Fer the first time in ought forty years, I 'ave made me return ter me native shores and reclaimed the crown that be rightfully mine. In doin' such, as me first act o' me continued reign o' time immemorial, I be openin' the doors o' me country fer embassies an' fer trade.

The Isle o' Cadwaladr actually be a chain o' islands, located in the Kraken Islands region. We be on the northern end o' those islands, an' our main island be mostly dominated by the Innish marshes, a huge delta that takes up most o' the land there. As such, it be the breadbasket o' the region, wit' many an Innish lime tree an' wild rice growin' in the marsh, an' the rest o' the land used ter grow grains more like to wheat, hops, soy, an' corn. The Marshes also provide fer Innish Kane, which be used ter make Innish Rum, considered ter be one o' the most potent drinks in all this world. Where the marshes don't be, that's where the Black Forest grows. Tree's be important to the Innish, an' not one is cut wit'out two bein' planted in return. Game be plentiful in the forest, though huntin' do be regulated durin' long times o' drought or disease. Mostly bear an' boar be 'unted, as though venison be plentiful, 'tis considered the highest o' bad luck ter kill an Innish deer. Small vermin an' rodents be plentiful as well fer the hunt, as well as a variety o' game birds.

The rest o' the Cadwaladr Isles be mostly forest an' rock, an' so fishin be a prime way ter get one's vittles an make a bit o' a livin. Seaweeds also be 'arvested, as they can make a good compliment ter a solid Innish meal. There be no better group fer sailin' than the Innish, and Innish vessels be some o' the quickest an' most manuverable round the world. Though they still be constructed o' wood, with very little steel used, they make fer decent warships as there ain't no vessel built today fer outmanuverin' or outfastin' an Innish ship. Be warned, there be a fair number o' Buccaneers in Innish waters, but they tend ter leave the ships o' allied nations alone, oddly enough. The mountains o' Cadwaladr provide a fair amount o' iron, which be processed ter steel fer guns, swords, and reinforcing ships an' 'omesteads. There also be a good number o' other ores pulled from the mountains, though as a whole the Innish be nary too found o' diggin' round in the ground. We be a sea people at 'eart.

As fer a military, there not be a standin' one per say, though every Innish man an' woman born be born wit' a sword o' Innish steel in their 'ands and go ter trainin' wit' it the next day. An there ain't an Innish family that don't own an' know how ter use a huntin' rifle ter deadly effect. Every clan leader keeps a compliment o' armed guards whose only job be ter know how ter swing their sword an' fire their piece, and every clan also be responsible fer supporting a team o' engineers ter upgrade an' support our existin' guns, ships, communications, an' anti-aircraft weaponry on all our isle's an' ships, an' there be a fair number o' that, ter be sure.

Though ter all that be interested in a visit, be ye warned. Stay ye from the Isle o' the Grey lady. Nary a one who went to that Isle has ever returned ter tell o' it. She be the ruler o' the Shide, an' though they be on me own side, they respect an' abide by their own rules an' no one elses, an' that be their own private domain aside from those tha' dwell in the forests, marshes, and mountains o' Cadwaladr. Just be respectful-like ter any ye meet, an all should go well.

So ter all who be interested in establishin' ties, ye have me own personal welcome an' word o' safety. Ye'll 'ave a compound set up in whatever location ye feel suits ye best, be it beach or bog, and ye'll 'ave a full compliment o' Innish cooks and servents ter 'elp ye run it. Transportation'll be provided fer ye to get from where ye need ter get ter go an' back, an' ye'll be supplied wit' a pass fer me own palace fer personal meetin's, when I be around an' privy fer it. All an' all, not a bad sort ter mutually fatten' our coffers an' fer protection.

May the winds always be at yer backs,
"Mad" Jack O' Bannon
