It seems, that ever-agin, the imperialist armies of the Osean Rule seem hell-bent on encroaching on more and more nations sovereignty, most recently, with their proposed "treaty to further stabilize the island" which - as we both seem to see eye to eye - is simply a farce, an attempt to weaken the armed forces of other, far more respectable nations to the point where defence is impossible.

As such, we wish to form a provision alliance with your nation in the event of war. It is evident that it will happen sooner or later, when their armies pour down into the lands of our respected, sovereign colonies, and means of defence will have to be acquired. In the interests of true stabiltiy on the no name island, we ask that we work out the details of such an alliance as soon as possible.

While we do understand the concerns raised by the dignified diplomats and leaders from Lame Bums in regards to the ever-pervasive imperialist-expansionist intentions of the Osean colonial "government", at the same time considering the various geopolitical and other factors that will come with a prospective mutual defence alliance, we would like to politely decline the offer. Though the Omzian government will not look at further Osean imperialist expansions in a favourable manner, at the same time we have long established a defensive-only posture in our liberated territory, and it is in our best interests that we maintain that unless our own territory is threatened.

Nevertheless, this should not be taken as an outright rejection, as it is in our belief that a non-aggression treaty should be established between our two nations; further, in the case of a conflict involving the Osea imperialists and Lame Bums, we may as well deploy military forces even if we are under no obligation to do so.

We are eagerly awaiting for a reply.
