AIDI (Potty 5 MT store front)

Potty 5
11-12-2005, 13:36
AIDI stands for Archmage Imperial Defense Industries. Formed by the Emperor Fat Monkey 13 to produce and develop arms for the defense of Potty 5. As Potty 5, has changed greatly in recent years, in order to reduce costs of development and research, and to dispose of equipment that is no longer needed, the Emperor Fat Monkey 13 has declared that AIDI shall be allowed to sell weapons on the international market to reputable buyers.

Don’t be put off by the lower then normal costs of AIDI (If you think they are low, We do Most dont), as a government run company, it operates without taxes, also Potty 5 has a huge amount of cheap skilled labor [in part due to our excellent free education system], and utilizes the most advanced manufacturing techniques.

Missiles
missile warheads can be changed on request of the buyer, or the buyer can simply change the warhead after buying. The missiles are capable of fitting a wide veriety of warheads but the standard are shown.

SA-800M1 G2 Surface to Air Missile
Max Speed Mach 7
Length 7.5m
Width 500mm
Mass 2000kg
Warhead Payload 200kg (comes with HE-FRAG)
Guidance Passive/Semi-Active Radar, initial inertial, terminal IR/UV, Command Backup.
Range (on Fuel) 250km
Ceiling 40km
Propulsion Two Stage Rocket Motor
Min Altatude 3m
Min Range 400m
Unit Cost $750,000
This missile is not a fire and forget missile in its primary role. It can be used as a fire and forget missile as a radiation seeking weapon, or as an IR guided missile. The IR/UV is of imaging quality and is nearly impossible to spoof. The IR/UV is an all aspect system and can identify an aircraft from front, back or the sides. The missile can also be used as a SSM with good efficiency. The missile has an on board guidance system so it can not be jammed. If set up with a Track-Via-Missile system it can function as this but then the on board guidance system is redundant, inefficient, and expensive. Comes in sealed launcher tube. Verticle Launch.

SA-800M1 G3 Surface to Air Missile
Max Speed Mach 7
Length 7.5m
Width 500mm
Mass 2000kg
Warhead Payload 200kg (comes with HE-FRAG)
Guidance Track-via-Missile
Range (on Fuel) 250km
Ceiling 40km
Propulsion Two Stage Rocket Motor
Min Altatude 3m
Min Range 400m
Unit Cost $600,000
This missile is not a fire and forget missile. This is the TVM version of the above missile. The design allows for a cheaper missile with a higher PK, but requires more substantial support from other system. Comes in sealed launcher tube. Vertical Launch. The primary difference between the G2 and G3 is that the G3 uses a ground based computer to generate its guidance. This means that the system need not be on the missile and that a more powerful computer and more complex logarithms can be used.

SS-800/21 Short Range Ballistic Missile
Length 7.5m
Width 500mm
Mass 2000kg
Warhead Payload 450kg, detaches (comes with HE)
Guidance Inertial, and GPS.

Propulsion Two Stage Rocket Motor
Min Range 10km
CEP 10m (w/ GPS), 40m (w/o GPS)
Unit Cost $550,000
This short range ballistic missile is intended to fit any launch vehicle that the SA-800M1 can. Comes in sealed launcher tube. Verticle Launch

Submachine Guns, Rifles, Carbines, Light Machineguns, Light Support Weapons
Most weapons can be rechambered at the time of purchase to fire diferanat rounds or moddified after bought.

Type 106 Weapon System
Any weapon in the Type 106 weapons systems can be can be converted to fire any oither round in the system (Type 76 rounds included) with at most a change of the barrel, bolt, and feed.
Thw weapon system is composed of 4 main weapons. The LSW/LMG, Marksman's/Battle/Assault Rifle, the Battle/Assault Carbine, and the SMG.
The weapons share internal parts but utilize diferant externals in order to beter suit there length and mission. As such the the 4 main weapons can not be easly converted into the other.
All weapons featire extensive use of plastics, but on the inside are heavly built AKs (stamped not machined). They are all magazine fed, with a doward ejection, and a balanced gas (like AK-107/108) system to make good accuracy on full auto as well as very effective muzzle breaks. The buts aslo feature recoil buffers. These weapons also feature a pnumatic rate of fire reducer to allow for accurate automatic fire if it is needed. The triger group is Safe, Semi, Burst (3), Slow (600 rpm), High (1200 rpm)
LSW/LMG
The LSW uses the short round, the LMG the long. It features a quick change barrel, and is generly made to more rugard standard then the other weapons in order to be better able to with stand long burst of suppresive fire. The closest RL competator to these is Singapore's Ultimax , thogh these weapons are based more on the the RPK and Krebs Custom AK-108 Rifle (not an AK-108 but a 7.62mm NATO AK). The LSW/LMG is fitted with a standard detachable folding bipod that also serves as a utility tool. Though the LMG is fires a powerful round, and a quick change barrel it should not be confused with a GPMG which is far more capable (if made properly) of susstained fire, indirect fire, and long range fire. The LSW/LMG are both capable of accuracy beyond that of the normal rifle and can be used as a Marksman's weapon but they are not garenteed to be as accuracte, its accuracy can vary with difernat barrels and guns far more then that of the Marksman's rifle
Rifle and Carbine
The Assault version use the short rounds, the Battle versions use the long rounds. The carbines have shorter barrels. Other then this these weapons are rather un-exemplalary. The Marksman's Rilfe is is built to high quality control then the other weapons and is assembled by hand and tested to be proven to have sufficient accuracy for combat beyond the range of the normal rifle. Integral Suppressor versions are avalible for the rifle (420mm barrel only) and the carbine
SMG
This weapon is extremely tiny, for a rifle. Just about the same size as the FN P90 (but has a shorter barrel, and generly less rounds of ammo, it also has a more conventional layout). The rounds it fires are much larger though. The compact size comes at a price though. The barrel is only 210mm long which means that there is a lot of propellent that has not beeen used to it's full potentional. This means drops in performance of the rounds fired as well as greater muzzle blasts. The short cartridge version is similar to the HK53 and AKSU as well similar submachine guns that fire rifle rounds, but the long cartridge version is a weapon that only the best trained user should atempt, the only weapon that comes close to it is the HK51 which was never produced by HK. Integral Suppressor versions are avalable (and are highly sugested)

889mm LMG/LSW with a 600mm barrel
797mm Rifle with 508mm barrel

Feed
Box Magazine (20, 25, 30, 35 or 40 rounds)
Drum Magazine (50, 75, 100 rounds)

The standard machinegun rounds include a boat tail for reduced aerodynamic drag, and an asymmetric tungsten carbide core that has excellent effect on armor and soft flesh. There are incendiary and tracer rounds available. Also available are symmetrical steel core rounds with boat tail. For closer range work round nose, non-boat tail is available (w/ 14.6 gram projectile and 729 m/s velocity).
The rounds do not use lead and are environmentally friendly.

Projectile diameter 33.67mm; Case length 48.8mm; mass 500g; projectile mass 275g; Velocity 240 m/s; Muzzle Energy 7920 J
HE-MP can penetrate up to 90mm of steel armor; it also has a kill radius against infantry of 10m, and a wounding radius of 30m
HE-FRAG has a kill radius of 15m and a wounding radius of 45m
WP-I B uses an explosive (impact/timed self destruct) to scatter WP as an incendiary weapon. The radius is 7m and it burns for 2 minuets at a temperature of about 850 degrees centigrade.
WP-I S has an explosive self destruct timed fuse but normally instead relies on shattering to release its payload which can end up in 5 to 8m long area. The round is designed for close range use.
WP-Smoke produces a smoke screen very quickly but the high temperature of the gas causes it to form pillars meaning that most of the smoke rises into the air. This is useful to signal to aircraft in addition to instantaneous smoke screens. It is very similar to the WP-I B round.
RP-Smoke uses Red Phosphorus which burns at a lower temperature and reduces the pillaring effect. It also burns sufficiently hot to produce an incendiary effect.
Smoke lacks the high temperature of RP or WP but has no pillaring so it is more effective at long term screening. It does not react as quickly as WP and also does less to offer protection against thermal imaging. Though as with all of the smoke the particles greatly reduces the effectiveness of laser rangefinders.
FAE FAE uses a fuel air explosive to create an extremely high over pressure blast followed by a near vacuumed due to the burring of the oxygen. It lacks the radius of fragmentation devices but is extremely efficient on enclosed targets such as buildings and buckers.
HESH-MP Is similar to HEAT-MP. it also has a kill radius against infantry of 7m, and a wounding radius of 20m. This is a more effective anti-building and concreat round the HEAT-MP but is not as good at penatrating armor (thoguh if a vehicle lack spall linning it can be very lethal)
Flechette The intended range is up to 150m but it has a maximum range of 300m. The darts are made of dense metals to improve penetration, and long range performance, and have considerable ability to get through cover and body armor.
Shot consists of a large number of spherical balls made of high density metals. Intended range is up to 75m but it has a maximum range of 150m. The shot has considerable armor piercing capability (for shot at least). It is the same principal as grape-shot and canister.
Cube Shot is similar to shot but has a far greater spread and is less effecient at long range. Intended range 30m; Maxamum range 75m.

This weapon does not share any interchangeable parts with the PK or PKM. It can be converted to fire most rimless rounds (with reason) such as 7.62mm NATO, 30-06, or 7.98mm but would require major modification to accept a rimmed round (such as the one that the PK and PKM fires). These modifications would require work of a skilled armorer. and can not be done in the field.
Unit Cost: $3,000 new, $1,000 military surplus (20,000 available)

Type 107 General Purpose Machine Gun

Materials Largely made out of high quality stamped and rolled metal to reduce cost, and weight; Many internal parts are chromed or made of stainless steel to reduce corrosion and wear. High strength plastics are used for furniture as well some other areas as they are more resistant to the environment and warping as well as being lighter.
This weapon has no major interchangeable parts with the Type 76 (except the tripod), and parts from the Type 76 that can be fitted (internals) should not be used as the Type 76 was never intended to fire at high rate of fire. The rates of fire can be changed by using different hydraulic fire rate reducers, and the gun can be modified to fire other rimless round with ease (if you have a skilled armorer, which every military should have).

Greetings.
We are devloping at this moment a limited production service rifle to be fitted with a cased round. It is my intent to make a purchase of ten Type-55 and twenty Type-76 rifles for the purpose of study. I hope this will be suitable for an order. In addition we would like to purchase one-hundred thousand rounds of each caliber of Type-76 ammunition. Which will come to a total of three-hundred thousand rounds of ammuniton and thirty rifles, for $96,300. Money will be wired upon confirmation of our order, as per our usual transaction service. Possible further orders for ammunition, or even purchase of production rights for ammunition may follow pending our test results.
Thank you and have a nice day.

Colonel K.Utu-Qysni

Your order is accepted, but we must know what varient of the Type 76 rifle you wish to buy (Battle Rifle or carbine, Light Machinegun, Marksman's rifle or carbine), and what varients of the ammo do you wish to buy (steel core, tungsten core, match,...). Due to the ammo we will provide barrels in both bores for no extra cost.

The Type 76 rifle is an AK based rifle that varies in the mechamism in the adition of a gas regulator. It uses a stamped rather then milled reciver. It is built to a higher standard and finnish of the normal AK. This makes it more like the SIG 550 and Sako M90 then the older AKM or Type 55. This is a battle rifle and despite the exelent muzzle design it can not provide automatic fire as well as an assault rifle (An expert user could use the weapon very well in full auto fired from the shoulder though).

The Type 55 rifles are just copies of the AKM. The standard is higher as is the use of plastics. The rifle uses the old M1943 7.62x39mm round but it would not be too hard to change the chambering to use the newer Type 106 rifles but the cost would be rather grate due to limited production run or the need of every weapon to be moddifed by hand. You are already probibly familiar with weapons just like this and if your intent is to use the

Type 55 as the rifle we would sugest that you look to a newer assault rifle such as our Type 106, SIG 550, Sako M90,

The Type 55 is here for nations that need a tested reliable weapon cheap and quick. We have 800,000 in store that can ship out within 48 hours.

OOC: Sorry for any typos and for not filling your order at once but I need to know what you want.

OOC: whoops, I thought I put the ammo type into the post. And I put the numbers of rifles in as well, but this gives me oppertunity to change this slightly.

IC:
The ammo type we wish to order is steel-cored of all caliber types. As well as the ten Type-55, twenty Type-76 Battle Rifles, and the ammunition, we would like to add onto our order, if possible, the purchase of ten Type-76 Marksman Rifles.

Our total order thus far should come to:
- 100,000 rounds of steel cored 7.8mm x 55mm Type 76 Ammunition
- 100,000 rounds of steel cored 6.7mm x 55mm Type 76 Ammunition
- 100,000 rounds of steel cored 6.7mm x 55mm Light Type 76 Ammunition
- 10 Type 55 base model Rifles.
- 20 Type 76 Battle Rifles (Set 10 7.8mm and 10 6.7mm)
- 10 Type 76 Marksman Rifles (Set 10 7.8mm and 10 6.7mm)

The total price of such should come to $106,300.

To: The office of Commanding Officer of Military Procurement Colonel K.Utu-Qysni

"We well send out the weapons and ammo ASAP, you can expect to be holding them within a week.

If you wish to compare our Type 76 with it's closest rival we sugest the [RL] Krebs Custom AK-103 or SIG-540 in 7.62mm NATO

We doubt the Type 55 is what you are looking for but we are happy to sell them to you. They are rather basic but I am think you know what you are doing better then I.

Consider this a confermation of your order.

Scot Sterling, AIDI spokesman"

AIDI announces the addition of a new armored vehicle! The Type 101 Infantry Fighting Vehicle! This new vehicle features superior mobility, firepower, and protection then the BMP-3 (BMP-2 and BMP-1 as well) at a price only marginally greater! Like all of the Type 101 Vehicle line the Type 101 IFV is fully amphibious and is capable of moving on all types of very soft ground.

In addition AIDI would like to announce the new M1 upgraded type 101 series of vehicles that feature a higher road and off raod speed, a more powerful generator, and enhanced protection. Older models still available;

OOC: I am open suggestions and criticism if any person has some. If a vehicle too cheap or ammo too expensive, just say so. But please give your reasoning for it so I can better understand your point of view and more easily decide if I agree with your complaint.
