Ooc: I’m attempting to get re-involved in FT, this time with Kordo instead of my puppet Ghensia. I will still be RP’ing MT too. (as if you cared)

The Empire of Kordo controls a handful of star systems and, until recently, lived in relative peace for thousands of years.

But things had not always been this way. Nearly five thousand years before the Battle of Yavin, a large and well armed Republic and Jedi expedition had been sent to this remote part of the galaxy in hopes of finding Sith forces. After conquering several dozen Sith colonies, the fleet was preparing to return home. However, even as they prepared to return home, parts of the fleet continued to search for more Sith planets. Instead, they awoke a strange and dangerous evil.

Realizing that this evil faced a grave danger to the Republic, the Jedi convinced the fleet stayed and fight it. Over the course of the next thousand years they fought this strange evil, until finally defeating it nearly, killing themselves in the process. Over that time, with records damaged or destroyed, and all those who had been born in the Republic had passed away, the Republic faded into myth and legend becoming the fabled home of the gods. That all changed however, when Emperor Palpatine took power.

Since no one in the Republic had ever discovered what had happened to the expedition, Emperor Palpatine feared that some of the Jedi that had accompanied the expedition may have survived, though it had left thousands of years ago. So, he sent a battle fleet with orders to find any survivors and eradicate them at all costs.

For five years the fleet searched the Unknown regions until finally coming upon Kordo. A great battle ensued, and the Kordoan forces suffered greatly for they had grown complacent in their time of peace. But in the end the Kordon fleet rallied and defeated the Imperial forces. Since then, and the subsequent seizing of power by war-hero Admiral Telon, the renamed Empire of Kordo has increased its fleet's size exponentially, and slowly prepared to do battle in Imperial Space.

ooc: Any suggestions? I have experience RP’ing Modern Tech nations, but FT is rather new to me.

:p I'm too lazy to come up with anything too original and since everyone pretty much knows the capabilities of star wars tech, it keeps it relitivly simple.

I'm sure you don't mean it in that sense though...

OOC: Hehe...typos abounds. Look at the other Ge-something-or-other names.

No, it looks good all-around, though. Nicely done.

I think I'll send my marines there for R&R sometime... Actually, the only reason I hven't said anything before this is because I didn't want to be the first person to make a prostitue joke...

Hmmm, actually, I was never really sure about the prostitute bit. Are they actually all, um, special entertainers?

OOC:

No.

But when soldiers from WWII came over, many prostitutes called themselves "Gaishas" And, well, the rest is history.

Sweet, sweet, $25-an-hour history.

Pretty much...

They are technically more like an American Escort Service than they are Prostitutes to tell the truth, they generallytake VERY poorly to the term prostitute in fact, as I seem to remember from that week we spent in Japan...

If you want more origonal SD's, check my store front. I've got dozens of origonal SD's and even more deadly (and they're my Empire's signature), Towerless Star Destroyers.

I've also got a bunch of origonal Tie Fighter designs as well.

EDIT:
I still need to update my list. Check my Star Drive thread in my signature for more TSD's.
