The Intrasolar Colonization Vessel (ICV) was rapidly approaching completion. The project had been worked on for years in utmost secrecy, to avoid attracting the attention of other space powers.

This vessel would be the largest manned space vehicle in history, capable of carrying up to 12 crew members and 36 colonists. Its supplies could keep it flying for up to 20 months. It was totally reusable and powered by six ion drive engines. Its hull was armoured in 1200mm of a titanium-aluminum alloy honeycomb, as well as heat shields to resist the intense heat of exit and re-entry. It carried four 30mm autocannons for point defense against small rocks and other space junk. It also carried four specially adapted anti-satellite missiles, for emergency use against large celestial bodies, such as asteroids, and a point-defense laser, for the disintegration of dust and small objects. The vessel also possesses cutting-edge communication & sensor equipment.

Food can be grown onboard in hydroponic gardens, although meat and other food that cannot be grown must be stored on board. The ship possesses multiple cargo bays that allow storage of up to 20 months' food supplies.

The ship carries two on-board gyms, which are essential to maintaining muscular strength and endurance, which quickly deteriorate in a micro-gravity environment.

The ship's medical facilities allow for complicated surgical operations, long-term care, first aid, and even the delivery of babies. The ship has a variety of medicines and medical equipment stored.

Onboard supplies of hydrogen and oxygen can be converted into water, in addition to the 18 months' supply in the internal tanks. The water tanks are located near the outside of the vessel and provide some protection from radiation.

The vessel can carry up to 15,000 tons of cargo (not including food and water).

In addition to this vessel, the Intrastellar Cargo Vehicle (ICaV), has been constructed alongside the ICV. The ICaV is an unmanned vessel that can carry an additional 2,500 tons of cargo.
