International Bloc of Capitalist and Free Market Entrepreneurs

[OOC: The previous attempt for this was a failure because of my own slow posting and the fact that people who were to attend never came. Then, I jumped the gun and basically gave attendees an ultimatum for a war that never came. It was a war that I wanted to begin, but with A Passion Play going so well I didn't want to start it. So, instead of restarting the methodical conference I will begin at the source and introduce the point behind the conference; the alliance. This thread will evolve into a conference thread - hopefully one that will live and it will set the premise for the capitalist bloc.]

Open Communiqué to the World,

In an attempt to avert the starvation of my country and to propagate the idea of the free market further I have been ordered by His Imperial Majesty Fedor I to invite all those who wish to come to Mandalay, a city far from the areas of war, and place which you will find much to your gusto, if you will. For all intents and purposes the matter of discussion will be on the establishment of a free trade bloc, and although this is in no way an international military pact or agreement, it is a pact of formal establishment of the promise of free trade between all binding members. Of course, there are no closed ends to the idealogy of the INBLOC, as it has begun to be called between my fellow partners here in Fedala, and all loose ends will be discussed in the comming conference should you feel like you would wish to attend.

But again, for those who do not support free trade I suggest that you do not come. This conference will not stray away too far from that subject, and although we agree with the nationalization of armament industries, this bloc would reassure of trade without tarriffs, and more or less promise of at least a majority of fair business practice within one's borders. However, this is not a regulation upon said state; this is, in all definitions, for the willing only. Unless it is agreed on by the alliance as a whole this is not, and will never be, a military establishment - unless there is a concensus to turn into so.

I end with that, and if you wish to attend by all means do so. I eagerly wait the response of the international community, and please, you do not need my, or nobody's permission; you may come here whenever you wish by aircraft [OOC: meaning, skip the permission posts]. You will be given a room for each of your personnel in the huge Spring Palace in the outskirts of Mandalay. From there you will be shown to the conference room which is within palace grounds. Unfortunately, Fedor will not be able to attend - instead he is leading the army at the River Nestor. I, Jench Fersas, Foreign Advisor to His Imperial Majesty, will lead the conference in his stead.

Again, I am eager for news of many arrivals. Until the conference,

[OOC: Sure; landing posts are very bland - it's hard to make them interesting.]

The door to the conference room opened. Two men entered the room. The two could not have looked less alike. One was tall, heavyset, ruddy, with curly hair. He looked eerily similar to the late John Candy. The second man was medium height, thin, bespectacled, with a military-style buzz cut, a button down shirt, and polished penny loafers. They were Minister of Commerce Jeffrey Priessler and Minister of Finance Scott Storla, respectively. Both men took their seats and introduced themselves.

"Regrettably, Generalissimo J.L. cannot himself attend," Priessler explained. "His current whereabouts are unknown."

My friend and allies in The Macabees are correct in establishing a bloc of likeminded capitalist nations. We are fully committed to come and establish our presense in this promising conference. We wish to discuss the possiblity of forming a so called economic bloc/alliance for free trade and to further economic interests and objectives peacefully. We believe that through capitalism, we can help everyone and restore those poor countries who have unfortunently fallen to the corruption of some scandalous authoritarian, controlled economies along with providing economic resources for their recovery and advancement into a more "free-oriented" economy and ideology. The presuit of free enterprise and trade is the forefront for continued advancement economically and technologically. We are sure that our brotherin in The Macabees understand that concept.

We will be sending our Foreign Minister Harman Sidhu to represent our interests in the conference. He will be arriving there upon premission to attend the conference. Thank You.

Signed,

To: Mr. Harsimran Mann

Mr. Sidhu will be more than welcome. He will be able to come to Mandalay when he chooses; the conference will begin in four days. And indeed, your position is fully agreeable. Only through capitalism and through competition can a state and an economy properly progress. Although, I have to admit, His Imperial Majesty Fedor does not lax all the time; he does not alloy for the monopolization of business. Regardless, he has recently retracted the mininum wage, but fortunately outsourcing has been cut to a mininum - especially with the patriotism of business. So, the theory is that the worker will make himself demanded, thus rising the rates of wages to workers by itself. It is a mere theory, should it no work in practice I don't doubt that Fedor will reinstate a mininum wage - but all progresses come through mistakes, do they not? Regardless, I eagerly await Mr. Sidhu's arrival.

Bump!

Skibereen had just made arrangements for a Embassy in Macabees, so attending this conference seemed more then appropriate. Then there was the matter of the subject of the conference, which was of great importance to Skibereen.

The men sent to Macabees to represent Skibereenian interests arrived uneventfully.

Entering the conference room first was Patrick Flanery Grand Marshall of Red Hand Infantry(Retired) now Presidential Adjunct.
A barrel chested man, whose shoulders touched both side of the average 'mandoor' when passing through, even though he was only 5'6" tall.
Observant and stone faced, Patrick entered the room and softened his face each time he met the gaze of another person.

Armand Esperato, Minister of Foreign Affairs
Armand was dark and tall, the prototypical older latin male.
Slender, and graceful, a deep imposing voice but excellent negotiations skill.
dressed less like a politician and more like business man. Armand is dedicated wholley to humble service to the Nation.

Finally,
Erwin Vorlagenjäger, Senior Vice President of Public Relations FallCorp(The largest corporation and employer in Skibereen--Parent Company of ErininArms)
Dressed in 15,000 worth of off the rack clothes, a collectors Blancpain 1735 on his wrist.

The men walked through the room to where the Macabee escort would take them(Dont know if this is Hotel, tour, or what?).

..........the gangs all here, my post was better but I lost my first one, w@W doesnt time out stupid jolt....................
