One Mile of the Coast of Breskens, 5:14 AM
"Where we headin boss?", grunted an oarsman as he pulled the wooden plank back, turning to the former Rebel Lieutenant, Magnus the Great, Commander of the Raiding Party, and of the city of Mandal. "Not much further now lads... Breskens should be a mile or two forward... keep rowin', the Flemish women are waitin for ya!", shouted Magnus, recieving a loud laugh from his crew of thirty five. "When we hit the beaches, you all know what to do. The longboats to the shores, then kill anyone in sight. Burn and pillage. Taking prisoners is the last objective. So no screwin around with the local whores before the defences are broken... we all know the stories of the Flemish Infantry... their skill with weapons... yadayadayada. But lads I have good news. The number of trained Flemish Infantry in Breskens will be few... we'll be fightin city boys with swords. Nothing compared to the men of Mandal! The Warriors of the Revolution!", once again, a great cheer from the Veteran's echoed Magnus' speech. "Today... we will be rich."
Fifteen longboats toar through the icy waters of the North Sea, carrying some 525 men to the small port city of Breskens, where they expect to slaughter, burn and pillage, bringing back the wealth of the city to Mandal. The shores were insight, the morning was fresh, day break hitting but an hour ago. The fifteen longboats, adorned with the heads of Pagan Gods hit the cold beaches, unloading a horde not seen in Europe for a century. The boats, explicitly designed for manuverabilty and speed were pulled upon the shores as weapons were quickly grabbed, torches lit, and chants shouted. The order to charge was released by Magnus, and the men chraged into the waking city, yelling aloud, screaming, preparing to wreak havoc.

Lieutenant of Mandal Magnus the Great... A brute of a man, he was one of the first to join Rachejk in his revolution. A veteran of every major battle, his use of a battle axe is magnificent, and is loved by his men for the little control he exerts over them.
(I suppose starting the resistance from the time the Raiders hit the beach would be best)
