May someone please give us a rubbish plane? We will take anything, so long as it is airworthy, and is of commerical jetliner size. We dont care how old, or useless it is, if it can fly and carry passengers for our national airline, which we need to carry passengers, and the President.

"This could be a good way to get rid of those old bangers we've got littering the old Imperial Airways hangars."

"They still airworthy?"

"Should be; we'll get them checked before sending them. Give them the offer anyway."

Long Live the King!

The Right Honourable Charles Peter Winfrey IV MP,
Minister of Foreign Affairs,
Foreign Office,
King Charles Street,
London SW1A 2AH.

The Imperial Union, although not able to offer any modern aircraft due to a lack of aircraft manufacturing industries in the Empire at this time, is able to offer Rorotravia a total of ten (10) Armstrong Whitworth A.W.27 Ensign Mk 1; a 40 seat commercial propellor airliner used by the British Empire in the 1930s.
We wish to offer this as a gift to increase relations between our two nations.

Sincerely,

Charles Peter Winfrey IV MP

We would greatly desire such aircraft, so long as they can travel long distance, and also so that we only have five.

We appreciate that the nation of Rorotravia requires aircraft of sufficient endurance to make their nation's endeavours profitable. Despite the relative antiquity of the Ensigns, they maintain an flight range of 1,384 kilometres, suitable for short-to-medium range passenger flights that would enable easy access to the smaller airports that Rorotravia will no doubt first have as they develop their infrastructure.

Sincerely,

Thankyou very much, we are pleased with this offer, however do you have anything bigger for international flights just incase? We will take your old Boeing 707s if you have any?

Imperial Airways does maintain a fleet of 5 Boeing 707s largely for the purpose of backup capacity in the case of it being required. To this end, we would be required to sell these aircraft in a package deal of £80 million for the 5 aircraft in order to offer compensation to Imperial Airways shareholders.

Not to be rude but it is quite sad that you cant think of your own nation and own way of governing and that you have to copy that of Imperial Britain.

OOC: Excuse me, but it's my choice as to how I wish to model my nation, and if I wish to base it on a particular RL nation, than that is my perogative. Besides, your comment has nothing to do with this thread.

well our nation can spare you 2 B737-600 for a mere 10 mil $ for the cost of maintance since it was laying useless in our hangar, since we've gone through replacing it with a new much more advance PX-302 'Xavio' passenger jet
from MierTech (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=454453), so we can give it to you after we check it

President Jackson has agreed to a compromise between the two parties. Republic Africa Airways(Rorotravias airline) will take in five of the old propellar planes from the Anglo-Saxon Union, and will buy one of the 737-600s(Providing it can make stops and refuel at airports, if it is a long journey).

If this is alright, then we ask all parties to respond. By the way, can an airline sell its assets if it is independant of the government?

If it is an independant company does the government have to pay anything to maintain the airlines assets, and this question goes for all other businesses.

We find these terms acceptable
