OOC: You may want some more Knights and Huscarles. Also you own a small part of Sweden. And you dont have to be original with the names of territories but if you insist then you can look them up on wikipedia. Just remember to include schleswig-holstein

Yuri Kerensky wiped the blood from his arm. He had recieved many cuts galloping through the woods, and only now had time to patch them up. His next goal was to head to Denmark, the most civilized of the Scandinavian Kingdoms. He hoped to gain trading rights with the Danes and their extensive trading networks in the Baltic. Those would be needed if the Republic would survive.

Yuri's ship entered the harbor and put up a flag of truce. He spoke to the harbor master with a message.
"King Olaf,
Due to the anarchy that has thrown the Princedom of Kiev into chaos, a new entity has formed out of it. The Novgorod Feudal Republic hereby wishes for recognition and trade rights. We are looking for friends in these turbulent times, and we recognize the power of the Danish King."
The Harbour Master took the message to the castle further into the city, and after numerous guards and wierd corridors, he reached the Kings Sitting room. He knocked and after "Enter." opened the doors and passed on the message, bowing.
Olaf looked down on the parchment:
King Olaf,

We agree that friends are needed in these turbulent times, and thank you for recognizing us. Therefore we accept trade rights between our two lands, and wish for prosperity for both of us.
As the Harbourman left the room, Olaf sat back in his chair. Two alliances already happening. We have started well. he thought as he picked up a book and began reading..

Yuri beamed. The Danish King practically welcomed him with open arms, without even seeing him. Yuri thought about it and realized it wasn't his place. His next mission, and his most important yet, would be Sweden, the same people who had raided his homeland for hundreds of years. He lept into the boat and then sailed off.
A new royal has been born, Prince Knud has now joined the family and become a future heir.
