War: There is evidence of females fighting, but mainly the males eliminate their enemies in war. Wielding huge clubs or axes, pretty much anything is killed in one blow, but Cyclopses take a long time to swing.

City of Polyphemus:

This is a very large city, with houses around 20 stories high, and walls thick enough for them to stand upon, and the Ruler has his abode in a large Palace, about 1/2 mile wide and 25 stories high

The goblins wish for a trade and military alliance between our two peoples.

We will accept your terms, and offer our fighting strengths should they be needed.

The massive form of an Oni warrior, his tiger hide cloak draped over his shoulders, his iron club at his waist, walked proudly through the streets of Polyphemus, pulling with him a pair of great cats, muzzled with golden chains. On his shoulder was a huge sack, within glimmering hints of wealth beyond imagining. The Oni marched through the city, to the very throne room of Guryon, lord of the Cyclopses. Bowing deeply before the throne, the giant humbly placed a letter at the foot of the Cyclops monarch.

Great Guryon,

The realms of Jigoku have seen the magnificence of your city of Polyphemus. The Oni wish but to be your friends and confidantes, your allies in these harsh times. The emmisary carrying this letter has brought you gifts, a pair of the great tigers from our mountain, gold from our mines, and finely crafted iron clubs for your warriors. This warrior, Daiketso no Oni, is a great Majo, and has been commanded to serve you until his dying breath. All this we do in honor of your greatness, all we ask in return is your friendship.

Guryon read through the letter and looked up at the Warrior, then to his sack. And back to the letter, before looking at Daiketso again.

"We thankyou for your offers, they are greatly appreaciated. Place the weapons in the chamber over there." his massive hand lifted as a fat finger pointed across the room. "I shall send a message back to your leader, but by one of my men."

Worthy Orochi no Oni,

Thankyou for the offer and stalwart warrior, he will indeed come in handy. I see him becoming very powerful, and influential. The friendship between us will be as strong as our fortress, and shall last as long as the sea flows. We also offer you our finest axes ever carved, heirlooms of my family, and now yours. The messenger you see before you is my brother, Orion. And has asked to be your bodyguard.
