As the final battle between Kraven begins, the Allied Union and her allies must look to the future of the free world, which has been and always will be oppressed by foreign empires and dictatorships. ISAF, the brainchild of the Allied Union governement, is the soulution to this problem. The "5 Points" of ISAF are as follows.

Point 1: No nation thats does not have free and open elections and highly devolped civil rights will be allowed entry into ISAF.
Point 2: ISAF is a protective alliance. Should a nation attack a member, the other members will come to it's aid, whether that aid be military or monetary.
Point 3: Each member shall contribute a division sized deployment of troops to a ISAF military unit, which can quickly respond to a threat. Should a nation not be able to contribute to this force, alternate means can be contributed.
Point 4: All non-top secret technology, whether military or civilian, shall be shared between member nations.
Point 5: Should a nation not adhere to the above 4 points, they can and will be ejected from the alliance.

THe Candidates Opinions mean little, it is their policies thast count, They are also all real, however though to be selected as a candidate is considered a great honour, For example only the best Economists are in the running to be short listed for Minister for the Economy, After the short list is created the people then vote in elimination round voting, every candidate is given the exact same amount of financical and other forms of support required, so it is not possible for a candidate to do better simnply because of resources avilable.

In Novacom it is not the person considered important it is the role they play.

As the de facto leader of ISAF, the Allied Union of Velkya must point out two situations in which ISAF aid is applicable.

Number 1: Xharn naval forces engaged Novacom forces while a rogue Novan fleet was attacking both Novan and Velkyan fleets off the coast of Xirnium. Novacom has blockaded Xharn's coast, and Xharn may be calling in some bigger players to it's aid, including Banduria.

Number 2: ViZion and Xirnium have been attacked by the Terror of the World terrorist group, and may need counter-terrorist forces and aid.

Your aid is needed right away, however, as a facist rebel force is currently attempting to gain control of ViZion and have the backing of Banduria, Magha, and Doomingsland, as well as several other nations. All ISAF members are obliged to respond to this crisis, as Velkya is prepparing to send the 5th Airborne Division "Screaming Falcons" as well as the massive 4th Quick Response Fleet to assist the congressional forces in ousting President Villian and his allies.

Very good a Findanian force shall go as well.

We need naval forces to break the blockade of enemy forces around Italy. Velkyan oribital forces are preparing to bombard the enemy fleets with railguns and orbital missile batteries within 12 hours.

Bandurian presence complicates matters, I'll have to aid you financially/information wise, as we are both part of the Zanziik Republic, there are certain rules preventing one from combating another.

That's good, explain these rules to me.

Article II: Disputes Between Nations

Article IIa: If the parties can't come to a compromise a senate review board will be set-up and the senate shall decide the best course of action. There decision shall be final.

Article IIb: Remaining Zanziik Republic members MAY NOT become involved in the conflict UNLESS direct harm falls upon said nation/people.

Voila, I will of course lodge a case however though I suspect Article IIB will work against me.

I'll send a naval expedition.

The Government of Kahanistan is confused on some of these points in the ISAF charter.

Namely, is the ISAF to have a standing army that we are to contribute troops to? We have the 28th Division of the Imperial Marines, whose commander has volunteered to serve in an ISAF force. She will bring 25,000 troops, 600 Merkava IV tanks, 200 PT boats, 500 Bradley AFV's and 100 M109A6 Paladin 155mm howitzers.

She would merely like to know if the forces are to be placed under an overall ISAF commander that she would report to.

Kahanistan, the ISAF force is still in the planning stages, and doesn't not at the moment have a commander, all that is known is that it will be based in Velkya and will recieve the air force component from ourselves and the naval from Findan.

Novacom, however, has been booted out of the alliance for violating Point 1 of the alliance's constituion.

Not that I am particularly bothered either way, I did actually OK it with you in the first place and you said it was acceptable, but since you said you were departing to the realms of FT, a place of Sanctioned Godmod it means nothing.

And I'm still in PMT, though after Kraven I'm going back to MT, there's too much tech wank in PMT for my tastes.

I usually ignore the UN ratings and the like as you can never get the right mix of issues on demand, I RP what my political freedoms are.

I do that, it says I have massive deforestation, and nothing ever seems to make a dent in my twin excellents for civil rights and political freedoms. I ignored all three and say I have great civil rights and political freedoms, and that my environment is clean.

While Nouchia is a new democracy who still needs to work things out, we will look past that and have accepted you into ISAF.

Exactly, besides most issues (if not all) are tailored towards black and white endpoints not shades of gray or other endpoints not envisioned, for example in the pressess too free one it doesn't have an option to have a ministry that oversees the press to ensure standards, (nothing smutty or overtly offensive opposed to what oithers would claim would be government propoganda) or a chance to develop a powerful yet environmentally friendly economy.

Hence why I answer issues but rarely pay heed to the end result, instead preferring to RP those realities instead.

BTW a post for Emancipation will be up after Kraven has a chance to respond.

Pythogria is interested in joining this alliance, but we are not sure if we conform to your rules. We are a dictatorship, however the dictator is democratically elected, and cannot change 3/4 of the laws. He is also forced to step down every four years. As for the "higly developed civil rights" rule, we have rights and freedoms, but our laws are strict.
