Amorah City, Khorjan Empire (12/13)

It was night, and the small city of about a hundred thousand was silent. It was the seventh night of the Amorah Revolution, and both sides grew weary. The Khorjan Empire, formed in 1932, had once been a mighty empire, however since the civil wars of the 1990s Khorjah had been diminished to almost a third-world country. Khorjah was since ruled by an absolutist government surrounding the Sarjan Family, which was heavily influenced by the small upper class, which made up of less than 1% of the population. Led by the Amorah Liberation Front (ALF), the people rioted in the many cities dotting Khorjah, including the several Japanese colonies abandoned by Japan after World War II. The rioting was successful and the weak Khorjan army was defeated by guerrilla groups and militant civilians, and these groups later came to surround the royal family and what was left of the Khorjan army at their estate in Amorah City.
The family, except for Emperor Rahman Ajoura III, had surrendered and fled to the nearby North Pacific, and the end of the Khorjan Empire was near. At exactly 11 pm, the ALF stormed through the gates of the estate and defeated the exhausted Khorjan soldiers upon entering the actual residence. Once in side, they reached the third floor of the residence and entered the main office, where they shot and killed the Emperor. With his death, the Khorjan Empire was dissolved and a new state would be built over the land to be called Amorah. In a matter of hours, the leader of the ALF, Kali Melekhaf, announced that the country would be led in a democratic direction. No more has been said on the future of the country, however, it is known that one of the goals of the ALF is to establish a democracy led by a president, presidential council, and senate that included the former Japanese colonies of the south.
