OOC: I have decided to Start The Cassiopeian Civil War, make it open FT.

IC: The Vex Controled Senate may have Declared a end to the war, but The others were soon Pissed, They were soon saying The demands were Too Harsh, that it was Pro Vex and that The Vex were Traitors to The Republic.

one Race that wasn't too happy about The Demands wrer The Shah'reeks, they were Mad. The Grand Counsal, Controled by The Shah'reeks, Demons, Co'rans and Draconians, soon Declared the Vex in Rebelion.

War was about to start.

Enter Pir'nas, Shah'reek Police Captain, member of the Cassiopeian Democratic Party. Nobody knew that he was, but he stood amongst the many who made up its inner circle.

When the announcement came out that the Vex were declared to be in rebellion, everyone was shocked. There were several Vex in his police station, and every one of them he was good friends with. It was the same with every other member. Even they were surprised.

This blanket declaration was attempted genocide.

The political part of the Cassiopeian Democratic Party had spoken out in an inspirational speech involving members of every race making speeches. It was their job, as the police, to ensure that there was no corrupt use of force to attack the political parties. Swift action to prevent loss of life was essential.

Minutes later, the entire station's complement of officers was out on the streets arresting those who were fighting, on both sides.

"WHAT!?!" Yelled Grand Counsul Thyl'uki Shi'baba, a Draconian. "those Idiot Police are arresting People?" The Other Members of the Counsul, Rai'kaan Gia'iu (Co'ran), Fian'ui W'ok (Shah'reek), Eli'hi Man'da (another Draconian.), Si'mi Mi'mi (Demon) and Grand Suffhali'hiayi'kaan Mimi'uai San'ko (Shah'reek), looked at Each other. "We Ssssssssshould Declare Marsssshal Law on Darkkaan and send The Clone troopssss to Enforce the Law." Rai'kaan said. "I agree," Mimi'uai said, "I think the rebels have taken Control of the Police."

The Members soon Voted for it and Declared Marshal Law on Darkkaan.

By the time the military arrived the situation had already been defused by the combined efforts of the CDP members, who had applied their influential positions amongst their peers to stem the beginnings of a true rebellion.

As a result, when the armies arrived, they arrived to well behaved and certainly not rebelling citizens, and thoroughly making a mocking of themselves.

Of course, the media was ready for them.

Holocasts of the quiet streets before the military, with people going about their lives as usual, were shown beside ones of martial law, with soldiers marching up and down, roughing up passers-by.

"As we can see, our government has resorted to provocation to attempt to summon this rebellion they continually insist our populace instigate. We must raise doubts about our leaders' ability to do what is best for our country."

"Our esteemed leadership has now decided to convert our fair republic into a dictatorship, in order to combat the nonexistent rebel threat. Has there been any hint of a rebellion? Have we yet seen our government produce any evidence that their claims of insurgence have any proof?

The Grand Council has been abusing its power to declare this galaxy a military dictatorship, led by a select few. They are dissolving the very pillars holding our civilisation in an attempt to hold on to their ill begotten power. Their incompetence knows no bounds, and the many are being ignored for the sake of a few!"

The Cassiopeian Democratic Party had its forward-thinking members almost everywhere, including the administrative offices. Communications engineers, managers, secretaries, all working hard to make the sprawling Republic a free, stable, truly democratic nation for the sake of all. The vision was for a republic that could stand proud on the intergalactic stage, a reminder that no nation was ever truly lost.

However, chaos would be inevitable for change now, but a rebellion would not come to pass. Such an act on a massive scale only led to decimation. Forceful dissolution of the government did not require it.

Bureaucracy suddenly crippled the government machine, as orders were changed before transit, not being sent, ships suddenly relocated across the galaxy. Planets suddenly found themselves being granted independence, random people recieving windfalls of thousands in government funds, whilst others were billed millions in tax.

Eventually, even sending a message even from one city to another took several days of sorting and verification to arrive.

The military were not wholly uninfluenced, either.

Empress Cas'rai Gon'dor'ri said to day from The Super Star Destroyer today that The Change from Republic to Empire will be for The Good of The Galaxy. "With The Threat of The Pro-Harukabi Rebels and the So called Demands, a Stronger Government is needed, one that can show The Universe that we will not be forced into Demands that are Unfair, and more for a week nation then one so powerful."

Marshal Law will Continue on Darkkaan.

Counterstatement from Kria'sa S'lan

"Which of you truly believes that stripping our nation of both its morals and rights in pursuit of military might is how we should remake ourselves? The Government has utterly failed to back up their accusations that our party has been influenced by outside forces.

What have our extensive military forces ever done to aid us? We have been conscripted into constructing colossal starships with resources that would have better been used improving the whole empire from its rural state. And we have been sending them to their all too inevitable doom. Indeed, every one of our enemies, every battle, have managed to inflict colossal losses on our populace.

Arrogance has never worked in anyone's favour and only encourages our fellow members of the intergalactic community, who have more respect for life than our leaders, to engage in battle with us.

The only hope for our fine galaxy to become truly great once more is being squandered by our mad government. We do not engage in war, as the governmental barbarians do, but we engage in peace, for we are civilised and we can make a difference."

Cheers rose across the entire galaxy as the speech captured the hearts of the people. If the CDP joined a rebellion the whole galaxy would go with it.

The Harukabi Ship was in for a Surprise, a deadly Surprise. The Plaet Darkkaan's main Defense were a Network of Planetary Super Lasers, and one of them was soon Fired at the Harukabi Ship.

The Cassiopeiam IntellNet said today that Claims by The CDP and the Harukabi about a so called "Treaty of Darkkaan" is Fase. "The idea of a treaty is unfounded," said IntellNet Diecetor Tria'kaan Minm'tor. "We have found out that what The Harukabi are trying to do is to over throw The Empire and turn our Galaxy into a Colony and enslave us!"

In other News, The Imperial Military said to day that CGM has been ordered to stop Broadcasting.

The protesters continued to march, with plenty of media coverage.

They have continued to attempt to silence their opponents, and have yet to produce any evidence that my party has ever engaged in untoward behavior. Plasma fire rained down on Darkkan's military facilities, as other battlecruisers near shipyards and the like set about destroying them with antimatter missiles and the like.

Ooc: Harukabi Has Been Ignored! For Trolling And Godmoding!!!!

In Internet terminology, a troll is a person who posts inflammatory messages on the internet, such as on online discussion forums, to disrupt discussion or to upset its participants. "Troll" can also mean the inflammatory message itself posted by a troll or be a verb meaning to post such messages. "Trolling" (the gerund) is also commonly used to describe the activity.

I would suggest you do not be so hasty to label people that disagree with your methods. You bang 'IGNORE' whenever someone does something you don't like.

Could you justify why you think that the SSD should not have been destroyed? I'm happy to argue why it should have.

For instance, up to this point we have not been fighting a war, and the violation of a treaty in this case is responded to with arbitary destruction. Open and shut case. Had I made a 'normal' response, the whole point of not actually entering rebellion would have been defeated.
