Subject: Republic of Molynia seeks relations

The Republic of Molynia, having established itself as a sovereign nation, now seeks to form relations with the nations of the World. Currently we are interested in trade agreements and defense arrangements. We have much to offer the world, including reliable and capable information technology, reasonably priced products from beef-based agriculture, and top quality woven baskets. If you are interested in discussions, please reply to this message, and we will make arrangements for your representative* to visit our nation.

Also, we are interested in expanding our military forces, especially our navy and naval-based aviation, to be more capable of defending our nation in these perilous times. Any favorable deals or reasonable donations would be much appreciated, and will be seen as an act of goodwill and charity. Furthermore, those parties will be given first consideration when doing such business in the future.

Included is a map of our country, as well as data on our climate and customs, so your representatives may be prepared when they visit.

With Good Wishes for your Nation,
The Republic of Molynia

*note: English-speaking representatives only, please.

Greetings from the Divided Territories!

After just recently recieving the wonderful news of your nation's wishes to initiate foreign relations, it has been decided that, if you will accept us, the Divided Territories would like to exchange embassies with your nation, and perhaps discuss protectorate status, so that you may better march forward safely into the future. We eagerly await your reply.

Yours,
Zanzii Minister of Foreign Affairs,

To whom it may concern,

The Islands of Kageshima, having established ourselves as a sovereign nation, send our cordial greetings to the Republic of Molynia. We congratulate you on your achievement and look forward to good relations between our countries in the future.

In regards to your request for trade and/or military aid, Our Lady extends to you this offer - that between our countries, we should open diplomatic and trade agreements by exchanging embassies, allowing us to import beef products from you and export our own natural resources, which include unrefined uranium, ebony, obsidian, pearls, native fruits (cranberries, pineapple, coconuts, papayas, mangoes, etc.), and our renowned rum. In the interest of friendship, She also extends to you this offer of naval aid - while Kageshima's technology is archaic, we are nonetheless in possession of some of the finest sailors and shipwrights/naval engineers in the world. We presume that you desire modern technology with which to build your navy, but we would be happy to send you some of our skilled craftsmen and sailors to assist you with external ship design and with the training of your naval officers.

Should this offer prove of interest to you, please contact me at:
Anatole Solei, Office of External Diplomatic Relations, Isle of Shadow, Kageshima.
We eagerly await your response and look forward to our future interactions.

Cordially yours,
Anatole Solei

Greetings from the Libertarian Concordance of Czardas!

We are glad to see that yet another nation has emerged onto the world stage, and we wish to congratulate you on your entry into the international community. In order to further facilitate the opening of diplomatic relations, we would also like to extend an invitation for representatives of your nation to attend a diplomatic conference held in Czardas (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=458602).

If you are unable to attend at this time, we will try to work out a trade or embassy exchange agreement, and will also be willing to sell you naval aircraft, as the Concordance is primarily an air power. Once again, the Concordance sends you its greetings and wishes you a pleasant day.

The newly established nation of Lyriana greets the Republic of Molynia. We welcome trade and would happily agree to trade. Lyriana currently has a thriving Arms Manufacturing industry, and would be willing to export moderate amounts of weaponry on the assurance that Molynia will not use them against the innocent. We hope that correspondence will continue, and would be interested in sending a Lyrianan representative to Molynia.

We have a storefront avaiable that can build up your military/infrastructure with prefabricated buildings and we are close to a breakthrough in reducing cost. So stay tuned. We wish to establish a Consulate and bring a Consulate General, 4 aides, and 5 guards to your fine nation. A trade agreement can be made, our car industry currently seeks newer markets and our low-priced vehicles fit right in your niche. And as a final act of good will we are willing to give a gift of 50 M60 Patton tanks or 50 T-62 Tanks (your preference) and 50 Jeeps with MGs. If you accept our offer you will find yourself in good company.

Thank you for your timely response!

The Republic of Molynia thanks you for your generous offer. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept your offer of 50 M60 or T-62 tanks, as they do not fit our current military philosophy. Can we perhaps trade them for products of equal value from your naval line? Also, our department of defense would like to know the weight of your AVT-90M Main Battle Tank, and if it meets our requirements we will definitely consider purchasing them. We accept your offer of the Jeeps, and await transportation details.

We welcome your consulate, and inquire whether you would like to set up a full embassy in our nation? We have facilities available that you can immediately use, and an embassy can also be built to your specifications. We shall discuss trade as soon as your representatives arrive.

We look forward to relations with your nation!

Re: Xeraphian Ambassador

The Empire is going to send an ambassador to your country from our subject-nation of Dark Visions. As this nation is comprised exclusively of extraterrestrials, the ambassador will arrive in orbit tomorrow, giving our AI workers the time necessary to construct his specialized quarters.

The ambassador's name is Vil Hkryssa, a Videssian from the Periphery, at the edge of the known universe. He is what we would call an 'anthromorph'...a shape-shifter.

If it is alright with your government, his quarters will be self-sustaining. He will need no aid from anyone save his immediate staff, of which there are six. As the atmosphere inside the bubble will be highly toxic to humans, you will have to speak to him in his specially made AI suit.

He will be TransBeamed from his ship directly to his quarters, and will advise you when he is available for talks.

Yer seem like a decent feller, so I be more than partial ter open our waters and doors ter ye providin' ye do the same. As embassies go, ye may supply upwards o' two dozen individuals, I care naught in what capacity. Ye may arm them as ye see fit, just know that me own citizens don't take too friendly-like to 'ostile strangers armed ter the teeth. 'andguns and personal blades be yer best bet. As fer me own embassy on yer soil, I insist on sending the 'ead o' Clan O' Toole ter yer shores as me ambassador, and his family consistin' o' his wife an' four fine daughters. He'll also be wit' one o' me own personal Druids, a Runemaster, a Bard, an' a Shide singer, along wit' his own personal guard o' a dozen men, armed wit' a full compliment o' Innish blades: A Claymore, an Innish longsword, a Dirk, and an Innish Dike, along wit' a Basket-Hilt Claymore fer affairs o' state. Once an embassy be established, ye may pass freely through our waters if'n we can do the same ter yers, and there will be a severe crackdown on any Innish buccaneers in yer area.

As fer yer request fer trade, I would be more'n pleased fer a mutual exchange o' commodities. Fer tradin, ye can't beat what the generous Innish Marshes provide. We have Innish Rum, like no other. We have Innish limes, nuthin' better fer pie makin' or keepin' off the scurvy. Innish wool be fine an' light, harvested from our own lamas, it be. Seafood be plentiful, as be our steel an' agriculture an' a variety o' other things. Surely we'll find a way to fatten' our own coffers mutually. As fer military aide, there be no finer sailers in the world than the Innish. The waters 'ave been our own domaine since time forgotten, and we 'ave unique ship and sail designs known ter no others. Also, there be no fiercer fighter, loyal an' true, than an Innishman. If'n ye'll 'ave our back, we'll 'ave yers. In exchange fer providin' us wit' better firearms, since we primarily only 'ave hunting rifles similiar ter Remingtons, we'll 'elp ye wit' yer navy. We don't want nothin' too fancy, nothin' automatic or anythin' like that. Just a bit o' a better huntin' rifle, somethin' a bit faster than a bolt lock. It be accurate, but sometimes a bit slow.

May ye find nothin' but sunny days in yer future,
