On Tuesday December 20th, the USS Montgomery, a USN Destroyer, caught fire shortly after Wargames with the Russian Navy. The fire occured in the missile bay of the ship. Three Russian Sailors were lost and five were injured. Admiral Chuikov Nagasti said "Its inhumain to keep these sailors working in old. filthy, damaged ships. The Russian Goverment needs to rebuild our Navy."
Off tha coast of Canada, the HMCS Chicoutimi after being disabled in the water with no lights or any power was towed away. Last week the Chicoutimi went dead off the coast of Halifax, Canada. After four crew members being air lifted out for smoke inhalation one died. It turned out that an electrical problem lit the fire that began.
