Elephanti Air Force
The Elephanti Air Force is divided into several different command areas, or {A}COMs (Air Commands). These are (RED commands are not currently in use):

NAMCOM (North American Air Command)
MEXCOM (Mexican Air Command)
SAACOM (South American Air Command)
AFCOM (African Air Command)
GULFCOM (Gulf Area Air Command)
EURCOM (European Command)
INDCOM (Indian Command)
PACOM (Pacific Command)
RUSCOM (Russian Command)
ANTCOM (Antarctican Command)
EASTCOM (East Asian Command)

Aircraft are divided into wings, each of which contains a variable number of planes. The wings are as follows:

Elephanti Air Force (red=classified)

Weather Wings (5 wings, 20 planes per wing)
5xLC-130P
5xWC-130E
5xWP-3D
5xWU-2

Weather wings are used to conduct meteorological research and reporting. The LC-130’s are designed for transport in polar conditions, and frequently operate in Antarctica. These wings are generally divided over several bases, as they are not needed en masse.

Refueling Wings (25 wings, 12 planes per wing)
2xKC-10A Extender
2xKC-130T
8xKC-135R Stratotanker

Refueling wings refuel planes in their missions. Most major bases have refueling wings, which help supply most area bases.

Coastal Patrol Wings (250 wings, 10 planes per wing)
6xS-3B Viking
2xP-3H Orion
1xNimrod AEW3
1xAtlantique ATL2
2xV-22 Osprey

Coastal Patrol Wings are small, mobile groups, used to protect and monitor the coast. While frequently working with the Detection Wings or the Elephanti Navy, these are designed to be able to be housed at any base in the country, and every base within a short distance of the coast has at least one wing garrisoned. Several civilian airports also house wings.

Intel Wings (25 wings, 32 planes per wing)
4xES-3A Shadow
4xGlobal Hawk UAV
5xMQ-9A Predator
10xNimrod MR2
4xSR-71C Blackbird
6xU-2R Dragon Lady

Intel Wings gather important intelligence for the military. Many planes in this wing have never been announced to be part of the Air Force, and are kept as secret as possible.

Detection and Electronic Warfare Wings (50 wings, 31 planes per)
8xE-2C Hawkeye
10xE-3K Sentry
3xEA-6B Prowler
5xE-8C JSTARS
2xEC-130Q
1xEF-111A Raven
2xEP-3E Aries II

One of the most important groups in the Air Force, the Detection and Electronic Warfare wings work to gather battlefield information and relay it to troops. Some planes provide more direct support, jamming communications or conducting other activities.

Bombing Wings (25 wings, 80 planes per wing)
10xAvro Vulcan
20xB-52H Stratofortress
10xXB-70 Valkyrie
40xBucaneer

Bombing wings are large groups, only stationed at major bases. While they are only equipped with conventional weapons, they have both tactical and strategic components, so that they can commit to the battleline as well as conducting missions inside enemy territory.

Cargo Wings (50 wings, 110 planes per)
10xC-5B Galaxy
20xC-2A Greyhound
20xC-17A Globemaster III
20xC-141C Starlifter
40xC-130J Hercules

Massive wings, these groups form the logistical backbone of the Air Force, consequently the entire military. Only the biggest bases can handle a full wing in addition to the many other aircraft they must handle, so these wings generally cover a large area. These planes also transport Paradrop divisions for the Army.

Combat Wings (50 wings, 130 planes per)
5xAC-130U Spooky
10xA-6F Intruder
50x Hindustan LCA
10x Lavi
10xK-8 Karakorum
5xF-2 Mitsubishi
20xF-14D Tomcat
10xEurofighter Typhoon
10xF-111F Aardvark

Combat Wings combine fighter and attack aircraft in a massive group of combat planes. They can fight combat roles, light bombing, escort duty, or whatever the mission requires. The Hindustan LCA is the backbone fighter, while other fighters augment the ability. These massive wings generally are divided over several bases as well.

Other Planes (100)
100xMC-130 Combat Talon

Elephanti Politics
The System
The United Sultanates of Elephantum are ruled in a way unique among the nations of the world. The Sultans, each the head of their own Sultanate. Sultans are appointed by their predecessor, however, any selection must be approved by the other Sultans. Civilian input comes in the form of the majlis system.
The Majlis
The majlis is a system unique to Elephantum. On a given day, traditionally Saturdays, although occasionally held on other days due to special circumstances, all the members of a household will meet together, and talk about issues. These range from simple family disputes to tax policy to military expansion. The family will come to a consensus, enact what they can, and then the head of house (either the oldest or best educated member) will go to the neighborhood majlis, and the process repeats. Eventually this works its way up to the Sultan, who repeats this process with the other members of the council, thus creating final rulings.
The Council
The Council of Sultans consists of voting members, who vote on propositions, and non voting members, there to advise the Sultans in policymaking. Often members of the press attend as well. The following people are voting members:

Sultan of Bahrain
Sultan of Qatar
Sultan of the Emirates (UAE)
Sultan of Arabia (Saudi Arabia part)
Sultan of Kuwait
Sultan of Iraq (Iraq part)
Sultan of Kurdistan (Iraq part)
Sultan of Iran (Iran part)
Sultan of Jordan
Sultan of the Holy Lands (Israel part)
Sultan of Lubnan (Lebanon part)
Sultan of Central India (India part)
Sultan of South India (India part)
Premier of Mexico (Mexico part, as Sultan)
Sultan of Small States (everything not covered above)
