Subject: Blueprints

With the recent lack of optimal performance of the Czardaian Air Force against Doomingslandi and Warmasterian forces, we have resolved to upgrade all existing planes with new designs (to be used in all future planes), as well as replace the long outdated AIMX-42 that was rather outperformed by enemy counterparts.

I hereby submit the following changes to be implemented in all aircraft:

Alterations in the design of the F/A-59 Dagger

The Dagger's double switchblade forward-swept wings will be sharpened to allow for optimal maneuverability. 4D thrust vectoring will be enhanced (no changes will be made to other maneuverability systems). The size of the Dagger will be increased slightly to allow for larger engines, altering the ceiling velocity from Mach 2.2 to Mach 2.4.

All Daggers will be equipped with anti-missile countermeasures such as chaff, flares, lasers, and explosive proximity rocket launchers (located just above missile hardpoints; see attached blueprints). All current planes will be upgraded as soon as possible. This priority should be the highest in our military.

Alterations in the design of the Skyblade F-60 Peregrine

The Peregrine's double engines will be increased in size, allowing for a ceiling velocity of Mach 4 with additional unofficial range extending to Mach 4.2. The armor will be hardened to allow planes to dive at this velocity if need be. The number of missile hardpoints will be increased to 10 from 8. 4D thrust vectoring will be added to enhance maneuverability.

Alterations in the design of the Skyblade B/F-9 Striker

Alterations in the design of the F/X-27 Kestrel

Alternations in the design of the B-68 Hailstorm

Alterations or changes in specific missiles:

The AIMX-42 LRAAM has fallen out of date and will be replaced by the AIMX-420 (see blueprints). These missiles will be smaller and easier to carry, while at the same time offering a larger range. The following changes will be implemented:

- Replacement of the AIMX-42's SCRAMjet engines with RAMjets;
- Adding LADAR guidance to the AIMX-42;
- Decreasing the size by 1/5;
- Increasing the range to 375km;
- Decreasing the number of warheads to 2 from 4.

The AIMX-420 'Jinx' LRAAM will have a velocity of Mach 5.1 and be guided by active and passive RADAR, LADAR, and IR. Its range will be in the vicinity of 375 km (240 mi). The missile, once completed, will be of use against any and all airborne targets excepting satellites and ortillery. All Daggers will be able to carry a maximum of 2 AIMX-420s (5 MRAAMs or 10 SRAAMs); all Peregrines a maximum of 5 AIMX-420s (10 MRAAMs or 20 SRAAMs); all Strikers a maximum of 8 AIMX-420s (16 MRAAMs or 32 SRAAMs); all Kestrels a maximum of 3 AIMX-420s (6 MRAAMs or 10 SRAAMs); and Hailstorms will not be equipped with the missiles.

Any other changes will be duly reported.
