OOC: My nation has been rebuilding after a collapse back into Civil war.
The Government had not fully formed before the collapse.
The Executive Branch is short Cabinet members.
Unlike most politics in Skibereen the parties are armed and a subdued low level conflict is always on- The parties have settled into a truce but with choosing a new Cabinet things will flare up---this will not be tanks (well not thousands) Aircraft do not fly over Skibereen, not for long anyway, it will Special Operations ground fighting, political struggle and debate and finally negottiation to resolution and the choosing of a Cabinet--that will end the RP.
However as Skibereen has very open borders and very borad trade market it would be in the benefit of other nations to perhaps play a role.
Advisors, or even Wet teams are allowed.
what is not allowed?
People just looking for a war RP--bye bye.
People just looking for Politics--bye bye.
I want people who can do both---
Since it will be small numbers of men(relatively compared to some NS Rps) try to be charater based.
I am out of writing pratice for character based stuff so excuse me while I shake of my dust.
Oh, and dont RP having anything just ridiculous in my nation.
Now the factions
The Red Hand is the Ruling Party--they are Militant, Protectionist, Secular, Large African and Gaelic Demographic, well organized, and fanatical in their patrotism--
The Black Eyes, they support the ruling party. They are a small faction and manipulating the situation so that they gain an extra cabinet Level position would serve them well--they tend to be less militant, and less protectionist, they are eager for Skibereen to expand in the international community rapidly.
The People of Dana, a Neutral group who seek to dismantle the current system in an attept to restruction SKibereen in a more peaceful mold, the closest thing to socialists Skibereen has.
The Dana do not support the Militarized nature of Skibereenian POlitics--but they participate.
The O'Murchadha, The largest Faction, they are mercenary and would enjoy being able to move Skibereen in a more hawkish nature--economically and militarily. The are the Good'Ol Boy party and they are Very Hawkish but not very conservative---Think Neo-Conservative Anarchists.
The Order of Saint Patrick, the second largest faction. Theocratic in nature, Hawkish, agrressive, anti-Republican and Democratic, Pro Theo-Facist, Pro-War on secualr nations, pro closed economy.
Skibereens Facists.
There are smaller groups in Skibereen and I am certain I can find one to accomadate your nations interests.
This will be the OOC/Sign-Up thread.
Once it begins you will able to interact with other RPers as there will be a number of nations involved and my presence will not be required 24/7
People who cant post everyday are welcome.
