Lord Lion-O sat on his throne in the Cat's Lair (http://thundercats.vpga.com/bios/cats_lair.jpg) on New Thunderra. He looked around and finally stood up and went to visit with the Thundercats in the conference room. Once there he seated himself at the head of the table and began to speak, "We need allies. Our scout ships show that space is becoming ever more turbulent. There are forces out there that oppress and destroy and we need allies to fight against them should they ever come for the Thunderran Galaxy. Our forces are small as is our empire. We must find a way to defend ourselves and grow stronger to insure the safety of Thundera." Cheetara spoke up saying, "I agree this is a logical choice but we must be ever wary of the evil amongst the stars." Lynx-O replied, "Of course we must be always wary of the evil. But remember Lion-O to trust one's eyes only will decieve you." Lion-O said, "Then it is agreed we will seek out the help of other nations to help us grow stronger and defend ourselves." Lion-O stood up and walked out with the other Thundercats in tow. Lion-O and the other Thundercats went to the control room and sent out a message,

To all nations I am Lord Lion-O of New Thunderra. I extend my greetings and friendship in an endeavor to make new allies so that we can prosper as a nation and have friends and allies amongst the stars in case any aggressive nations choose to attack us. I invite you to a grand banquet in two days time at the Cat's Lair in honor of friendship and brighter futures. I hope to see many new faces here. Good day.

Two days later the preparations had been made and the Thundercats waited in the Grand Hall for their guests.

OOC That's what this kinda was supposed to be, a Character RP that's why I mentioned a banquet. That's why the Thunderans are waiting for new people to visit.

OOC: I gotcha. And just for your info when one of my characters say "Ji", the i is pronouced like the i in white.

IC: "Mr. President, a message of allianceship has just come in from the nation of New Thunderra. It seems that the Thundercats have revived themselves. Should we send some jedi over to negotiate the contract." President Jirair Wescolum thought it over. He then replied "I shall go myself, Barbara thank you." Not only was Jirair the president of Wooshaba he was also the leader of the Wooshaba Jedi Council. He sent a message to his brother who was in a far off country that he was going on a mission to New Thunderra. His brother, Den replied to him Be careful. Call me if you need me. Lialai and I will come quickly. Jirair replied I won't need you older brother. I will have plenty of help. Our youngest brother will be joining me. Den sent a message back saying Okay but I will paging in on you ever now and then, alright. Jirair replied Okay. The master then sent for his brother, Lew. Lew was not only a future jedi master he was also a powerful omnikinetic. He would come in handy on this mission. Jirair didn't have any special abilities like Den and Lew he just knew how to fight. He had always been the best fighter of the three of them. He told Barbara to tell Lew to meet him a the space docks. He then put on his robes and grabbed his purple lightsaber. He then walked towards the space shuttles.

When Jirair arrived Lew was already there. He was sitting there playing with his lightsaber. It was purple just like Den and Jirair's blades. They all had been taught Juyo/ Vaapad but neither Jirair nor Lew could match Den in skill with it. Jirair always had to use another style to gain an advantage. "Come on brother." Jirair stepped onto the ship. Lew followed him. A couple seconds later they were on there way to Thunderra. Lew sent a message saying that they would be arriving soon. Lew then said "This better be worth it, Ji."

Two days was more than enough to prepare, as the Ascendancy decided to send a low key diplomatic function, led by Lady Ruri Hoshino. As a result, the High-Mobile Battleship Nadesico-Yamato arrives alone, in an aura of grace from a simply, yet serene Fold Jump.

Said arrival is a plain two diemensional line of great brightness, replaced by the expanding form of the celestially advanced warship itself.

As such, Admiral Ruri, as she's normally adressed, comments. "Is this the planet indicated?"

Commander Hori comments.. "Triangulated signal source does indeed corolate Admiral."

Ruri nods calmly.

:: ~ This is the representative body of the Ascendancy Foreign Advisory, wishing to meet the souls that have requested this chance encounter.

Please indicate where we may disembark to meet you in person.

The Thunderra Spaceport Control sent a transmission to the starships and the voice they would hear was that of a beautiful female, "Greetings and welcome to New Thunderra. We will be transmitting landing co-ordinates for the Cat's Lair landing pads to you shortly. We request that the Wooshaban starship dock in Port 266 and that the Gaian vessel dock in Port 667. Lord Lion-O awaits your arrival at the Cat's Lair. Oh and by the way have a very nice day."

"Port 667 confirmed. Thank you Thunderra control." Hori responds over comm, and looks back through his holographic globe station, to Admiral Ruri's.

She replies in mindset with her husband. "Take us down, docking beacons set to their standard fequencies and commands."

"You got it Admiral." Hori responds and turns back to give full attention to the matter. It does not take long for the battleship to approach the indicated dock, following a proper sensor guideline.

In moments, it begins to dock.

Spaceport Control confirmed the docking and transmitted the landing co-ordinates and the female came on again, "If you wish a Feliner can take you to the surface or you can use your own ship."

The following message was transmitted from an unknown source at approximately 2300 hours.

To Lion-O and all those of Thunderra.

Greetings. My name is Nil'Besh, Iuso of the Nil'kemorya Caste. I have been authroized by the leader of my people, the honorable Bis Andreya, to commense diplomatic talks and possible alliances with your people. Although it is odd for one of my rank and background to act as a diplomat, your talk of alliances seems to be geared towards a military goal. Therefor, Bis Andreya believes that the Nil'kemorya should be present at these talks. We await your reply, and shall arive within 0030 hours if you accept.

Hori responded back. "We'll use that Feliner. Better to know the technology of whom we meet in the same breath that we discuss the same."

At that, Ruri rose from her hovering seat, as it locks backwards into the main platform deck of the bridge. Hori's floats down and locks to the lower secondary deck.

"The commander and I will be out. I imagine guards will not be needed here, but keep them at Code-Blue-Four standby until we return please."

"Aye ma`am." ..a systems Tech responds. At that, the two vessel commanders head out to the connecting exit hatch and await their chariot to take them down to the surface.

Lion-O sent a return message,

Greetings Nil'Besh we will be happy to have you come. Feel free to use your own vessel to arrive at the Cat's Lair if not you can use a Feliner which will be awaiting your arrival at the Spacedock. Hope to see you soon.

OOC: I'm going to arive tomorrow...too busy right now. I just got an ED letter from Vassar saying I'm in, so I've been out partying all night >_<

A young strikingly handsome Thunderan pilot in the form of a humanoid cougar greeted the Gaian diplomats at the Feliner bay. He walked up to them and said, "Greetings I am Cougra one of the Thunderan Military's best pilots and I will be flying you to the surface today. If you will board the Feliner we can get to the surface and you can meet Lord Lion-O. Should you have any questions feel free to ask." With that said Cougra walked to the Feliner and boarded the main compartment taking his place in the pilot's seat and began to power up the ship while waiting for the diplomats to board.

Admiral Ruri nodded to Cougra. "Very well then." ..is all she speaks, and then boards the Feliner with Hori in tow. They keep collected while the shuttle is in motion.

Being tourists means keeping shut and looking alot. =^^=

Cougra nods to the diplomats and said, "So something I should tell you about the Feliner is that it is a small intergalactic moderatley armed transport that we tend to use as a general transport and as a military craft. We tend to get a lot of mutant attacks around here from Plundarr. They are easily defended against but they do become a nuisance at times and are luckily a galaxy away. So are there any questions you have regarding the Feliner or any of those giant warships you saw as you entered the spacedocks?" While all this was being said the Feliner had boosted to full power and taken off of the hanger deck and began it's descent towards the Cat's Lair.

Greetings great leaders of Botablia do you wish to visit us and join our feast. If so you can arrive by your own vessel or we can send a Feliner to come and get you. Goodbye and have a nice day.

Lady Ruri listened to all the discriptions and comments. She then returns with.. "I am assured to inform that you are not alone in struggles against tyranny in the universe. Moreso in other dimensions of existence.

Tell me, if you can, how may worlds and/or systems does your civilization control? We tend to measure civilizations by such size and power, mainly to know if there are worse threats to endure. The cosmos is very large and more dangerous than normally expected. Such has been our own lessons in many a war, and many a peace."

Cougra responded, "Well that's good to know that others out there fight against it. By last count that I remember we control about 792 systems or over 7900 planets in the Thunderan Galaxy. This is only because we may have manpower but not an extraordinary amount. We control roughly 72% of the Galaxy now mind you that most of these systems are rather small colonies or outposts and some are only patrolled by military Feliners. Our allies consist of many other beings such as the Berbils, Snarfs, and Third Earthers." As the Feliner (http://www.geocities.com/lady1venus4/thefeliner.jpg) descended those who looked out side would see Thunder Wings (http://www.toydreams.co.uk/images/thundercats/boxed/thunderwingsboxed.jpg), Hover Cats (http://www.geocities.com/lady1venus4/hovercat.jpg), and Thunderstrikes (http://www.geocities.com/lady1venus4/thunderstrike.jpg) flying through the air.

Ruri comments.. "A mighty realm indeed. Your civilization should be proud of that. I'll defer other question until we meet your Lord and Leader. It would be proper to trade our statistics in such a proper place."

Hori comments.. "A Class-I galactic realm would make a valued trading partner."

Ruri holds up a pausing hand. "Now now hon. Pleasantries and trust first." Hori just blushes and slinks a tic.

Cougra laughs and nodds, "Well I hope you enjoy visiting the Cat's Lair it's a very beautiful place." The Feliner slowly glides in and lands on the landing pad where Lion-O (http://www.purrsiathunder.org/coppermine/albums/lordsnow/normal_cap010.jpg) is standing surrounded by his Thunderian Guards (http://www.purrsiathunder.org/graphix/dict/thunderian.jpg). Cougra jumped out of the main compartment and said, "Lion-O it is good to see you again. I brought the Gaian diplomats." Lion-O nodded and slapped Cougra on the shoulder, "Well thank you. Hey what are you doing next?" Cougra replied, "I have to make a run to the Ruron Naval Depot to pick up Panthro and Bengali. I should be back shortly. why do you ask?" Lion-O noded, "Well I wanted to know if you wanted to come to the banquet and join in the festivities." Cougra laughed saying, "Sure that sounds like fun. I'll be back in no time. See then Lion-O." with that Cougra jumped into the Feliner and wished the Gain diplomats good luck before taking off. Lion-O walked up to Admiral Ruri extending a clawed hand and saying, "Greeting it's good to meet you. I am Lion-O Lord of Thunderra."

Lady Ruri takes the hand, showing a stronger grip than expected. (The benefits of being a Hikari Tree Partner..) "Greetings Lord of Thunderra. I am Lady Ruri Hoshino of the Ascendancy Republic StarFleet, and representative of Lady Seto and the Holy Council of the same realm.

It is an honor to make your acquaintance." ..she says with a bow as well. she then nods to... "This is my husband, and Executive Officer of my personal vessel Nadesco-Yamato, Hori Hoshino."

She then adds.. "Thank you for allowing us onto your world, mighty lord."

Lion-O blushes saying, "It is a pleasure to have you here but please call me Lion-O I may be Lord of the Thunderrians but I wish to be called by my first name. I mean many call me Lord but that is more just a formality. and it is an honor to meet you Hori. Well would you like to come with me to the Conference Chamber where you can meet the other Thundercats. We will start the banquet when the other diplomats arrive. Till then we can educate you on our history and answer questions or discuss anything you may want." With that being said Lion-O began walking to the Conference Room beckoning the diplomats to follow him.

Ruri nods, and then looks back at Hori, commenting.. "Sounds like another beloved leader we know." ..hinting at the modesty. They both follow calmly, taking in the sights moreso.

Eagerness to know more, lies with patience and coming time, rather than outward physical looks, for these two Gaians.

They arrived in the Conference Chamber where Lion-O introduced the individual Thundercats all of which, except for Panthro and Bengali, were there. Once there he sat down and offered the diplomats seats at the table on which lay two things, the insignia of the Thundercats and the Mirror of Truth. Lion-O then spoke, "So would you care to field any questions or have any concerns you wish to voice?"

Ruri greeted each in turn, and then after taking a seat, and listening to the inital question, thinks about it, and then offers at first..

"What is your prime purpose for revealing yourself to the rest of the greater cosmos? Besides the obvious trade and military concerns. We're the type that look past the obvious."

Hori just nods like a bobbing toy. Ruri flicks him in an ear to stop that a moment later.

Lion-O smiled and said, "Besides those obvious concerns another one is past our own problems we have made our galaxy a very secure place and decided that we should start to increase our strength so that we can help those out there who are oppressed. We also wish to learn more about the other nations and races out there. Although we are a warrior race we wish for peace and as well an exploratory race. We will be a great military force in time but we have other concerns like expanding our race as well as increasing our foothold near Third earth so we can help our friends there to prosper and grow as well as protect them."

It didn't take Jirair and Lew that long to reach the Cat's Lair. They hovered above the country for a minute so that they would be able to send the message that they would like to land. "This is President Jirair Wescolum of the United Forces of Wooshaba requesting permission to land our ship. Over". The master jedi waited patiently for for a response.

Gaian comm-earpieces, units that hovered over their left ears, picked up the Wooshaba communication query. Ruri suggessted.. "Might I offer that the more present, the more you will learn Lion-O."

Hori meanwhile pulled out a data-Padd from a subspace 'pocket' in his uniform jacket, both wearing the uniforms of the Republic StarFleet, white, with blue edging trim, and silver accounterments. They had no award ribbons or such, rather looked more ulitarian overall. They still held advanced secrets though, such as the storage pockets for items larger than should be noticed.

The XO just began pulling up basic data about the Ascendancy Sphere, though the data was a bit outdated due to their absence from the mortal plane, and the extraordinary events that the Ascendancy had take a part in.

As that message was ent a Feliner landed on the landing pad and Cougra, Panthro, and Bengali departed from the ship.

Lion-O sent a return message, "Greetings President Jiriar you can land on the landing pad below you. I will be out to meet with you shortly." Lion-O stood up and said to the Admiral, "I believe you are right Admiral. I will be back shortly I must go greet our new guests. And it appears the rest of the Thundercats are here. Then you can get to know our chief engineers better and you will get to see Lord Cougra again." Lion-O then bolted off down the hallway and arrived at the landing pad a minute later. He then greeted Panthro, Bengali, and Cougra by hugging is long-time friends. He then calmly waited for the diplomats from Wooshaba.

Meanwhile in the conference room Lynx-O the old blind Thundercat asked, "So where abouts in the cosmos do you come from?"

When Lynx-O asked that query, Hori suddenly brightened. Ruri noted that instantly (mates usually do..) and Ruri looked over at Hori. "Want to answer that one o' impatient one?"

Hori just gives an anime glum-dry look back at her, and recomposes. He then starts with.. "If you don't mind a semi long story with a twist even above our own heads."

At that, Hori puts the Padd on the table, and presses a button on it. In an instant, a HUGE holo-globe map of the known Alpha-1 Core Universe, the designation the Ascendancy gave our own universe, to designate between this and the other universes in the D-3 Dimension.

The chamber darkens a tic, as the crystal sharp holo display displays a revolving map of every galaxy in this universe. Hundreds of thousands of them, in vast clusters, in a stringed together curtain, within which, are VAST voids of nearly blank dark matter and gravity nodes only the Universe itself pays much attention too.

The Universe was mapped in a sphere, with sixteen distinct plane circles, and an X and Y axis that measured in billions of light-years, from designated center, to the known Genesis Barrer boundry of the Universe here. In the midst of this swirl of uncalculable dots, each a galaxy of any shape and size imaginable, and some that blow imaginations away, are a number of different colors. There is a blue bordered field, a huge area with an indicator label of the Archonis Supercluster.

Another, a bright yellow dot in the center of the Local Group, within the Virgo Supercluster, where the Milky Way Core Galaxy is. A gold and blue, pulsating 'dot', was where the Thunderan Galaxy lies, about 2.7 million light-years away from the Milky Way Galaxy.

When the shimmering holo-scene gets it's effect, Hori adds.. "To start, we're outside this galaxy. More, outside most of the local universe your telescopes may be able to see, short of long term format sensors and scopes.

The Ascendancy is an intergalactic power that commands control over an entire Supercluster. The history that led us to there, is all in this Padd. Needless to say, you sent word at the proper time. If I may so boldly say."

The globe is so close, by the way, size in command, that Ruri just playfully 'swims' her hand through a lower part of it near her.

Lynx-O used his Braille Board to observe the data and took it all in better than any of the other Thundercats in the room. Lynx-O then responded, "Impressive. So you can shift universes and dimensions." While this was being said Bengali, Panthro and Lord Cougra entered. Lord Cougra sat at the other end of the Conference table while Bengali and Panthro took their usual seats. Bengali spoke up, "Greetings I am Bengali Thunderra's top blacksmith ad this is Panthro Thunderra's top engineer. we are known as Thunderra's top engineers." Lord Cougra then spoke up, "I should more formally introduce myself," This time Lord Cougra was in more official attire instead of the flight uniform they had first seen him in. He was now wearing silver and gold armor with the Thundercat symbol on his belt while on his chestplate was the symbol of the sun and the moon. On his back, beneath his crimson red cape, rested twin katanas one made of a golden ore and one made of a silver ore. The entirity of the swords were made of these individual ores. "I am Lord Cougra of the Celestial Tribe. It is nice to meet you."

Lady Ruri looked and stood to bow a second time. Hori likewise in more reaction than anything. "Of course milord. It's agreeable to meet you more offically."

Hori then responded to Lynx-O. "More rather we learned to traverse great distances within normal space, in moments, rather than the standard timeframes for hyperspace and warp travel.

The laws of traversing between Universes, and moreso for Dimensions entirely, requires ever greater amounts of powers to breach those barriers. Usually, Gates are used, such as one we have in the Milky Way Galaxy, to pass between Dimensions more easily, rather than through a drive engine of any form."

Hori then adds. "Such ways of travel are more prevalent than might be otherwise thought. As civilizations gain more advancement, such spans between galaxies begins to seem smaller. Horizions grow larger as a result."

Cougra laughed "Saying please do not call me that just call me Cougra. I am a Lord of that tribe and although I may command a powerful army I am not as important as Lion-O. I am the Lord of the Celestial Tribe whose job it is to protect the Lord of all Thunderians." Panthro was the first to speak up about the technology, "Impressive. I wouldn't imagine there were races out there that could master that level of technology. We Thunderians use a Slipstream Drive that is the pinnacle of our own technology. The drive allows us to travel over a billion times the speed of light. The powersource in our vessels that use FTL drives is a Quantum Matrix. It took me years of resarch and planning to come up with it though."

Ruri responds back, not only for Cougra, but Lion-O and everyone else as well. "It might as well become such a thing you are used to. It is though our teachings from our Lord Excellency, Aleaic Kerensky by name, that we learned that all that are of any worth, are supposed to be treated with more worth than they are used to.

It's our way to show great respect to the diversity of the many civilizations in the cosmos. Like it or not, we give those of respect, the label of Lord and Lady, in the same as one would do for a doctor or teacher. It's an ingrained habit for those of our Royal Family. Sorry if it's a bit much for you all here."

Hori then responds to Lynx-O. "Ours is called the Fold Drive, powered by Zero-Point energy cores, using the very energy of the limitless fabric of this universe, as a limitless energy resource. We can travel to any point in the universe, with only a moment between origin and destination.

Such has also allowed us to continue our task as the Guardianship over this Dimension, as was wished of us, by those that helped us with almost every aspect of our society and civilization, from the start."

Ruri decides to add in.. "My husband means the Ascendants. A race of beings not unlike very large Griffons that are well over a billion years in age, and in fact were ascended to a higher plane of existence, until relatively recently, when they returned from that state, to apparently assist us in the annal of great teacher, to very younger students.

It is through them, that our civilization has learned many of our advances in the past century. However we have also learned benevolence and honor through them, as well as our Excellency's wisdom, to be a magnanamous people.

We came here in part from that, to, silly as it may sound, make friends."

Hori adds to Ruri's words with more confident words. "Know that we are not perfect despite. But we did come to learn and help however we can. You ask for aid is not for naught.

The Ascendancy wishes to help be a future partner, along side whomever else you wish to call the same. Nation or individual alike."

Cougra and the others nodded in understanding and said, "We understand this. But it is more out of a sign of friendship that we wish you to call us these names. We understand friendship more than many races. It is the foundation of our power we even have a treasure known as the Chain of Loyalty which binds the highest Thundercats and with them the rest of our empire. I can say that Lion-O will most likely accept your alliance with us should you not prove yourselves to be distrustworthy. If you wish I can show you all of the Treasures of Thunderra each of which holds a secret power."

As Jirair landed the ship Lew jumped out of the ship. Jiriar shouted "Lew don't be an idiot!". Lew mental voiced back to him I won't I just wanna see who are going to be meeting with before you land. Lew allowed gravity to pull him down to the country faster but once he was at the right height he used the Force to guide him slowly down to the ground. He then saw a lion-like human standing over to the side looking at him. Lew bowed his head and said "I presume you are Lord Lion-O of the Thundercats. I am Jedi Knight Lew Wescolum and I am here representing the country of Wooshaba. My brother, President and Jedi Master Jirair Wescolum will be joining us soon. Jiriar landed the ship exactly where they had told him to land it. He hopped off of the ship and landed next to Lord Lion-O. He then presented himself. "I am Jiriar of Wooshaba. It is a honor to be here at your Cat's Lair. I apologize for my younger brothers entrance but he sometimes get a little excited." He held out his hand in friendship.

Ruri nodded. "Then we won't push." ..she then reacted to the offer to see some of the Thundercats most powerful treasures. She then nods. "It would be interesting to witness these artifacts.

After which, we'll show you our own sacred treasure."

Hori looks over at Ruri suddenly. "A bit open about that, should we so love?"

Ruri just smiles confidently, with a slight tilt forward of her head. "If they wish trust, where else to demonstrate the same with our own cherished bretherin."

Hori just anime exhales. "I hope we don't get a scolding later due to security."

Cougra laughed and said, "Good, follow me we will take you to the vault where the treasures of Thunderra lie." As Cougra stood up he moved to the center of the table he picked up the Mirror of Truth (http://www.cheezey.org/thundercats/treasure/mirroroftruth.jpg) saying, "This is one of such treasures known as the Mirro of Truth. This piece of the Treasure of Thunderra has the power to show the truth in what is reflected in it. Cougra then began telling of the Treasures, "The Book of Omens is probably the most important piece of the Treasure of Thundera. This is because the Book of Omens is the host to all of the secrets to the other Treasures and of the Thundercat Magic itself. It contains immeasurable knowledge about the Thundercats history and powers. The book itself is bound in a golden metal with three bindings and a clasp to keep it shut. The cover itself holds no text, only the Thundercat insignia. The pages are a shiny metal, engraved with much information about the other pieces of the treasure. That is not the Book of Omens' most valuable secret however. As well as being a wealth of textual information, it is also the gateway to another realm, a realm in which a sentient spirit, the Guardian of the Book of Omens, resides. This realm can only be accessed with the Sword of Omens to get in or out of the Book. Once inside, the secrets can only be unlocked with the Key of Thundera. The Guardian is unforgiving of those who might try to access the secrets of the Book of Omens unscrupulously and will summon fire-breathing serpents to destroy anyone who enters the book without holding it. The Guardian will not even admit the Lord of the Thundercats without the Key. The Bracelet of Power increases the power of a Thundercat to a point where they could match the power of even the Ancient Spirits themselves. The main link is one of the Thundercat insignia, and it is linked to images of all of the current Thundercats. The mystic magic of the Chain knows which Thunderians hold the title and the images and links change as the ranks of the Thundercats do. This chain, so long as it is intact, ensures through its magic that the Thundercats will always remain unified and work with one another. However if broken it carries a curse of equal weight that dooms the Thundercats to turn on one another and fight amongst themselves to the death. It is imperitave then, that this part of the Treasure of Thundera be kept away from those who would destroy it to revel in the destruction of the Thundercats, and to take care that it is not broken carelessly. This piece of the Treasure of Thundera dates back to a history so long ago that only the Guardian of the Book of Omens could tell exactly when it came from. It is a symbol of the rule of the Ancient Thundercats, and may even predate the use of the Insignia itself. The Ancient Flag of Thundera was one of the four relics used to restore New Thundera to its former glory, as told to Lion-O by the Guardian of the Book of Omens. This particular piece, when presented at the twenty-fourth hour, restored the Iron Forest to its glory as a beautiful evergreen woodland. The Flute plays music which grants the one who plays it the ability to control animals, including Snarfs. This piece of the Treasure of Thundera was part of the ruined signal tower of Old Thundera, located atop the Mountains of the Moon. The Gem Light was one of the four relics used to restore New Thundera to its former glory, as told to Lion-O by the Guardian of the Book of Omens. This particular piece, when presented at the twenty-fourth hour, restored the signal tower and the Mountains of the Moon to their natural state as they were on Old Thundera. The Golden Oar was one of the four relics used to restore New Thundera to its former glory, as told to Lion-O by the Guardian of the Book of Omens. This particular piece, when presented at the twenty-fourth hour, restored the Baleful Swamp (which, oddly, is also found on Third Earth) to the once beautiful lake it was before the destruction of Old Thundera. The Jade Dragon, also known as the Double-Headed Dragon of Doom, was not originally part of the Treasure of Thundera. It is a small but highly detailed statue made of jade that holds a terrible secret. The dragon statue originally came from a Third Earth Samaurai who entrusted it to Jaga after discovering the hard way that it was cursed with evil magic. The dark magic allows it to come to life and swallow living beings whole. Jaga kept it safe with the rest of the Treasure of Thundera prior to Old Thundera's destruction and the subsequent exodus, and made an entry for it, pictured above, within the Book of Omens. The Key of Thundera as explained before is the key that allows the holder to enter the Book of Omens without reprisal. The Tile From the Fountain, shown in its display case above, is the only intact piece from a beautiful and ancient fountain from the lovely gardens that once prospered on Old Thundera, before its destruction. The Tile From the Fountain was one of the four relics used to restore New Thundera to its former glory, as told to Lion-O by the Guardian of the Book of Omens. This particular piece, when presented at the twenty-fourth hour, restored the icy Caverns of Cold to the lush, fertile, flowered grounds that existed on that terrain on Old Thundera. The Thunderscope is a handheld telescope fashioned out of sturdy Thunderian metal and carved with designs of Old Thundera. The lens of the Thunderscope is magical and allows the Thundercats to see other pieces of the Treasure and other Thunderians that may be missing or they may be apart from. This piece of the Treasure of Thundera was found on Third Earth, in the wreckage of the ship the Thundercats landed there in after the exodus. The Totem of Dera is a luminous aqua colored stone set in a golden holder. This artifact of the Treasure of Thundera holds the power to heal any wound and cure any sickness. In fact, its healing power is so incredible that it can bring inanimate objects to life. The Totem of Dera was lost with the rest of the Treasure of Thundera when Old Thundera exploded, and was first recovered by the Thundercats' enemy Mumm-Ra the Ever-Living. He gave it to his underlings, the Mutants, who had Vultureman transform it into a gun and use it on Third Earth's Baleful Swamp to bring the poisonous swamp water to life. In the battle, Lord Lion-O's life was nearly lost but in the end the Thundercats were able to get the Totem of Dera back from the Mutants and heal Lion-O. So what do you think?"

Lion-O grasped his hand with a clawed hand saying, "Greetings it is fine I have heard of the Jedi although only rumours. As we understand you are great warriors. Will you follow me to the Conference Chambers?"

Ruri and Hori stood and looked at all the various artifacts of Thunderrran lore, as well as the lore behind it all. Ruri wondered if Cougra would have vocal problems after such a lengthy explanation.

Ruri comments.. "I imagine the history behind this 'twenty-fourth hour' is just as extensive as the history you have given so far.

But still it seems you have a continuation of old problems, despite such miracles."

Cougra replied, "Not as much as you would think. The twenty-fourth hour refers to the twenty-fourth hour after the treasure was revealed to Lion-O by the Book of Omens. Now I will tell you of these twin blades and my armor. The blades are named Sol and Luna each of which were forged from and inside the cores of Thunderra's Sun and Moon along with this armor. The blades give me a higher control of the powers we gain from the Sun and Moon which are our chief source of power. The magics of our people allow us to draw power from the celestial bodies and as such allow us to use their abilities and powers. In our tribe there are different sects that practice the use of the various celestial bodies. Thiis armor also gives me a personal control of the Sun and Moon. I am leader of our tribe because every sect draws some sort of power from the Sun and Moon. However I am one of many Lords since every sect has a Lord. Do you have any questions?"

Ruri nods.. "Your goverment. You mentioned sects with many lords. Does that mean your realm is governed like a monarchy of city-states, over many planets?"

Cougra laughed, "Kind of. Yes and no. See my tribe is part of the government but they still retain their own leaderships that always follow the Lord of all Thunderians. I am Lord of the Sun and Moon while there is a Lord of Black Holes and a Lord of Comets. However if you look in a system named Relkey there is a planet there that is lush and beautiful but at it's center lies a Black Hole. This is where the Black Hole sect lives and it is safe there only because of that sect. As for my sect we live on Thunderra. The tribe originally came from here but then we spread to increase our power and of course we always return to Thunderra. We are Lords but we still are not as important as the Thundercats and Lion-O."

Ruri again.. "So it's a system of clans, governing over different celestial elements, giving their strength and alegiance to Lord Lino-O. I imagine it's because of these artifacts that the alegiance finds such unity.

One of demonstrated trust in each other, and for your realm as a while. A realm of magic that is substantial atop of, gives a strong sense of spiritual belief, and all this combined forms a system of goverment that lends on each other for strength, and overall for the well being for the entire civilization."

Ruri smiles a bit more. "Our civilizations are very much compatible. More than just on terms where words are used."

Cougra smiled, "Yes you are correct and I imagine our compatibility is very good. However our combatibility with nations is best shown if we test their leaders. That is why the Mirror of Truth rests on that table. It will be used to test you should we chose to ally ourselves with you. This is only because we will not ally ourselves with anyone distrustworthy or evil. We have heard much of forces known as Chaos and Sith which deceives and destroys many innocent lives as well as nations. They are known to be of the highest evil by the Galactic Council. Snarf, Thundercat, Human, Mutant, and Third Earther all agree. This is why we take this precaution I'm sure you understand."

Ruri smiles continuously. (A habit she got picked up after decades of contact with Yurika, Akito, and others. Gaian optimisim was infectious.)

"Bring your test please."

Hori just reacted with a worried teardrop. ^_^;;;

Cougra laughed, "Well that will come in time. But till then let's try to have some fun and learn from each other."

Hori just claps once.. "Yes. Fun is so much better. Better than nasty tests and such."

Ruri just glances over. "You're no fun." Hori just slunks low for a tic.

Ruri then looks back. "Very well then. I think I promissed an item of regard of our own to show. If we can return to the original chamber, and I will demonstrate."

Thunder, thunder, thunder, thunder cats!!

Cheetara smiled, "Well don't be overly excited Hori the test will come it will just be delayed till Lion-O returns and the rest of our guests arrive." Cougra laughed, "Ah Cheetara don't scare them. Well if you have no more questions we will return to the Chamber." With that Cougra and the others departed to the Conference Chamber. Where they would arrive moments later.

Hori just looked uneasy as they all returned to the confernece chamber. As they arrived however, Ruri taps her wrist-comm unit.

"Commander, prepare to send over my Partner for a short welcome visit."

A 'WHAT' comes back over the comm, but Ruri restates. "Yes, I meant that. Now please. All will be fine."

It doesn't take long. By the time everyone is resettled, a teleport beam of soft white and blue shimmering light begins to form in the center of the meeting table. Not a very big beam, but one with an aura of 'power' within it.

As they say, small things can have awsome effects.

Hori meanwhile keeps moaning. "Lady Seto's going to have our heads."

Ruri just smiles, and in seconds, the beam finishes forming. However the light seems to 'grow', as the object teleported from the Core Unit of the Nadesico-Yamato arrives, with a kinseth's curiosity.

"Hey there. You're excited." Ruri says, leaning in a bit, towards a singular object that has no equal 'anywhere' in Existence.

A small Tree, about the size of a basketball, made of pure light, as a solid form. It floats in midair, surrounded in an aura of celestial light. An aura of a child's goodness and honest clarity eminating, as it senses around the chamber it arrived in. The Thunderrans can note that a bright 'pool' of reflected water, much like if it was a flat, two dimensional disc of sapphire, at the lower third of the thin trunk of the Tree.

It floats there, taking in the surroundings, while Ruri reaches over and makes a single petting motion, as if it were a cat.

Ruri then comments.. "Wiuld you like to meet our hosts Hadri?" ..which causes a small cascade of tiny light beams to shimmer out, as if in excitement.

Ruri then says more openly. "My Thunderrans, this is Hadri, my Hikari Tree Partner, and vessel of many things that anyone would call miracles."

The Tree keeps bouncing out harmless beams that feel more ticklish than anything, all the while Hori keep fidgetting like a kind wating for a principal to scold him for a 'bad' action on his part.

Cougra smiles as do many of the others. Panthro says with a look of awe on his face, "Is this a Tree from Jurai? I have heard stories of completely organic ships that instead of an AI or a computer core it has a sentient Tree."

Ruri looks up. "Actually there's several dimensional versions that exist of the world of Jurai. One is controlled by a nation called CoreWorlds. You'll meet them sooner or later.

I'm impressed you all know as much. You will do well in the cosmos."

Ruri looks down and pets the Tree once more. "Ours operate in essentially the same manner. Our Palace Trees across the Ascendancy, among the thousands of galaxies we govern and command, all have Alcoves that contain large numbers of Partnership Trees. If you indeed know of Jurai, then the Trees here are essentially the same.

The Partners, such as I and Hori here, join with a Tree, and create a symbiotic relationship that expands many horizions for both Tree and Partner. The main Host Trees are in our Capital Palace Tree, on our Homeworld of White Diamond/Sapphire. The First Triad Tree, the Hikari itself, is Parterned with our Lord Excellency, his three wives Tsunami, Arashi and Jennifer, First, Second and Third Lady Excellency respectively, and their daughters Isarra, Sirrana and Diana, also respectively to the mother.

What is inhereitly different about our Trees from Jurai Trees, is that ours are directly connected to the Subspace layers that govern Positive Elemental Energy, and also the Celestial Heavens themselves.

Our Trees are essentially angelic in origin, and the relationship is in every way a celestial one. The normal powers of the Jurai Trees, are more magnified by the Hikari Trees like this one."

Ruri then adds. "But it's not only Trees. The millions of Trees in Palaces all across the Ascendancy Sphere has allowed us to create a Treeship fleet that not only contains normal Warships, but also immense Shield Trees that can generate Angelhawk Wings that can defend up to fiften Ascendancy Fleet Legions. Hundreds of thousands of warships can be defended by them. They saw action recently too.

But more over, the Hikari Power, enhanced Jurai Power if you will, is expanded over all Ascendancy territories, by the will of the Excellency himself. It all sounds as powerful as it does, but it also is as benevolent as it shares. The Hikari Network, powered by the Hikari Power of millions of Partner Users, allows us a unique communication method, in addition to all the normal technological formats. It's one that is very hard to break into, and few can really. Jurai and Zohar Powers (the latter a form of Energy created by former enemies to combat the Hikari Power..) can listen in, but that's like the old ENIGMA machines on earth during World War II. You need codes to break into, and understand what's being said.

In a sense, the Hikair Power is the backbone of the health and security of the Ascendancy. However the Hikari Treeship Grand Fleet, well over 500,000 warships strong now, is only a part of the Ascendancy Republic Star-Fleet. Millions of Sphere and Allied vessels work together to create a powerful defense force for the good of this dimension as a whole.

I can assure you here and now, that our use and deployment of this special asset, is not for anything more than the goodwill of all know space."

Ruri then stops. "Wait. That didn't come out right."

Hori comments over.. "Goodwill for us, but safety and security for the rest of the universe. Enwhole?"

Ruri shrugs. "Well, at least the Trees don't like to attack others without reason."

Hadri just beams a 'affirmative' set of lightbeams all about.

Panthro said it first, "Impressive. Our intelligence is extensive and we have gathered a fair amount of knowledge about the evils of the Universe. Speaking of other planes I have recently heard rumours of a place called the Warp where the 'Gods' of Chaos live. Is there really such a thing? I mean we have heard of Chaos and seen it once but otherwise we have not much in the way of research or evidence. And also is there any alliane or nation that fights against their oppression?""

Ruri stops there, and actually looks a bit more reserved. After a moment mulling it over. "Hon?" ..she quips over.

Hori 'looks' at her.. "Oh gee thanks dear." ..he bemoans, and then takes a sigh to comment.. "Actually it's know to us, yes the Warp and Chaos with it exist. To be honest however, we never truly examined this phenomenon, as it's too... unseemly a method of travel and form of communication layer for us to use."

"We're more 'environmentally sensitive', so to speak." Ruri adds.

Hori continues.. "I do know of several nations that do use the Warp for travel and such. However the ones that usually use it, are more imperialistic in nature. The most prominent we have had dealings with, are the Chronosian Imperium. We have decent relations with them, however brief they have been, since they hold great power and respect amongst the elder nations of the cosmos in this universe.

Of those that fight them, there are nations if you choose to ask, but I would probably warn that your best advice for now is to build your own affairs up, before seriously combating such powers. The few times we've had to fight against any such power, has been less than successful for us.

Our history is paved with faliures, as much as successes after all."

Ruri does add. "There are several alliances that both use, and disdain from, in their member nations, that conduct affairs with each other, that involve the Warp."

Ruri does ask.. "Is this something of a problem with the enemies you have at this time?"

Lord Cougra gave a serious look saying, "They are somewhat of a problem since I have heard that they are more evil than even the Sith we have heard of this Chronosia and it's unspeakable acts on human life. As long as you do not follow them in their horrific mannerisms we will have no problems. It is understandable that some must have good relations with the dispecable in order o insure the survival of their nation and it's peoples. We are not as of yet worried about policing such evils but we do wish to know if you know of any alliance of people's or a sole nation that fight against the acts they commit against their own kind i.e. Humans many of which we have befriended. Is there a group which fights specifically against the tyranny of Chaos? Understand this is for our further knowledge of the cosmos and position of the tyrannical. we wish to know if there are others out there that would fight against such evils alongside us. I mean we know that the Jedi fight the Sith but we wish to know if there are any nations or forces that would fight Chaos."

Ruri takes a baseline approach to the answer to all that. "In the name of fighting chaos itself, in the overreach forms, we would be one of the forefront.

Indeed we maintain relations with Chronosia and other nations that use the warp and do such acts, because we understand all too well, the need for Balance in the Existence. Yes Chaos is terrible, and fighting it is just, but it has it's place, and good can be it's own evil if left unchecked.

The more focused question would be of Chaos, would be against outright forces of chaos that seek to disrupt all that stands to ruin the Balance, and plunge all into entropy."

Ruri stands taller. "We are indeed one of several that do this. Many a time against pure forces of such malevolence, have we stood against them. At present, we are standing against the forces of the actual Hell, or the Infernals, in a time of immense war across all of known reality in this Dimension."

Hori adds.. "Two months ago, the Ascendancy with it's Angelic Allies, stood against a massive invasion by the forces of the Infernal Horde Fleets, as they breached past the Genesis Barrer. The line where this universe passes into the moment of the Big Bang.

We failed in due part to the forces of a mirror 'Dark Ascendancy' that assisted the Infernal invasion, and then used the entropic power from the immense battle itself to empty Hell into this Dimension. As a result, the Eternal War, the One War, or any other name you may have for such, is raging across the entire Dimension as we speak.

At present, we have been recovering after suffering over eighty percent losses and casualties. We have been been forced to recover while the forces of Heaven emptied to combat the Infernal mass."

A moment of silence. Ruri finishes. "You may mean if we fight against specific nations against chaos. But we were created by our Excellency's vision to fight the forces that would tear 'all' existence apart. There are scales of adjustment we must stare down, and we stand against the greatest of all, rather than individual nations.

We could offer names of other nations that can maybe answer the question better for us, such as the Humankind Abh and others, but our focus is the Guardianship of this Dimension, at the cost of combatting much smaller threats, relatively speaking."

Ruri looks down. "We not perfect. There is no such thing. The best judge of your question would be of others, done from yourselves. Others will surely come, and to them you can ask."

Hori comments level.. "It's not mainly about destroying chaos, but being able to stand up against it as an equal, that usually deters the worst of mass atrocities. If Chaos could simply be switched off, it could.

Rather it's another facet of the universe that has to be lived with. We had to accept that a long time ago. We're sorry if that isn't what you wanted to hear.

But we 'do' stand as able to help where we can. At present, we can focus on the 'smaller' issues, and not the vast one that bears down on all life in this Dimension."

A being appeared in a corner of the room where he leaned against the wall with his wings folding in. By this time he had chosen the appearance of a being clad in an organic Jet Black and Metallic Blue colored armor with a glistening silver katana at his side. His eyes were fire red while the backs of his eyes were black. As well he wore a blood red cape about his shoulders. He spoke, "Ah it has been so long Admiral Ruri. I'm sure you wouldn't remember me after having been allied with my nation once upon a time. As for your relations with it now I am not sure. And the answer to your question young Thunderian is this god is of no threat to you as of yet or in the conceivable future. Also the alliance to which you refer is the Imperium of Man. You Gaians would probably enjoy examining that struggle." He stepped forward closer to the table and stretched out flexing his black angelic wings. He laughed, "I thought I'd say howdy and meet the Thundercats of which I have seen many of their exploits." He bowed to the Lord Cougra and the rest of the Thundercats. He then sat down at the table opposite from the Gaian Diplomats. He then smiled which looked truly daemonic yet serene and angelic at the same time and said, "Oh by the way you can call me Mercer. I am Ronwe and in no way representing the Imperium. In fact I am just here for some recreation. As to how I got in here so swiftly well I and the rest of my kind are Guardians of Time, Space, and all the Dimensions. We prevent these Chaos Gods from interfereing directly usually through mortal tools. As such we have the power to do many things normal beings cannot."

The signal came forth as the great vessel, the Pestilant Pleasure tore into being above the world; it's tormented cry echoing down upon Thunderra, even as the ship steadied; paused, and lay still.

In the name of the Almighty Emperor, God-Emperor of all Mankind; Soverign Ruler of the Galactic Empire and Scion of the Ruinous Powers; Remiel De Drakan; I come in the name of peace and prosperity, that we may gain from alliance and unity. Requesting permission to land; by the will of Gods and God-Emperor; by the unholy fury of the Warp; and the power of the abyss.

The Thunderian Spaceport sent a message to the two ships. The woman came over the comm again first to the Seaquestarian vessel, "Greetings you can dock your vessel in Port 843 and here are the co-ordinates fro the Landing Pad at the Cat's Lair. Lord Lion-O is currently entertaining a few other diplomats in the conference chamber and an escort security detail will take you to the Conference Chambers." With that said the comm then witched over to the Chronosian Force, "Greetings diplomats of Chronosia. I feel I should remind you no violence of any sort will be tolerated while you are on Thunderra. You may dock in Port 234 the Landing co-ordinates are being sent to you right now for the Cat's Lair. You will follow the security detail to the Conference Chambers."

Lion-O came in and greeted the newly arrived guest and said, "Please take a seat President." Cougra then quickly brought Lion-O back up to speed. Lion-O then smiled, "Well welcome John Mercer. Also it seems we will be having a few more diplomats joining us. Diplomats from both the Chronosian Imperium and from the Seaquestrian government are arriving as we speak. While this stuff does disturb us this is neither the time nor place to discuss it. It would be more appropriate for our Intelligence Networks to discuss. All that need be said is that we have noticed a good many evils around the greater cosmos and that there are many conflicts between the good and evil elements. We wish to know later on what kind of dangers we could face. Even now such an evil arrives but in the interest of our people we will try to establish good relations with them."

The Duckbill descended from the 2,100 meter long SeaQuestian ship and entered the atmosphere en route to the designated landing pad.

Half-Hour Later...

The Duckbill touched down and her port air-lock slid open. The two SeaQuestian officers stepped out.

Mercer smiled and laughed while leaning back in his chair, "Well you are right Admiral. I am a Lower Power certainly not as high as the Creator but higher than many of the angel choirs and as for being a Dark Angel not so much I am both an agent of light and darkness. My job is to make sure both sides do not interfere too much. I deal more with evil than good for evil tries to interere more. And Lord Lion-O it is good to meet you I am here more as a casual observer than to do anything. As well I intend to answer any questions you may have about the Imperium of Man. Anyhow it is good that Chronosia came so they can answer any questions you may have of them. I do not know as much as needed to speak of them as an expert. However I can say they are fearsome and formidable warriors it would be in your best interest to stay on their good side."

Ruri was petting Hadri, and only commented to Lion-O... "Being in the cosmos is dangerous. But the rewards can be worth it all in the end."

Violence? Why should we resort to violence when we have already stated our honorable intentions. I truly hope this is merely a blanket warning; or we shall feel...Very hard done by The crooning, choking voice echoed over the communications arrays as the thunderhawk slid from the belly of the Pestilant Pleasure plunging, enrapt like a pheonix aflame through the atmosphere; it's hull adorned with countless sigils and signs; most notably those of Nurgle, and the 8 pointed Star; mark of the Ruinous Powers of the Chaos Gods.

It felt the ground shudder beneath its feet; and with definite effort; the doors swung open; hinges bleeding with rust and seething with strengthening corruption. The entire vessel seemed to shake and shudder as the great form advanced; the juggernaut; the horrifying form of Lucian, Lord of Nurgle; Master of Pestilance, Plaguelord of the Imperium; and High Diplomat. Phlegm and pus stained his armor a darker shade of green; dried blood was wrought upon it in horrific tableau; flies and insects swarmed across his armor before; as though by silent command, joining into the writhing pestilence of the cloak that billowed about him; seeming to be constructed of flesh and death itself.

He glanced around; diseased flesh and blazing eyes gazing through the eye-holes in the helmet; his mouth twisting into a cruel smirk. "So; this is it? This is the new power emerging in the Galaxy? My Emperor, you have outdone yourself..." He whispered to himself as he surveyed "Always chosing the most...Interesting of situations"

Lion-O smiled, "I'm sure they are and I will be very interested in seeing the rewards we could reap. And the other diplomats have arrived and they will be escorted up here shortly I believe these will be the last of the diplomats unless we get some more impromptu diplomats. Which I don't discourage. I in fact welcome any and all diplomats."

On the landing pad a security escort of heavily armed soldiers arrived where the diplomats were standing. They were the Cat's Lair's Lionguard whose duty it was to defend the Lords of Thunderra. The lead guard spoke to the diplomats, "If you will follow me I will escort you to the Conference Chambers." With that the Lionguard turned and began walking back to the Conference Chambers inside the Cat's Lair.

OOC: I am sorry Thunderra but I am not going to be able to do this rpg. I still want to be allies so I am going to make amends ok.

IC: When Jiriar and Lew arrived in the conference room they had to be quick. They needed to get back to Wooshaba because they didn't know what could happen. Jirair gave Lion-O one of his many lightsabers as a sign of allianceship. Jirair told him that they would also be allies as long as this lightsaber stayed intact. Jirair and Lew bowed their heads and left the building. Lew said "May the Force be with You." As they boarded their ship Jirair sent a message back to Den saying that they were ok. They launched from Thunderra.

Lady Ruri and Lord Hori were infomed of the arrival of a Chronosian delegation.

"Speak of the devils." Ruri make a light comment of. She then looked hard at Lion-O. "Milord. Whether you are personally comfortable for the delegation about to arrive, know this as wisdom from another vetran civilization.

Treat with respect and do not act rashly. Not because of fear, but because you are hosts, and they are guests. Just as we are.

Do not insult, where you would not wish the same. There are more civil ways to deal with even the darkness. However we stand as a stronger voice to lean on if warranted. Do you understand Thunderrans." ..finished with a serious tone, but not a chiding one.
