(OOC: Yeah, maybe it's a bad time to run it now, but I can't work without any government any longer. You may have been blown away by the vast numbers of elections, but use your spare time for this one. thanks!
P.s. It may not be very detailed, but I hope you can make up which party fits you most. YOUR Choice will make up a large part of the actual ending.)
International Opinions on Elections: Before.
The Van Luxemburgian Grand Duke has officially started elections this morning, by voting first. His choice is still unknown, but Van Luxemburgian citizens all over the world will quickly follow. The choices:
SDP (Sozial-Demokratisch Parteí)
Head: Jean Helmt
Former coalition leader. Is not expected to score high,
because of some Fraud cases in the government. Social-Democratic, and wants to improve Foreign contacts. Has nothing with the Church and is very conservative.
Expect: 40 out of 500 seats
LDG (Liberaal-Demokratische Group)
Head: Nicolas Hirtz
Opposition party. probably the best alternative to the SDP. Wants completely free Churches and less responsibility laying at the government. is ally of the RGP and will do their International/foreign relaionships.
Expect: 212 out of 500
RGP (Regional Gemeinwohl Progremm)
Head: Emile Gehn
Opposition Party. Wants more co-operation between the different regions in Van Luxemburg. Has nothing with foreign politics and therefore needs an ally, which has been found in the LDG.
Expect: 70 out of 500
CV (Chrëstlech Vollekspartei)
Head: Marie Handt
Opposition Party. Is Christian and therefore not favored in the opinions. Is also the only party who has a woman at the rudder. Is also pro-emancipation, with special equality programmes which favours women over men.
Expect: 45 out of 500
LCP (Liberaal-Communesteschpartei)
Head: Roger Michels
Opposition party. Liberal Communist, and is the only party with an head coming from outside of the Luxembourg province.
Is not a Die-hard Communist party.
Expect: 16 out of 500
DCP (Demokratesch-Centristpartei)
Head: Romain Gramt
Former Coalition party. Possible third coalition member. Centrist, and wanting to keep the costs down by trying to cut in the expenses of the state.
Expect: 117 out of 500.
Notes: A Van Luxemburgian party has first gone through the Grand Duke. thereafter, a pre-election round will be organized. if some will not
reach the electoral threshold, they will be removed from the actual election list. A government can only be organised with a majority of 300 out of 500 members of the Second Chamber (Parlement). First chamber elections are not of any importance now, as they are organized within the Second Chamber, based on names.
OOC: I hope someone will vote on the poll up above, so I can organize my government.
