I stand before you today to bring to your attention a grave and dire situation that is occuring as I speak in the totalitarian dictatorship of the Kingdom of Kreature. The people of that nation live in a constant state of fear and oppression at the hand of their leader, King Thaddeus. His secret police force is one of the most feared in the region, and is a constant threat to peace everywhere in Kreature. Most recently, King Thaddeus has breeched the international law of Religious Tolerance. He has created a new religion and is inforcing its teachings on its citizens. To any person on the planet earth that follows any belief, this is a travesty that cannot be allowed to continue. Innocent people are killed everyday in this nation and we as progressive nations cannot stand idle and allow these barbaric practices to continue. That is why I am calling for nations to stand up and support The Theocracy of Yucania in bringing the oppressive government of Kreature to a hault. We are still in disbelief over what events have occured today. The brutal and evil attack on innocent civilians by the nation of Kreature cannot and will not be tolerated. We wished for a peaceful negotiation and change in government powers, but took no action against Kreature, and in exchange, the Kingdom of Kreature has brutally killed and injured innocent civilians. We are asking for the support of any nation that wishes to help stop the threat of terrorism. The Allied Union has been watching this potential conflict via satellite for several weeks, and condemns the actions of Kreature against the innocent nation of Yucania. They show no morals in attacking civilians, and the Allied Union will not stand by while the forces of imperialism rape and pillage the free world. Should Yucania permit, we shall send the 19th Infantry Division to act as a deterent force to hostile action. Should Kreature decide to invade, the 4th Marine Division will be sent as an additional aid force. Should Kreature back down, we shall remove forces from the area within 1 month.

The Theocracy of Yucania humbly accepts the proposal of the Allied States of Velkya and will allow their troops into our nation to deter the terrorist that we have found out have already entered Yucanian soil. My unit was given direct orders from King Thaddeus himself to mobilize on the Kreature/Yucanian boarder and launch the invasion of Yucania. But my men are fearful of our government, as is most of our citizens in this nation. We are being used as pawns in this conflict that King Thaddeus has orchestrated. President Kenix Kil was, as always, sitting at his desk in the Oval Office. He set the paper down and looked back at his visitor, Fleet Admiral Jack Forrester. Forrester had brought word from Secretary of State Hawkins that the Kingdom of Kreature had not only refused to stop supporting terrorist attacks against Yucania, but had also threatened Halberdgardia against intervention.

"How they plan on 'making quick work of our puny forces' is beyond me, Admiral," Kil said.

"Beyond me, too, Mr. President, sir," Forrester said.

"Well, Admiral, I take it you know how to deal with these would-be terrorists?"

"I've already got a few presents in mind for them, Mr. President."

"Very well, Admiral. Mobilize a fleet, and prepare for departure, but don't cast off quite yet. Give the situation some time, see how it develops, and we'll adapt accordingly. Besides, I'll need to take this to the Congress and put it up to vote."

Also, for those of you who may be skeptical of the size of the HFNEF, I'll tell you why I've made it a rather sizable force. First, we don't ICly know if Kreature will get any significant foreign support, and we don't want to be outgunned if they do. Secondly, if we have to take on Kreature's entire armed forces or lay siege to the country for whatever reason, we also want to be prepared for that eventuality. Thirdly, it's also a propaganda/intimidation tool: we're ICly hoping that perhaps Kreature's government will back down if confronted with such a force. So, by deploying such a large force, we're really just covering our bases.]

To: The 101st Flying Phoenix Unit

The 44th Mechanized Unit has plans to defect to the Yucanian Government. We must not allow them to escape Kreature. Their last known location was on the western island of Bayside. Bomb the island and cut down these traitors before the scum of Yucania can retrieve them.


The sun was setting as the tanks and armored transports of the 44th Mechanized Unit rolled into the city of Bayside. They had encountered very little resistance on the trip here from their base, just a few hours away. But soon the sound of thunder filled the early night sky, and the jet fighters of the 101st Flying Phoenix Unit circled overhead. Commander Cronkhite quickly knew that they had officially been spotted so he ordered his men to open fire on the fighters. The Flying Phoenix Squadron moved into attack formation and began laying down a blanket of bombs down on the 44th. They continued this bombardment until nothing but flame and hot burning metal could be seen from the sky. The 101st then flew around one last time and began heading back to base. Lt. Dario Segelhorst, one of the men with the 44th, exited the burning wreckage of his M707 Knight tank and ran over to where the Commander's tank was resting. There was fire ravaging the terrain around the Commander's tank and the hull was melting from the heat of the bombs. He then spots a man laying in the grass, face down and notices that the man is indeed the Commander. Lt. Segelhorst bent down to feel for a pulse... but none beat. The Commander was dead. The remaining men knew that they were not safe, as they heard in the background sirens that meant the secret police were on their way to pick up the injured and the survivers. Dario knew that this meant they would be executed if they were indeed captured, so he ordered the men to gather what injured they could and retreat into the forrest to try and find some cover until the Yucanian transports could arrive and save them, or at least what remain alive of them.

After receiving a distress message from the 44th Mechanized Unit, General Lucien Eagle decided to bring just 2 cargo ships, enough ships for the men and and supplies that remained left of the 44th. The two cargo ships left international waters and came to berth near a secluded beach where they launched small boats that were driven to retrieve the men that survived the bombardment. The total number of men that survived was 53 (including the injured). They were quickly picked up and the two cargo ships slipped out of Kreature waters as quickly as they came. The men of the 44th were finnally safe and could live to share with the world what horrors the people of Kreature met with everyday. The world would soon find out the truth about what goes on everyday inside the Kingdom of Kreature.

We would like to make the some of the classified photos that we have obtained free and open for all nations of the world to take a look at and see what kind of events have transpired in this bloody Kreature Conflict. We are sure that some of the photos might cause some uneasyness, but they are the result of an evil dictator who wants nothing more than to see all who oppose him dead. We cannot allow this and we hope that after viewing these disturbing photos, you may be able to agree with us on a course of action against the Kingdom of Kreature.

The holy empire of Qarez condems any and all terrorist operations, and wishes to offer Yucania an alliance to eradicate the terrorist threat from Kreature.

More information will become avaliable after the nightly Military Council meeting, but expect us to scramble 2 squads of fighters, our special forces squad (complete with out elite sniper team, one of the best in the world and the pride of Qarez, as well as master of MOUT) and any armor you may need. In a press statement today, given in front of the main government building in Kiros, Haraki, foreign minister Jonathan Friedman said the following on live television:

"Recently there has been a great deal of turmoil in the world. Many unprovoked wars have broken out, but one of the most alarming happened in a growing nation near us. A state-sponsored terrorist act by the government of the Kingdom of Kreature against the Theocracy of Yucania killed multiple civilians, in an unprovoked but deliberate and vicious attack against non-combatants. This crime is unforgivable. The government of Haraki formally and officially denounces the acts undertaken by King Thaddeus of Kreature, and pledges all forms of support necessary to those nations currently struggling to end this affair. We have offered to the government of Yucania shipments of supplies and money to help finance and support the war effort against Kreature. That is all."

Without answering any questions from the eager press, he turned and walked back inside.

New Qarez City, Qarez 18/12/05 The Holy Emperor met with the Military Counil in their nightly meetings and set down some important rulings in regard to the recent terrorist attacks by the Kingdom Kreature. Among what was decided were force sizes, positioning and departure dates, if their requirements are not met. In addition, the Holy Emperor relased a two sentence press relase:

The nations of Kreature and Borderstan have exactly 24 hours (RT=GT) to announce, officially, their standing down and to send troops back to their bases. At the end of these 24 hours, Qarez WILL launch an assault.

This would be Qarez's first major military action since the rebuliding of their military forces. Qarez has been in international news lately as they recently purchased several billion dollars worth of armaments.

QINN will update periodically throughout the next 24 hours and will jump to a live feed of the as of yet unannounced press conference at the end of the deadline.

Greetings and Salutations, 'Holy' Emperor of Quarez. Your Declaration of War and ultimatum against Borderstan has thus created a situation now unrelated to Yucania's call for a crusade against the Kingdom of Kreature. Now this is a war between the two of us. I will not withdraw my offer of military aid to a country which has been unjustly persecuted by so many other nations. Yucania has provoked the struggle between Yucania and Kreature, just as you have provoked war with Borderstan.
Furthermore, the Kingdom of Kreature has not yet accepted aid from Borderstan, leaving you without cause to make threats. Despite this, you have proceeded to make such aggressive stances, and it shall be you who is held responsible for a conflict between our two nations.
As for your missiles, such a threat is laughable. Borderstan has a missile defense system, much of it bought from a friendly nation. If need be, I, Ahdis Eezard, First Sheik and ruler of Borderstan, will declare a holy war against you.
If a holy war occures, the warring tribes that plague my country will unite against you, and then you've got A Problem. And when you've got A Problem, you won't be an Emperor anymore.
