Welcome to Vanguard Military Industries!
We are currently focusing on logistics and support for battlefield operations, but we will be expanding soon!
Please do your own math. Production rights for these vehicles are currently not available. We are taking design requests, however we will only accept requests for autonomous vehicles currently.
Vanguard Logistics
VL currently specializes in refitting cargo vehicles to be completely autonomous, transporting supplies to where they need to be without the need of a driver. These vehicles use GPS to navigate, and RADAR and LIDAR to avoid obstacles. All you need to do is upload a map, tell the vehicle where it needs to be, and let it go. You can also specify if you want the vehicle to stay on roads, stay close to a certain area, or get there as fast as it can. In the event GPS communication is cut off, the vehicle will continue on it’s way with internal tracking until it reaches it’s destination or GPS contact is restored. Vehicles can also be remote-controlled in an emergency.
The 2 main advantages of these cargo vehicles are if they are attacked and destroyed, no lives are lost, and secondly, these vehicles can operate at full efficiency during the night, reducing the chance of an attack on it.
Ground Vehicles
MTVR-A (Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement, Autonomous)
Length: 25 feet 8 inches
Width: 9 feet 7 inches
Height: 8 feet 2 inches
Weight (unloaded): 26,000 lb
Max speed: 60 mph
Max range: 400 miles
Payload:
30,000 lb (on road)
14,200 lb (off road)
Towing capacity: 21,000 lb
Price: $400,000 US
The MVTR-A is a refit of the Medium Tactical Vehicle Replacement that has recently been developed. The MVTR is the replacement for the 5-ton truck. It is best suited for transporting supplies along known roads to established bases. However, it does have full off-road capability and can find an alternate route to their destination if their preferred route is blocked. This vehicle also comes in flatbed, tractor, van, and tanker models. It is internally transportable by C-130 and externally transportable by CH-53
Multifunctional Utility/Logistics and Equipment Vehicle (MULE)
Length: 15 feet
Width: 7 feet
Height: 4 feet
Weight (unloaded): 5,000 lb
Max speed: 70 mph
Max range: 400 miles
Payload: 4,000 lb
Towing capacity: 6,000 lb
Price: $150,000 US
The MULE is based off the HMMWV chassis, but with the crew compartment and weapon removed. Instead, it uses the space to hold the navigation system and up to 2 tons of cargo. This is the perfect resupply vehicle for small units on the move.
LTV-A (Light Tracked Vehicle, Autonomous)
Length: 20 feet
Width: 7 feet
Height: 6 feet
Weight (unloaded): 8,000 lb
Max speed: 60 mph
Max range: 400 miles
Payload: 6,000 lb
Towing capacity: 8,000 lb
Price: $250,000 US
The LTV-A does everything the MULE can, then does more. The LTV-A is better protected, can carry more, and navigates rough ground better. It can also carry 4 litter patients or 8 walking wounded to medical facilities.
Air Vehicles
CH-53E-A Sea Stallion
Length: 99 feet (60 feet folded)
Height: 28 feet 6 inches (18 feet 6 inches folded)
Rotor diameter: 79 feet
Weight (unloaded): 33,000 lb
Max speed: 150 knots
Max range: 500 nautical miles
Payload: 36,000 lb (external)
Price: $40 million US
The CH-53 is one of the world’s premier heavy-lift helicopters. It can carry everything in the Vanguard Logistics catalog, including itself. This autonomous version is capable of taking off with payload, dropping it off, then returning to land. However, it requires human help to load cargo. The CH-53-A can also carry up to 55 passengers, though they may be understandably worried with nobody flying the helicopter. This craft can also be remote controlled.
UH-60-A Blackhawk
Length: 64 feet 10 inches (40 feet 11 inches folded)
Height: 17 feet (12 feet folded)
Rotor diameter: 53 feet 8 inches
Weight (unloaded): 11,500 lb
Max speed: 155 knots
Max range: 450 nautical miles
Payload: 9,000 lb (external)
Price: $25 million US
The UH-60 Blackhawk is a very flexible utility helicopter, in use by many forces all over the world. This autonomous version is capable of taking off with payload, dropping it off, then returning to land. However, it requires human help to load cargo. The UH-60-A can also carry 12 passengers. This craft can also be remote controlled.
More models coming soon!
