her background out.
Victoria Lew of Upper Xen-
Daddy's rich girl. Rich, priveleged, and the heir to the Lew fortune, she is a gun nut and a gearhead, with surprisingly good manners, personality and looks and refined tastes. She loves the Who, and is one of the few NS characters I know of that has a Secret Stash of classified military test footage. The Lew sibling I RP'ed the most, she is slated to marry Kellin Hannon.

I'll throw in a vote for Kraven's Father. Becuase no nation has had such a drastic affect on my own nation as father. Calculative and evil, your blessing today is your death sentence then next. his ability to turn one into his slave at his very whim allows for intollerable depth of character, even though his acual depth is non existant (hologram)
I'll also nominate Marik Severcide from Psyker Bearzerkers (me!) Becuase even though he is only the most trusted aide my nation has ever known he is also so opld that many of my nation's leader sometimes put him in charge of the whole country at times. He supervised the tourny for my nation's leader so she could find a groom and durring times of war he is always counted on for his knowledge. As a religous figure he is the top ranking official and he could (and should now that i think of it) start his own little cult. Marik, while quite is not stupid and could very well take over the country... But e wont becuase he is that loyal... And how hard is it to find someone that loyal?

Paci, I think ya need to update. ;) :p
Just out of curiosity, how many DID I kill? Was it eight or nine?

31-12-2005, 05:23
I'd like to submit two: ViZion's President Hiro "Chiefy" Ando and Jarridia's President Jarrod Braham.
President Hiro "Chiefy" Ando -
President Chiefy as he was known was once of the great and influencial leaders of his time. He lead ViZion to being among the strongest forces back in his time. He was one of the founders of the Coalition Forces Alliance, which was, in 2003, among the more powerful alliances, helping to wipe out genocide for quite a while and topping out at over 70 nations in the region alone during November of 2003. He also lead ViZion and many others in the early wars against Acigoo and the terrorists, particularly Terror of the World. He also lead the wars against Egypstan. He was outspoke and would never back down from a challenge. He was loved by his peers, and feared, hated, yet respected by his enemies. He was truly a great man who was killed in a terrorist attack by Terror of the World. He is viewed widely as the single greatest leader in ViZionarian history, and that is saying something.
President Jarrod Braham -
President Jarrod Braham lead the nation of Jarridia into glory. He and President Chiefy were much like brothers, always working together. President Jarrod was a very noble man, and was quite powerful, though during his time tended to be overshadowed by President Chiefy. He gained so much respect, even the ViZionarian people them selves view President Jarrod was among the greatest leaders in history, in the ranks of President Chiefy.

Mr. T -
Why? Because kills everything with his death lasers that shoot from his EYES! And his girlfriend is really hot, and he also smokes weed and gets drunk without hangovers because he's so hardcore. He eats babies because he's so awesome, and he kills lame Star Wars rip off characters wielding lightsabres with the swipe of his mighty, meaty staff.
His mohawk simply demands respect from all lesser beings around him and his amazing manliness. Also, he outguns the Israeli Defence Force with his flesh-cannon (which is also his meaty staff), then he went to Somalia and totally kicked the rebels ass, then, just because he could, he pissed on the doors of the whitehouse and when he was asked what he was doing by a secret service dude, he just looked at him and the secret service guy totally EXPLODED!

The Black Agents Nominate : Agent 7
Agent 7 in the past and recent and current RP's has developed his skills as a great character. Unlike many characters who normally are considered Heros of a nation, Agent 7 has came close to death many times, if it where not for the help of those around him. & and his inablility to communicate his fellings continues to find himself in struggles with his life and those he cares about, As he tries to balance his life as an agent and his life as a husband.

Vice-Minister Atticus Konovski, Kulikovo, by Kulikovo
The Worker's State of Kulikovo was once ruled by an iron-fisted facist regime. Atticus's brother spoke out against them and his younger brother Atticus did as well. His brother was arrested and executed. Atticus was flogged in the town square. He joined the Socialist Revolutionaries in a war to rid Kulikovo of the facists. He distinguished himself as a brave and smart soldier. For two years he fought on. During the battle of the Kalten Mountains, when socialist forces were being surrounded, he led a night time attack that broke their lines.Winning the Worker's Medal of Bravery at the siege of Jonensberg when he charged an enemy machine gun nest, killing five enemy soldier, two with his bayonet and fists. He rose through the ranks to Master Lt. His parents disappeared into the enemy camps during the war. His fiance was executed when socialists tred to take over the capital earlier. After two years of fighting, the Socialist government was installed where he played an important role. He is now the Vice-Minister of Kulikovo and distinguished himself as a level headed and caring politician.
He is also featured on the Queen of Tarayshia seeks a suitor thread.

Changed, and no, it's not. It'll be the top 50 now. :p
...shut up, I know what you're thinking. ;)
Here's my top:
Chronosia: Remiel De Drakan
He somehow took over the GE even when coreworld's Lady Nightshade is technically incharge. Plus, there is his brutal rebearth after he died. 'Nuf said.
CoreWorlds: Daniel Masaki
A rebel of his own relative (or is she his own sister? Forgot), Lady Nightshade has fought him on several occasions. He's cheated death, fights for the sake of the greater good, and seems to be selfless. A perfect leader.
Huntaer: Deshoonde/Magriel
Magriel has a unusual history which is why I nominated him. For two melenia, he wielded the light side of the force and fought for the Malkir and the Huntarian Republic. After Darth Trilkan invaded republic space with his Kirtir army, he [Magriel] saw the awsome power which the dark side could bring. He soon fell, became Darth Trilkan's apprentice renamed himself Deshoonde. After the destruction of the Republic, he fought his own sister and caused her to turn to the dark side. All of his family, Shelintiave (his sister), Aelikes, Dominkive, and Aunshi fell to the dark side after him.
Long story short, 4000 years later he lead a deep space fleet into the unknown regions and soon discovered that his master had planed a plot to kill him, the Huntarians, his family, and everything in the Aphotic Galaxy.
He searched out the remaining Malkir Council members, gathered the army which he was sent with, and began a rebellion against Trilkan and his Empire. He's currently attacking the Empire's colony system of Lorita.
Godular: Maximillie
Leader of a bunch of good guys, but he's completely out of his mind eventhough Godular claims he's in his right mind (in my opinion). He'll destroy anything he doesn't like, even if he doesn't like it only for fifteen seconds.
