((OOC: After acquiring this nation from a lazy friend whom let it die, I decided to make use of it.))
Von Benmark, a country that had been ravaged by civil war over the past two years, and one that only now, after thirty million people had died, appeared to be drawing to a close. The seeds of the civil war had been since long planted in the nation.
Since it's founding in the 17th century, Von Benmarks lower and middle classes lived in poverty, in hobbles and in boxes while the rich lived in castles, mansions and villas. The lower class were crippled by decease and famine, as most of the food either was exported or fed the Fascist pigs at the top of Society.
How ever, the Fascists were unable to prevent the eventual spread of Communism through out the country. Hearing of the astonishing success of nations like the Soviet Union and China, it was only a matter of time before the situation exploded.
It all started within a few weeks. Bombings, large scale riots and assassinations began popping up all over the nation. Soon, it was a full blown civil war between the various splinter Red groups and the Banish Military. In an attempt to quell the violence, the Government wiped entire towns and villages off the face of the map, right down to the last man, woman, and child. How ever, it only fueled the Red hatred of the Government.
And now, in the Banish capital of Mushakov, Red banners and flags flew high over the crowds of Revolutionaries. The Fascists that had plagued the nation for so long were all but destroyed, and only a few brigades of the army remained loyal to them, and they were quickly being destroyed. Blood filled the streets in pools, and in some it even reached up to the Red's ankles. The combat was incredibly violent, but the Reds were fast making their way to the Capital Building.
In a final plea for aid, the Banish decided to end their isolationist polices and contact the outside world for aid.
