The Clawed Hand of Peace (Attn GFFA, CW)

The Empire had passed into a new era; an era that would no longer tolerate the annoyances of the Thrashian rebellion, that would no longer bow to the petty religious squabbles of the Sith and the Jedi. No. Now; they would bow to the will of a single man; a man who gazed forth and saw the countless skiens of probability and possability; who sought to steer the alliance through this dark time. This malignant time of treachery and wickedness. To forge them anew as something to be respected, feared and awed.

An empire to last a thousand centuries; to endure till the suns burned out over it's worlds, and the galaxy slumbered. They were among the last of the Great alliances; the last legacy of an era of war and conquest; a great Imperial Age, drawing to a close. They would choose evolution and change over silent death.

The Message went forth; a vast beacon to the nations of the GFFA; to their lords and Leaders. To those who directly opposed Imperium and Empire in support of the Rebel Thrashians. While Nightshade was on her way forth to meet her kin once more; this message came forth; booming across space, across time; from the great gilded ship that slid across the velvet tapestry of the void; the Ecstacy of Slaanesh; Flagship of the Emperor.

Respected Lords of the Free Alliances. What can I offer you, you wonder, from the halls of Coruscant? Palpatine is dead; Nightshade deposed...And so it is that I come to rule upon the Black Throne; that I lead the Empire from the Imperial Palace. That I hold the twin jewels of the Capitals. At this very moment, Fiona Masaki, known and feared by you as the Lady Nightshade is on her way to Jurai; the capital-in-exile of the Masaki Clan. I know this, because I sent her; she who also knows the location. I send her not in malice, not on some cruel whim; but to propose...the Reunification of the Core Worlds. I also send myself forth, in hopes of establish a ceasing of hostilities between our alliances. Your support of your Thrashian allies is admirable, but their task is accomplished, and I would not wish to see you continue a war that would ultimately lead, not only to your destruction, but our destabilisation.

As such, I shall meet with you; at a location of your choosing; unarmed; simply to state my terms; to hear your views; and to propose an end to this war. A state of affairs that, I am sure, shall benefit us both. I advise you to accept though. I offer my hand in peace freely; you would not wish to turn aside the gesture of an honorable man, now; would you? A final trifling; tell the boy Daniel that we are even now; he has been killed by an Emperor, and an Emperor has had him killed; and that my brother and nephews send their love and regards with my dear Sister-in-Law.

All that was sent in return from the Azahans was a short message with seemingly hundreds of people laughing.

Neo Zeta had still felt they had ties with Chronosia. It was they who saved them in The Republic Wars. The only reasion they aided the rebels in they had hoped for Chronosia to join them. With that hope gone and the rebels defeated Neo Zeta wished for peace. Many in the G.F.F.A to keep the war going. Yet some of the other members wished for peace even if it was for a short time.

To avoid the embarsment of the last meeting Praetor Rei would only allow some members to attend

To make sure these meetings stay civil the nations of The Humankind Abh,Coreworlds, Neo Zeta and Azaha will be the ones allowed to represent The G.F.F.A in these meetings. Others will need the permission of Chronosia however they wont represent the G.F.F.A The message was sent to the members of the G.F.F.A as for the meeting place she would allow Chronosia and Coreworlds work that out since they were the two biggist players at this meeting.

In reply to the Azahan message was sent a recording of the death of Azaha Prime, audio and visual, along with choice cuts of Azahan torture victims and the sensory recordings of the Azahan slave purges; followed by the depraved laughter of each and every Chronosian Slaanesh worshipper as they took pleasure from their God in the act of sensual, languid genocide.

In response to the Zetans; the Imperium had agreed to the arrangement; providing the Azahan delegate had recovered; and was presumably muzzled. In direct response, their precise words were as followed.

We agree on all counts; providing that the slave-whelp holds his tongue. We respect all our allies; save the rebellious wretches; for they will accept no peace or offer of our kind; generous as we are...

Again in responce, a picture of the late Brother-Captian Ricaud was sent, the hero and savior of the Azahan people standing triumphantly over the corpses of Chronosian troops.

On a different delegation branch, a responce was sent to the call of a meeting.

"We will come to this meeting, only to prove the vial worms cannot be trusted. To show this 'generosity' to only be a quick death for the alliance should we sign this peace treaty."

"Ah, Ricaud; he died on his knees like a Dog...A fate that, gladly, your alliance shall not suffer. We come to this meeting only to seal our old pacts between nations; our goodwill to the Masaki's should serve as a symbol of our desire to end this pointless conflict. We do not dwell on the past; when worlds were destroyed and populations raped; and heroes brought screaming to their knees; the Emperor fights for a grander Empire; a greater Good. Know this, and tremble; for we are far more tolerant and honorable, and indeed, stronger.

The listening posts were active once more. In the days following the return of the Ascendancy to D-3 dimensional space, their previous array of communication stations and outposts, were quickly reinforced by a vast array of self-deployable, Comm-Orbs. Essentially a basketball sized orb of incredibly miniaturaized isolenear and celestial based technologies that outpaced the mortal counterparts by two hundred percent in efficency.

That transmission, reception, dissimination, and compiling of all communication signals was dealt with in a manner not easily equatable by other mortal nations.

That meant unless the Ascendancy chose to not heed a signal, which usually was done if it was private in nature and not a direct threat to Sphere security, it was sent to the Communication Apexes, or simply major telecomunication centers that were rediculously fast.

The Excellency was a techy freak after all. Plus it made the Ascendancy well aware of most signals, even in code, that mattered.

The messages here were one version of why this was all explained in the first place. Sooner or later, the Eternal War might drag in the GE, G.F.F.A, and Replublic, mutually into the war wheter any of them liked it or not.

Either way, the Ascendancy needed to know where the other nations priorities lay.

In the grand chamber of St.-Mere-Abelle, Father Abbot Fio Buoraiy stood staring at the red stained glass window of the mother abbey. There in the center was depicted the mummified hand of St. Avelyn Debris. He stood there with his one arm fishing around in his gemstone pouch.

Marcalo De'Unnero strode into the chamber in his brown robe. The man with his natural scowl painted on his face neither bothered to look at the window or greet the Father Abbot properly. "You sent for me Fio Buoraiy?"

The Father Abbot shot him a scowl but De'Unnero only grinned. Finally giving up, the Father Abbot went on. "You are to go to a planet called Tatooine where you will take part in a diplomatic talk of utmost importance to the Empire."

The master looked incredulous. "You can't be serious!" Rage began to build within the man. "I am a master of the Abellican Church not a diplomat to be used by the Abh!"

The Abbot patted the his hands in the air to calm the volatile man. "Yes, yes I know but you mustn't forget how our church came to its actual being. Don't forget that the Church had fled D'Hara from the Sisters of the Light so that we may have more freedom with our ways. We were never oppressed but the Emperor has allowed us the ability to spread our church throughout the Empire. We do so by his good graces. Never forget that brother."

The master grunted. Seeing no further arguments coming along, the Abbot continued. "An Abh ship, most likely a military one, will arrive to pick you up. Be on it."

With every bit of sarcasm, the master bowed. "Yes Father Abbot." And then turn and left.

Within the hour, a Victory Class Destroyer slid from a jump gate in Hyperspace to pick up the Abellican master. He would be arriving at Tatooine in a few short moments.

Praetor Rei boarded a Exitus Class Star Destroyer that had docked with the moble G.F.F.A Capital. She brought along some aids and other diplomatic staff as well as a few guards.

The ship set coarse for Tatooine and entered Hyperspace. Once in Hyperspace Rei looked out of a window knowing this could change the History of the GE and G.F.F.A today. Hell it could change the history of the entire Mortal Realm.

Upon the barren surface of Tattooine; a vast barge moved across the sands; hovering; adorned in gold, and all manner of luxuries. Sprawled upon vast cushions and silks that adorned his seat; Remiel gazed out; devoid of regal armor; devoid of malign intent; lain; bare chest gleaming in the sunlight, already shimmering in golden-brown splendor; jewels and sigils dancing on golden chains about his neck, while the loose robe he worse; ending in a kilt about his legs, draping them in delightfully teasing fabric; fell about him in scarlet folds of beauty.

He looked skyward; a drink handed to him soothing his lips; as he gazed upwards; smiling lightly. "So they arrive" He murmured between sips, turning to whisper something into the ear of a female slave; causing her to giggle. Above him, living beings struggled, impaled; wreathed in wires; the ichors of their pain and sensation slowly being bled out of them, to season his wine and other drinks; tubes punctured flesh, feeding into needle points that bit his skin, feeding him with a constant stream of slowly formed drug; while the ichors of his own body, the poisons of his own flesh, was softly forced into them. One convulsed; blood leaking down his bare torso, pouring from his mouth; a red droplet breaking the monotonous sea of Remiel's flesh; the slave lowering her mouth to lap it up; her tongue playing across his perfect flesh.

"Let them come.." He whispered, speech fading into a moan as he turned his gaze to Turel, who stood nearby. "Make sure my Guard are ready; alert me to any arrivals....All my life, I have sought an end to these conflicts; a peace that benefits my...Glorious Reign...I shall have it."

Out in the blackness of space, an organeous void tears open and reveals one of the Empire's finer destroyers. The Victory glided out at perfect ease carrying Marcalo De'Unnero from St.Merre-Abelle.

The monk stayed in his quarters praying and meditating while he waited for the commander of the ship to inform him of their arrival. There he rested with both legs crossed and bag of gemstones beside him while the Abh commander sent down a communication.

This is the Victory from the Abh Empire. I have the diplomat that is here to take part in the discussions with your nation. I request coordinates so that he may dropped off at the most convenient location.

This message penetrated into the deepest depths of the void, filling every solar system, every asteroid, and every gutted hulk from wars long forgot with its message of freedom. And even on its grand mission, it deemed itself so to dip into the tiny realm of the Galactic Inferno, one torn by war and hate.

Across the oceans of Haven and the deserts of Sanctuary, the few remnants of government infrastructure recieved the call. This was a situation, something that must be adressed. And for a short time, a senate was called once again in the halls of Sanctuary Center. All who had survived the pains of the war were brought for a meeting.

For even though this was a clan war, they were still a nation. The will of an external threat such as this was enough to make them lay down their arms, if only for a moment.

The debates were long and repetetive. Arms were routinely drawn, and several senators withdrew in protest. Two even entered into honorable duel, one returned. It was a long and tedious process, as were most No Endorse legal debates, but an accord was struck.

Two delegates would be sent, one from each side. They would negotiate peace, at least one until the internal conflict was over. When that happened, they would reconvene. The Senators then fled to hiding, fearing for their lives.

A single transmission was sent to the Empire:

We shall be there. Two delegates from the two factions, Day and Night. It is for you to choose who is who.

A small frigate entered the Tatooine system, hypermatter streaming off its surface as the jump gate closed. It made its way to the planet, and prepared to land.

In a rare showing outside of ally circles, the Jedi Master Yanosuke Masaki, uncle to Daniel, younger son to Alex, has been slated to attend this meeting. The fifty-year old father of three is an accomplished diplomat and was once the Secretary of State to his elder brother. Now, he's the GFFA ambassador from Jurai.

In a flash of psuedomotion, the CSD Empathy reverts to realspace over the desert planet of Tatooine. The twin suns bore down on the planet, forever baking it to the point of barely supporting life. And yet, life lives on. Especially sentient life.

The Jedi Master, with a small entourage of aides and apprentice diplomats, prepares to descend onto the planet in a shuttle. And prepares to make...peace with whom the Coredians have fought many years for, shed oceans of blood to defeat...peace with the Empire.

Rei's ship came out of Hyperspace and entered Orbit of the world. She looke down at the brown world. She dressed well in her Admirals Unform. She made sure her saber would come with her on this in case the new Emperor wished to try a underhanded attack. Today peace chould be made and end the long wars that have gone on for fare to long or be the start of the War to End them. Either way this would be the begianing of the end of the wars.

Helion's mind reached out and touched the strands of fate belonging to the GFFA ambassadors. He twisted, reaching into them, delving into their secrets. Smiling, the Hand of Tzeentch withdrew. Very interesting. I shall watch these precedings carefully...

Emerging from the shadows, the Warmaster took his place by Remiel's side. His lip curled slightly at the waste of energy that went into the manufacture of the Slaaneshi's current addiction, but turned his mind from such an irrelevant matter.

"My lord Remiel. It is an honor to meet you. I trust your empire is being ruled justly, oh wise one?"

Even now they seek to wage war on me; but tame the serpent and its brood will no longer sting; if they break the honor we establish here; we will deal with them like Catachan Devil's, burn them out; and leave no ground to run to" A wry chuckle.

"How fares the Khurganate; noble Helion? Look how our little friends descend to meet me; look how they present themselves before the Emperor; watch how they will curtsey and bow and respect. A slight knock on the iron door shook the monk from his trance. None too happy. "What is it?"

The door slid open to reveal the commander of the ship. The Abh didn't bother to wait for an invitation but merely walked in. "It is time. The shuttle is prepped and ready to take you down to the planet."

De'Unnero huffed and hopped off the bed. He hook the pouch around his sash and followed the commander out the door. In five minutes the monk was in the shuttle and heading down to the planetside to meet with whoever would lead the discussions.

The No Endorse frigate (http://i11.photobucket.com/albums/a161/anomaly149/LineFrigateA10.jpg) could not deploy a shuttle to land on the surface, as it could not carry one inside. It briefly negotiated with system control, and went down for a landing on the endless sands. The craft landed lightly, the dust swirling around it as if they were the spirits of the Gods.

Two figures came out, moving towards the group. One a man, lightly dressed and walking powerfully, viewing the area almost with contempt. The other a woman, or at least what appeared to be. She was covered from head to foot in a long flowing robe, the hood pulled low over her face.

They waited in line patiently for their turn, standing slightly apart. There was tension between them, two delegates from two warring parties. They had come out of a promise of external peace, Internally, they both wanted the other faction destroyed.

Smiling, Helion cocked his head, his long blond hair falling to cover one eye.

"Ah. It appears our guests have arrived. Someone must be there to greet them, it might as well be me. After all, this planet is dreadfully boring. Nothing but sand. And sand. And oh, we mustn't forget the sand!"

With a flash of warpfire, Helion vanished, to be replaced by a rather small firewyrm, which slithered off out of sight.

"It was quite pleasent actually. Unfortionatly, the company wasn't agreeable, but then again, they don't let me out much." Her eyes lit up as she said that last part, a maniacal gleam entering into them. "They don't like the art of weapons design."

'Crazy bitch...' the man mumbled, trying the cliche and ancient, yet completly ineffective trick of disguising it in a small cough. "The voyage was excellent. Imperial agents directed us strait here and pirates gave us no trouble at all. It is a rarity for any area to be free of disruption nowadays, the men on sector patrol should be proud of their accomplishment. I... ah... am wondering how the Emporer would like to see us? Rising, draped in silks and gleaming with gold against bronzed skin, Remiel's voice cuts through the bickering of the delegates. "I will have no quarrel here; even now my men die before your troops for no reason; and your worlds bear mothers who will never again see their sons" He rises, and moves forward; slaves bowing their head to their towering, perfect master.

"I am Remiel; Lord of Empire and Imperium; you are here at my request; my calling; and yet still you attack me. Not even a ceasefire can be called with you craven dogs." He spits to one side. "Now; I will have no argument; I will have our discussion; our terms; our peace. I will not tolerate further bloodshed when the Empire is reformed; when the Thrashian rebels are bound in chains of peace; and yet you defy me. I want answers; expanation....I wish to know why; and what your plans are?"

He gestures, and a slave comes forth, bound; tormented, bearing water; he pauses, regarding it; the servant whimpering as his power fills her; driving her to her knees as he raises the pitcher to his lips and drinks deeply; throat pulsing; water cascading over his lips and down his chin as he watches them.

Remiel gestured lightly; energy crackling between his fingers; his eyes blazing with warp-fire as he stared down the Clan Leader; lips twisting into a cruel smirk. "One more word from you without my permission; and the atrocities of the se madmen will be nothing next to the atrocities I will perpetrate against your flesh, your mind; even your soul..."

"This is my meeting; these are my rules; I shall not tolerate insolence and insubordination at this most important of events. We have external traumas to deal with; your internal ruminations can wait..."

"Then you shall have the peace, if you can also keep your own allies from sniping at us from behind the curtains of this treaty." Yanosuke said noting the smile from before. "Jurai will of course welcome non-aggression and peace between the peoples of the Galaxy."

"Of course it shall; always has Jurai been reknowned for its piety and conscience; its taking in of strays of many a color and creed. But still; we welcome any peace between the sons of Juria and the sons of Chronosia" A smirk, feral and foreboding crossed his perfect lips. "And what of the rest of you? Shall you pay your reparations; accept our peace and stay the hand of your alliance? The last thing we wish is for both to be destroyed in the flames of war. No. We must be strong; moral; flexible to the desires and wishes of others."

With a great rip, and a loud snap, the large shuttle pulled its way through the immaterium to real space. The shuttle was large, the size of most other state's frigates, gothic ridges and arches comprising most of the architecture.

Onboard was a contingent of Grey Knights and Inquisitorial stormtroopers. These were the guards for the two Azahan diplomats to these proceedings. One was High Inquisitor Ruckon, the other was a representative of the Machine Cult and the general administration and populous of Azaha.

The ship screamed towards the surface of Tatooine, and made docking arrangments for the desert outside of the meeting place. The ship was simply too big to dock anywhere closer. From there a small shuttle took the two diplomats, and four squads of Grey Knight Terminators, the best of the Grey Knights, to the proper meeting place.

Upon arrival, they would keep to themselves until the preceedings took place.

"And now the Azahans arrive. Greetings" Remiel bowed his head lightly. "We are quite glad that you have come; we had almost given up on expecting you. Tell us, how fares Azaha? How fares the space you usurped from us, and that we shall allow you to peacefully keep, so long as you cease this fools war; this idiotic war-mongering. It serves no purpose than to keep the Galaxy ridden with war and hate; to keep us divided, instead of United..."

Laughter now; then nothing; no speech, simply the glory of the Emperor; the dark perfection that Slaanesh offered; this being who had defied death; this monster who had rent woman's flesh asunder and been reborn; not as he was, but as he should be...Not plopped into the materium as the young Masaki; but forced into it; defined by his power and his will...A dark conquerer of Worlds; a malignant crusher of systems; a hated tyrant of the Four Powers...Their Chosen...Their Scion.

Ruckon seemed to have to keep himself from spitting on Remiel as he walked up. He stood his ground some five feet from Remiel, and glared through eyes of hatred, a passionate hatred burning with the intensity of a thousand suns.

"We are here to break this agreement before it gets started, heathen." he growled, then walked past Remiel, grumbling all the way.

Praetor Rei has listened to the talks and spoke " Peace is what we all want. Some want it in diffrent ways. However the peace you offer is a good peace. Many of our member nations want peace but they just wish to be assured you will not brake your agreement when attacking best fits you. I myself have worrys about this. "You have my word; you have our bonds in non-aggression; signed by myself and signed by you; that our alliances may prosper and grow; and not know the terrible war brought on by Thrashian foolishness...I do, however, have one request. That all fighting about the Outer Rim cease; that the besiegements of our fleets and world be stopped; and that a delegate of the 'Horde' be brought to negotiate terms for the surrender or salvation of that world....Regardless; all conflict must end. From the doorway, as Ruckon was speaking, the true Azahan Delegate stepped into the room. "Would you hush it. This is no time for your maniacal speaches. We are here to be political."

Hardly impressed, the master had a natural scowl painted on his face as he let his arms fall to his side and then clasped his a wrist in his hand behind his back. "I care nothing about you or your people and I need no bravado to impress the nation that I represent, only to complete the task and then begone."

As if on a second thought, the master spoke up again. "Oh there is one other thing. The Clan Leader was completly taken aback, more by the warpfire than anything else. He was of one of the more traditional and ancient clans, and so was much more superstitious than most. He quickly regained composure, and with a stunned 'As you wish, Lord Remiel,' began to slink away from the center of attention.

Elizabeth smiled a little, chuckling at Dransk's plight. She was enthralled by Remiel's ability to summon warp energy at will. To be able to control the power of the Warp... a fearsome power indeed.

She had stayed heavily robed at the edge of the crowd, and was uninterested in saying anything unless it was necessary.

However, a spark of intense longing had ignited in her. She wanted to be part of chaos now, enough that she could taste it. She had heard rumors of the power of Chaos and its followers, and an intense envy burned within her.

However, she had a job to do. She would do it here and now. There would be time enough later to explore such desires.

De'Unnero smirked. "Please do not speak words that I already know. If you believe my religion holds little sway then you can agree to stay out of the organization's way. It was not started by the Abellicans but we have supported it therefore that is why I have made the demand.

As far as everything else, I pledge myself only to the church and my God. But since I have no desire to be here or among present company, let's get on with this."

Remiel bellowed laughter. "I am grander than you can fathom; you are things of meat and metal; but no mind; no true mastery of powers that benefit our race! I was created to be Perfection! The first Son of the Imperium; the Grand Primarch! The Warmaster! I was engineered to be perfect; but the flawed hands of my father were not enough! Slaanesh granted me that perfection; the power you envy and loathe! If all the Imperium were ashes and dust you would squabble like craven whores for the trinkets of our glories!"

He had reared up, like an angered serpent, dust seeming to flicker about him, the ground disturbed by invisible arcs of power. "I invite you here to end a war that will lead to the damnation of us both, and you refuse to meet our simple demands; demands we set forth and moments ago you complied to! Your arguments are as fickle as the winds! Your demands and compliances come and go like shadows! Do not think I will tolerate trickery..." He snarls, gums drawn back from teeth, eyes alive with warp-flame, dancing with malice and teeming with rage.

"You wish to squabble over reparations; let us. But we shall gain something from this travesty; from your unjustified assault upon us; from the war that rages and consumes the outer rim! From your green puppets who fall upon us with Godulan trickery at their backs, and Miehmish troops as their meat shields! Tell me then, who is on the offensive! Tell me then who meddles in affairs beyond their scope! Call off your dogs and submit to our peace; end this fools conflict; built of a fools dream and fuelled by fools who think that the galaxy can be more ordered and pure than it is! There can be no change; no absolute victory, for a shadow cannot exist without light; nor light without darkness. There can only ever be balance; compromise, as we are forced to do here....Play your moralities and your aesthetics all you will; but you cannot deny the truth of the universe...That each side has its opposite. Elizabeth spoke up, an extreme rarity for her. Fully knowing the fact that she would be sunburnt to a crisp in mere minutes, she shed the hood, bowing down before the Emporer. She was not fazed by the expression of warp fire, and unlike the hapless Clan-Leader, was not trying desperatly to not have a heart attack.

"Lord Remiel, please excuse my lack of tack in this matter, my diplomatic experience is little. They do not tend to teach weapons designers in the intricacies of politics and diplomacy, at least not at the level that the others at this meeting are in."

She straitened back up, her extremely pale skin glaring in the intense light. Even now one could almost see the effects of the fierce Tatooine sun on someone who had lived the past ten years in dimly lit corridors.

"However, I believe the reparations have been quite well paid in the form of our own casualties in that foolish battle. And in the form of the destruction ofthe home planet of Thrashia.

You may demand reparations, but No Endorse will not be able to pay them. Yet another foolish war has engulfed our nation, the second in twenty years. We have not yet fully recovered from the last one. What little a small nation like us controls is being needlessly and thoughtlessly squandered over such a paltry question as whether non-humans should be allowed to vote, to go to school, or to live there.

The only reparations we can offer are words. I am devoted to my nation's stance of peace, even if it makes my trade somewhat dull." She began to direct her words around herself. "Any man here who would stand in the way of peace is more than welcome to step aside with me."
