It is high time that all nations of the world express their opinions of the Tocrowkian Reich. We have been an established Military and Political Super Power. How ever, in case your people have all been living in caves for the past twenty or so years, allow us to list what we believe in.


Pro Homosexual Rights: Marriage has been legalized just this year.

Anti-Marxisim: Tocrowkia operates a highly Capitalist economy, and thus Tocrowkia's Government is highly Anti-Marxist and Communist. Several Government-endorsed programs keep an eye on suspected Marxists and Communists. Some are arrested and sent to Tocrowkian Re-Education camps.

Anti-Religious: While Tocrowkians are by and large a religious people, the Government rejects all religions and any members must hide any Religious tendencies and worship on their own time. The Government is strongly Anti-Catholic and has shown some Anti-Islam tendencies in the past.

Gender Equality: Since the earliest humans settled in Tocrowkia, both Genders enjoyed equal status. The need to defend the Tocrowkian homeland could spare no quarter in wars as well, and Women shared in the combat, and still do today, as women serve alongside their male peers in everything from naval vessels to Combat Infantry. In a modern and historic Tocrowkian family, both parents work full time jobs and mainly leave the raising of the children up to the children’s Grand Parents. The few "housewives" or "homemakers" that do exist are universally frowned upon.

Pro-Military and Imperialism: Long has the Reich believed that the greatness of a nation is determined by the potency of it's Military. Today, we can say with no ego that we have one of the strongest Military forces in the world. We can project an unlimited amount of supplies and thus troops any where in the world, and again, we can say with no ego that we have one of the most technologically advanced Military forces in the world, which we have proven with our advanced technologies such as our Orbital Strike Platforms armed with Magnetic Accelerator Cannons, or our advanced fighter technology used in our standard Raven XG3T model. We also support the idea that the strong must over come the weak for the betterment of the world, but it must also be done with benevolent intentions.

So, world, what do you think of Tocrowkia?

To be honest, apart from Homosexual Rights and Equality of the Sexes, we're practically polar opposites of you. Our government is 1/4 composed of Marxists and the remaining 3/4 are all leftists, with deep supsicion of Capitalism. We permit freedom of religion for all citizens and are anti-military, with only a small army and airforce (but a extremely large navy).

OOC: Yes, it is an ego talk. I am fully aware there is no Super Power on NationStates. How ever, my nation is fully ignorant like that.

The nation of Darvainia is a relatively small and new nation, however in the very short history of our nation we have grown in leaps and bounds, economically, militarily, technologically, and even slightly in population. Although we wonder what you could do with the opinion of a nation as small and and young, and relatively poor nation as ours, we give it anyway.

Our values and yours are almost exactly the same politically, and we commend you and your nation for most of what you are doing. The only area we disagree on is the rearing of children. Why should grandparents be the only ones allowed to take this role? Raising and nurturing children is in our view the most important role played in society. In out nation the definition of family is rather obscure, though legally is it pretty straightforward. Sometimes grandparents raise the kids, sometimes the mother, sometimes the father, sometimes a relative. Oftentimes in fact men and women in the communities, especially those rougher ones like in the innercity, unofficially take the role in their sparetime, mostly those out of the generousity of their hearts take in children whose parents either aren't there at all, or abuse their children and drive them out of their homes.
Even so no one, man or woman, young or old, should be frowned upon for taking on such a profound, important, and even spiritually and emotionally rewarding responsibility.

All in all though we seem like we'd get along just fine (unless of course you tried to invade ;) ), who knows maybe we'll hear from you in the future, but as of right now we are recovering from a terrible civil war so will be busy with that, so farewell for now...back to work.

The Dominion of Black Shadows responds:

Homosexuality is un-natural. Therefore it is very frowned upon in Black Shadows. We have laws forbidding same-sex marriages, and homosexual acts are punishable by banishment.

While we do not endorse any form of Marxism, we do not exclude Marxist governments as allies of The Dominion.

Black Shadows protect any and all forms of religion. What you believe is between you and your God. One exception is Islam , specifically Radical Islam. There are no terrorists of any kind in Black Shadows. This is primarily because we purged them from the land.

Men and women are equal in the eyes of the law. However, we believe that each have abilities, and therefore duties, that are peculiar to each. Men are the "hunters", providers, and protectors. Women are the nurturers, the sensitive sex, and are to guide the home in a peaceful, uplifting manner, so as to make the family unit the core of our nation. This is not to say that women are not capable of fighting for their country. This is not, however,their primary role.

The Dominion's military is neither the biggest nor strongest, but it is more than sufficient to maintain peace within and without it's borders. We are not imperialistic by any means, and prefer peace to war. We've yet to be invaded, but should that day come, we and our allies will put up a defense that would tax all but the most powerful nations forces.

We look on Tocrowkia as an able nation, one that has much growing up to do. We were all in the same situation at one point or another, and we successfully avoided most of the pitfalls growing nations come upon.

We therefore extend our hand in peace to Tocrowkia, and offer to exchange diplomatic contacts. I look forward to hearing from you.

Very well. We would like to meet with your representative as soon as possible. We have several plots of land available for you to place your embassy on. All plots are 5 acres in size. All nations are allowed an ambassadorial staff of 10 and an equal number of military/security personnel. One vehicle is also allowed. If you require an airport, Air Base Crusher is just 20 miles from the diplomatic sector.

If it weren't for the fact that the entire United Empire sees you as the demons that attacked a close province of ours and killed thousands in the process, we might have considered opening long-term diplomatic relations with the Reich. We share many of the same prinicples as you, such as pro-military and imperialism, gender equality, and anti-marxism, but enjoy larger amounts of civil rights, such as freedom of religion and a few elections. But again, the enemy hatred of the Reich makes a diplomatic friendship a sort of a no-go among the branches of the Comatic government.
