The Empire of Einlanzerous, in it's recent isolation to it's own region, has done so in the hopes of allowing its questionable research in bionics and artifical intelligence to florish in secret. The goverment organization (with many top commercial companies in partnership with it), known as the O.H.C.L. (Organization for Human Created Life) has managed to create low intelligence "brains" that can learn from it's enviroment. Thrilled and motivated to even further levels, they have since worked ever harder to further it's advancements into a perfect soldier. As of Earth standard year 2064, the military has lost contact with the facilities Alpha and Gamma, and all satellite coverage reaches a no signal once it attempts to view either of the two facilities. The military has decided to intervene and launch a scout force to discover what has gone wrong.

Commander Zerion was leading the primary force (an attachment from the 107th) into Alpha, his battle logs are as follows:

...Something wierd is going on here, the electronics went crazy when we tried to connect to the Facilities AI, it seems fried but that shouldn't affect our units. Scout party 0012 and 0005 haven't returned and are twenty minutes late for a call in. I have sent party 0002 and 0017 to discover the reason why. Nothing seems wrong, except the absence of, everything; power is out, teams 0003, 0015, and 0001 are on their way to the generators to try and restore power...

That was the last of the logs, since then all communication has ceased. The goverment has sent out a request for help in dealing with this curious problem, and is offering to give information in their findings on Artifical Intelligence Technology or if so desired Bionics Technology as well.
