The Politburo was in meeting to discuss the plans of attack with Premier Alexander Nikolayevich Stukov. The Politburo was made up of high-ranking officials, they were at the most important meeting of the Soviet Union, it was dealing with the future of the NUSSR and the future of an archrival of the Union.

All the Politburo members were listening to the 58 year old Premier Alexander Nikolayevich Stukov giving a speech to them on this coming cold war against their archenemy of the Khailfah al Muslimeen.

“ Comrades of the Politburo…today, we will renewed our cold war with our old time rivals of the Khailfah al Muslimeen, we must show them that we are still there, their rivals are still alive and well. Thoughtout the USSR, a massive mobilization of all the Union forces underaway. It was going to taken four months for this massive mobilization to to fully ready for a war. Yet at the main naval bases of the Sovet Red Banner fleets , there was massive movenment of the submanines all of these subs belong to the Ivan taskgroup which was assign to head just outside KLM waters at Nova Atlanits and just sit there and await for orders. It was going to take them , one weeks and four days to reach the assign area..enough time for someone to catch them if they were looking in the right area.

Emperor Julius Chan read the latest intelligence reports from the Imperial Intel Core, East Asian spy satellites have picked up a massive jump in movement for the Soviets Unions who have been quiet for sometime and all at once they are active once again in the world…Something was up and something big is going to happen…Emperor Chan just had one of those feeling something bad was going to happen. Then he got a report from the Imperial Intel Core, it was about a major Soviet sub deployment. The Emperor rely the information that he has receive to his allies of the KLM. He knew that Soviets may try something against KLM and therefore KLM must know whatever the EAE knows on the matter. Also the Emperor decide it would most prudence for his nation to get ready for anything that may happen with the Soviets now mobilization its forces, that East Asian Empire must mobilization its own forces in case of war. Therefore the Emperor ordere the entire Imperial Arm forces to began full moblization in a case a war were to happen, the East Asian wouldn’t be taken off guard.

Then the Emperor order the 1st Imperial Fleet to head to Nova Atlantis, and support the KLM forces in the area, if its needed to do so, join in the hunt for Soviet forces in the area. The Emperor give notice to the KLM government on the matter of EAE fleet heading to Nova Atlantis.

The Sultan and his Defense Minister were reviewing the latest intel reports on the Soviets massive arms forces build up and the major Soviet sub deployment. This latest new making many officals in the KLM uneasy and the Soviet build up.

“Also Sultan, with East Asian Empire sending of their major surface fleets out to support us, , I believe it would be best if we were to order our naval battle group in Nova Atlantis to get an active role in protecting our Dominions in case the Soviets decide to do anything.. And my Sultan, we must at cost mobilize all our forces , so we won’t be taken off guard and overwhelm if the Soviet do decide to attack while our guard is down. For the stake of state we must began a full out mobilization of all the arm forces branches for stake of protecting the state…we know the Soviets are up to something after being so quiet…. The Sultan knew that his Defense Minister was right and he agreed with him

“Very well, I here order the compete mobilization of all the arm forces, and all the Dominion commands of Eurasia, European Union, East Africa, West Africa, India, Southeast Asia and Nova Atlantis will take orders from Arm Forces High Command in Istanbul for now. We must do this to have all our commands working together in case of war, we must together to defend ourselves. The Dominion fleet of Nova Atlantis as standing orders to patrols waters of Nova Atlantis and if they make contact with the Soviets sub, do not fire upon them unless order from High Seas Command. Now we’ll soon enough what the Soviets are up to ….our old rivals are trying something…if we do find those Soviet subs in our waters…the Soviets have a lot of explaining to do..” said the Sultan, just ending the meeting with his Defense Minister

At the Dominion of Nova Atlantis, 40 P-7A LRAACA Maritime patrols began to take off from their air bases and were now doing sea patrols in the waters around Nova Atlantis and dropping off sonar buoys in large numbers, all within the Dominion waters. My Soviet Union, is not Communist state per said, we are in fact a Social Democratic State. We allow other parties to exist in this USSR, like for ex. These are the leading parties of the Union goes as the following Socialist Party of the Soviet Union, then the Communist Party of the Soviet Union, the Social-Democratic Labour Party(Something along the lines like the Democratic party of the US) and then the Constitutional Democratic Party(aka Kadets, Right Wing moderate party.)

Also my CPSU, maybe the most powerful party of the Union, yet its not as powerful as the CPSU of the rl USSR, this CPSU doesn’t make the policy for the Union, the Soviet Government the policy for the nation. Our Economic our base on the New Economic Policy(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_Economic_Policy), and also all heavy industries are state own and light industries are not state own, but in private hands and so is agriculture is also in private hands.

To answer any questions about my USSR relationship to the Eurasia USSR is kindly like relationship between brothers, both are share many common bonds and yet different in opinions. (AP)-Two divisions of the Royal Army of Malkyer have been mobilized and are being sent to the Khailfah al Musilmeen's Dominion of Nova Atlantis to conduct military excercises with the Imperial Commonwealth's longtime ally. Set amid rising tensions between the Khailfah, their ally the East Asian Empire, and those nations' former enemy, the Soviet Union, it is hoped that the presence of the Royal Army will not disturb the status quo.

The Sultan was reviewing the latest reports on the situation growing near Nova Atlantis, now with the Soviets sending major battle group made things much worse for everyone and most of the officials in the KLM government were on edge…and it reflect in the Sultan meeting with his top ministers and high ranking naval officials.

We already station one major fleet group in the area and the East Asians are sending one of their fleet groups, so we outnumber the Soviets in that matter. Orders were send out by High Seas Fleet Command for two wolf pacts to patrol the waters outside of the Soviet Union, and to remain n international waters, but within SLBM range of Soviet bases..it was going to take the two Wolf Pacts three weeks from their bases in India to reach their assign targets area at full speed , while running under silent drive mode.

It was going to take roughly one month and a half for all the Soviets forces to get into position. So just giving plenty time for the Soviets to send out their KGB agents to get information on their rivals and get to know their foes…one of these would be foes that Soviets didn’t know to much about was an ally of the KLM, nation by the name of Malkyer. The Soviets needed to know more about this nation known as Malkyer…to get an better idea of what their facing..

Premier Stukov called the Chairman of the KGB Andrei Andreyevich Gromy for an meeting. The meeting was taking place in the Kremlin at the Premier office. It went as the following

“Yes, Premier Stukov…its one of Imperialist state, its appear to be very similar to British Empire in many aspects. I belive it would best if we were send number of KGB agents to Malkyer to gather more facts and to get to known them better…” comment Chairman Andrei

“I was thinking the same thing. Malkyer colonial holding sare vast and far apart from eachother…that is key if we were to ever fight…we might cut their life lines in the sea…also they hold Cuba and Central America…I belive the local people in these regions may not be loyal to Malkyer…we may want to set up contacts in these regions, if the time comes , we can give the Malkyer a bit of pain for them deal with while we fight KLM. “ said Premier Stukov

“Agree, I will form a team of KGB Agents for the mission, I belive we may find some anit Malkyer elements and also I will pick agents that can blend in and not stick while in Malkyer. Is that all Premier?” ask Chairman Andrei

With that the KGB began to plan on setting up a spy ring in Malkyer...only time will tell when the KGB will send the spies in and how long would stay undetected..

With two weeks passed and the Soviets taking up station near Nova Atlantis waters, and the Dominion Government has been pleading with the central government to issue statement to the Soviets on the matter of their forces moving and taking up station near Nova Atlantis. The Central Government reply by stating they hold off on sending out a message in till they could figure what exactly the Soviet were up. Now Central Government finally decides to issue a statement to the Soviets.

The Khailfah Government request to know why the Soviet Union has station such a large fleet near its territorial waters, yet within international waters, your stationing of such large taskforce near our waters is unnerving to citizens and government of our dominion of Nova Atlantis. Please tell us why your nation is having such a large taskforce near our waters.


Then another message was send to the Premier Alexander Nikolayevich Stukov himself, it was highly encoded

The Soviet Union here by demands that the Khailfah al Muslimeen, removes its ICBMs station in Nova Atlantis that threaten the national security of Soviet Union. Our forces are now taking up positions in International waters outside of KLM, to insure that the KLM does remove these ICBMs from Nova Atlantis. If not, the Soviet Union will forceful remove these ICBMs that threaten the very existent of the USSR. We do not want war, yet if these ICBMs remain in the Nova Atlantis, will lead to war. To prevent war, the USSR demands that the KLM withdraws these ICBMs from Nova Atlantis, we will give the Khailfah al Muslimeen Government 48 hours to reply and given in to our demands.

The Soviet Union claims that we have ICBM station in Nova Atlantis, we can’t denied or can confirm that we have ICBMs in the Nova Atlantis. The Soviets are trying to forces the Khailfah to do remove something that we can’t deny or can confirm. If the Soviets do not back down within 48 hours and order their fleets to turn back to homeport and if they try to attack Nova Atlantis, A state of war will exist between the KLM and the USSR. We will defend our nation from any attack by the Soviet Union. Shall not back down from this stance, if the Soviets want war, we shall give it to them. We will not start this war, you are the ones who come and demand and threat us with war! In return, we give you 48 hours to think about withdrawing your insane demands.

Officially Statement form the East Asian Emperor

The East Asian Empire here by gives it official support to the Khailfah and will do anything within its power to help the KLM force the Soviets to realize their threat will do them more harm then good. If The Soviets do not back down within 48 hours, it not only face war from the KLM, but from the East Asian Empire. We pled with Soviets to use their common sense and don’t start a war. We all want peace.

Within hours of the statements between the three powers, the Sultan give orders for Alert system of the KLM arm forces to be rise to Red., the highest alert in the system. With the entire arm forces getting ready for war, expect one branch the Missile regiments were told to remain on stand by in till further orders were issue….just showing the KLM was willing to use her Nuclear stock pilings yet.

At the Sultan Palace, the Sultan was in meeting with his Defense Minister

“Understand this Defense Minister, I will not give the orders to being the Missle regiments online intill the last six hours of the 48 hour warning is up…intill them we will maintain non active state of the ICBMs.. right now its only 47 hours left before we hit zero hour…let us hope that the Soviets back down from this game of chicken.” Said Sultan Suleiman Al Bashir II

“Very well my Sultan, when we strike the sixth hour hits, we will come to you for orders to active the Missile gird…let us hope it doesn’t come to this.” Said Defense Minister-Vizier Süleyman al Uthmān bin Aziz

The Soviet Union wasn’t surprise to the fact that KLM and EAE send their own counter warning to the Soviet Union warning. Premier Stukov simply order his forces to wait for his sign to start the war if KLM and allies doesn’t backdown in 46 hours. Times was passing ever so slowly ,but slowly speeding up as each hour pasted.

Premier Stukov issue the following statement in a Press Release statement

The Soviet Union will not back down from its 48 warning to KLM; we will not permit this menace to our existent to stay in Nova Atlantis. We shall not allow the KLM the right to deny us existent by allowing them to station these ICBMs in Nova Atlantis. Its incorrect to said that the Soviet Union is war hungry…we want peace at all cost, but we shall not be threaten our existent by these ICBMs that Khailfah has station near our nation. Our warning still stands…we do hope that the KLM and EAE come to their senses and do the right thing for the stake of the people of the world.

1st Nova Atlantis Carrier group was patrolling the Dominions water, most of the fleet crews were on edge…with the Soviet threaten the KLM with war…was making a lot of people mainly in Nova Atlantis very uneasy, since they were the closest to the NUSSR.

The Commanding Admiral and her officers were discussing how handle the Soviets if they decide to attack. Each officer in debriefing room were members of the foundering groups of Nova Atlantis, these groups were of the following English, Irish, Scottish, Wales, German, Russian, French, Dutch, and Spanish. Yet there was one officer that stood out in the group was the AMI Political Commissar, who was of Persian Backgound.

Admiral Helena Cain was comanding officer of the Fleet. She was one of the few admirals that was alllow to stay in the fleet when Nova Atlantis decide to end its protectorate rule and become Dominion state of the KLM. With that the meeting was over, 80 F/A-18E/F "Super Hornet” took off from their carriers and began to do theirpatrols around the fleet, to insure that Soviet fighters would have to get thought them, before hitting the fleet itself.

Premier Stukov and The Politburo had a few heated debates on the policy of issuing a 48-hour warning to KLM and EAE. In the eyes of the Politburo, it was a risk they couldn’t take for now. They order the Premier to withdraw the warning and withdraw the Soviet fleets and order them to return to Homeport. The Politburo was acting in the best interest for the people of the Soviet Union. They decide it was best to maintain an active policy against the KLM and allies, but not a policy that would lead to war. If it was foolish to think that tensions between the KLM and NUSSR were over…the cold war was still on…but wasn’t going to a hot one so to speak. They release this press statement to the world.

The Soviet Government here by ends the 48 hours warning to the KLM and EAE. We send our apologies to KLM government for the rash moves done by our Premier. We have already order our forces to withdraw and return to homeport. Our forces are now standing down. Once again we apologies for what has happen in the past few days. Let it be know the Soviet Government wants peace not war.

With the news of the Soviets comings to their senses, and standing down from their threat of war.. Emperor Julius Chan sends orders for the 1st Imperial Fleet to return home. For now peace has return to the region, yet the EAE had kept an eye on the Soviets. EAE wasn’t going to be taken off guard if the Soviets were to do anything in the future.

The KLM government was shocked by the Soviets dropping their demands was odd to the KLM understand.
