"Eh shut the hell up ya red bastard... what, you dont speak English? Get in the damn truck!", a grizzled old guard, irritated by the unusually low temperatures, butted a perky young communist supporter in the back of the head, immidietly knocking him unconcious. The young man, fresh out out of college, fell to the ground, his head thudding against the concrete curb. Red blood quickly mixed with the flakes of snow which littered the ground, inciting the mob of communist prisoners as the color would a bull.

Shouts filled the air as Coalitionist Guards attempted to control the horde of reds as they broke the ropes which bound their hands, and began to turn the situation to a far more violent one. The man which killed the first revolutionary, was quickly tackled, then stabbed with a shard of metal one of the prisoners held in his sleeve. A second later the communist was riddled with bullets, enraging the mob, causing several more to rush the guards, they too were mowed down. A riot ensued.

Within minutes, all eight hundred political prisoners were mowed down, the survivors given two in the chest and one in the head. The following morning, the press had a field day. Headlines such as, "Political Prisoners Murdered in Cold Blood!", to "Red Revolution Silenced!"

Over the last three months, communist sympathizers and known members of the Red Sect of the Workers Party were being repositioned to Halker's Island, that was until the now infamous Red October. The massacre on 74th Street quickly evolved into an all out purge of the prisoners, as entire camps were blown apart, and those already on Halker's covered in Napalm. Feelings inside the Coalition were relatively calm due to the highly efficient propoganda campaign which painted the prisoners more as monsters than human beings.
