Stupid Senators, thought Kellerman as he laid on his bed in his command cruiser, Who cares if I haven't been on the front line in awhile? This invasion is so small it will make no difference if the Emperor is here or not!

"My Lord, the fleet is dropping hyperspace, we have arrived. Your presence on the bridge is requested by High Admiral Sulla, sir." said the communicator on the wall.

Four minutes later, the Emperor walked into the bridge, greeted by the entire crew. He was dressed in a normal officers uniform, unusual for someone of his rank.

"Admiral Sulla?" he asked.

The elderly man smiled, "My Lord, we have arrived within the system. We are currently moving on thrusters towards the planet."

"Have the scanners picked up the Quaon fleet yet?"

"We haven't checked sir. We feel no need. No major threat." joked Sulla.

The 1rst Imperial Fleet slid gracefully through space towards Earth. The three Imperial Class Battle Cruisers, two Protectorate Class Battle Cruiser and the ten Typhoon Class Destroyers stayed in a close formation, protecting the Emperor's starship. Whilst the fifteen Victory Class Frigates patrolled the outer edges of the formation along with the eight support frigates and the three Star Launcher Class Carriers.

It was like a giant moving to step on an ant colony...

"Prime Minister, this is Admiral Froid. The Tal have invaded, I repeat, the Tal have invaded!"
The Prime Minister of Quaon looked shocked. He hadn't expected a real war, least of all one so close to his soil.
"Send your fleet in, hold them off as long as possible. We are preparing the planetary gun for fire. I repeat, hold them off, for God, and our people's sake!" Planetary gun... the Prime Minister thought More like a letter of surrender

Admiral Froid watched carefully as his Dreadnaught Class 55 Capital Swaip escaped Earth's atomesphere.
"Are our weapons locked?"
"Yes" replied Captain Torrath.
"Fire."
A Thermo-Nuclear missile fired from the Dreadnaugt. The Admiral atticipated the hit, victory/ Then our colony and those aliens will come and we will finish these imperialist idiots off. The nuclear missile made impact, and...bounced off the enemy ship. Oh my God, have mercy on Quaon.
The Admiral watched in surprise as their allies in the Solar System Bendack arrived-and were instantly destroyed by Tal's fleet. 4 million men...dead. They were doomed.

"Scanners have picked up incoming starships, Admiral." reported a crew member.

Turning back to the Emperor, Sulla asked "It's your call, my Lord."

Smiling, Alexander walked over to the front of the bridge and starred out the window at the planet he would soon be on. "Raise the shields, have the fleet charge it's weapons and prepare to fire on my command. I think we're close enough to the planet, launch all fighter and bombers. Perhaps we don't even need our starships to take out their fleet. Anyone want to bet on that?"

"A thousand dollars, Kellerman?" challenged Sulla.

Smiling again, the Emperor replied, "Of course, Admiral."

Around each of the mighty vessels of imperial might, a large bubble of blue appeared, then dissappeared, signaling that the shields were up. The great cannons swivelled to face the front, ready to fire their deadly rounds. The hangers opened, and out flew thousands of Stingers and TF-25 bombers, that kicked in their thrusters and sped away from the fleet in which they came, ready to engage the enemy.

"Status on Naggeroth reinforcements?" asked Sulla to an officer.

After a moment, the officer replied, "Sir, they are ready to deploy and could arrive within an hour of departure. The Sorceror King has also given us control of them if we need them."

The High Admiral nodded and walked over to the godlike figure that was the Emperor. Standing beside him, he too looked out the window at the planet, and at the thousands of small ships flying with towards the incoming enemy fleet. How war amused him.

Admiral Froid was angry. Very angry. He watched in awe as the starfighters took apart one of his starships in seconds. "Deploy the EMP mines, position them in front of our ships, and hide!" he ordered as a nuke was fired from his starship.

A section of the blue bubble reappeared for a moment around the ship that took the nuke, but then dissapeared again. The shields had barely been fazed by such a primitive weapon. But now it was the Empire's turn, time for humiliation.

The great cannons recoiled as the massive amounts of energy were released, flying through space with the utmost speed. The turbo laser batteries also opened up, giving a dash of red lasers to the show of blue energy balls.

The fleet moved in closer and closer, getting between the enemy ships so that all the guns could fire, not just the forwads batteries. It was pure carnage, a formidable lightshow would be produced for those down on the planet. The futility of the enemy defence was apparent, and would not last long. Soon troops would be landed on the planets surface, and these wretched people would be subjugated.

"Take evasive action!" Admiral Froid yelled. His starship barely avoided the laser, as another ship was swalloed by it. There were only 8 ships left, and a good amount of fighters. Suddenly, an explosion of epic proportions occured. Quaon's planetary gun fired straight towards the Emperor's ship.

_Back on Earth_
The Prime Minister of Quaon finally finished his letter of surrender. He handed it to his secratery. "Send this to the Emperor if they defeat our fleet."

The Prime Minister of Quaon launched his pride and joy, the Airfighter 82B. It was a protype, not yet space ready, but had formiddiable shields and lasers that could destroy most starfighters with ease. It would stay in the air in case the Tals tried to land troops, but there was only one...

The planetary gun fired, and it's shot slammed into a destroyer that had moved into it's path accidentally, taking the ships shields down to 58%. These people had weak weapons, one starship could have dealt with them easy enough.

"Destroy their fleet, then send down a transmision asking for their surrender." said Sulla.

After being rebuffed by a request of surrender, the Prime Minister of Quaon ordered the Planetary Gun to be fired again at the Emperor's ship. It's explosion hit the ship again, with as much force as the first time. "We can win this battle! For Chiom and Shilom!"

-In Space-
Admiral Froid shook his head as another one of his ships was destroyed. "Damn it, we should never have gotten involved with theses slavers! We've got only one choice: launch the big stuff."
"Sir! We need 30 seconds to calibrate the Trak Cannon!"
"Get behind the mines and calibrate it then! We need to beat theses guys unless you want to see your wife and kids on sale!"

The fleet continued to rain heavy fire upon the enemy, and, now within range, they started an orbital bombardment of the calculated area where their planetary gun would be. Everything was going well, nothing could deny victory for Taledonia, nor would a single starship be lost.

Message to Quaon Government

By Imperial decree, you are ordered to surrender. Tell your fleet, or what remains of it, to drop it's shields and surrender their vessels or be destroyed. All your ground forces are to surrender also. You have lost. Be wise, cut your losses, surrender to the Empire and we shall be merciful and allow you to join the Republic instead of being subjugated. Refuse, and your people shall be slaughtered, or enslaved and sold around the galaxy like the vermin they are.

OOC: I'm gonna brun stuff, don't worry Tal, we won't kill too many. plus those we do, we'll reimberse for.
Also, before Tal's offer for surrender.

IC: The prophets had been watching this conflict for a little while, and were now ready to sieze an oppurtunity to purge yet more sharquoi.

Seven spheres of white light appeared on the other side of earth. The prows that emerged from these composed a destruction fleet. One cruiser and six destroyers.

Being on the complete opposite side of the combat, they were unapposed.

The cruiser, Faith's Flame, was under the control of AI 34, it had proven itself in a few earlier actions.

Heretic fleet weak. Taledonians finishing them off. Burn the heretics.

The seven ships adopted a semi circle over the inian sub-continent(I assume it's like eart, since you are using earth)

All plasma weapons, chraged up, and unleashed burning flames upon the land mass below.

The technical term for this was Conquered Planet cleansing, but most called it glassing, due to the plasma burning and melting everything in glass.

Once a show had been made, if the planet didn't surrender, occupational forces would descend.

The Prime Minister of Quaon sighed. He had lost. He saw the transmission.

We of the Empire of Quaon surrender. I would like to talk to the Emperor in person to work out the conditions of surrender.
Jonathen Christianson, the Prime Minister of Quaon, had resigned himself to his fate. He wasn't going to live to see tommorow. He knew his predeccesor, Quin Orbor, would have avoided this situation. He sighed again, retreiving a pistol from his desk. He hid it in his cloak. He WOULD kill this Emperor, even if it meant his peoples ruin. He and his staff walked to their private S.T.A.R. transport to meet with the Emperor.

-In Space-
Admiral Froid watched in resignation. They had lost. He retrieved his pistol from his holster, hit the safety, placed it at his head, and pulled the trigger.

We await your arrival on our command cruiser.

The fleet stopped it's bombardment, and sent out bording parties to take control of the enemy ships that had also stopped firing as per the requests. The fighters and bombers continually flew by, patrolling the void incase anything went down.

The Emperor, now dressed in an extravagent white tunic which sat underneath the Imperial Armor of gold, stood in the main hanger, surrounded by sixteen honour guards, and with a thousand shocktroopers in formation on each side of him, creating a corridor which the defeated Quaon leader would have to walk down in shame before meeting the Emperor.

As Jonathen arrived, he drew his pistol.
"Jonathen, NO!" yelled the head of internation security in surprise. No one had knwon Jon would do this. The pistol had been drawn, and a single bullet fired at the Emperor. The Empire of Quaon was about to be extermainted.

The bullet smacked against the shielding that appeared then dissappeared again. Alexander looked at the man in fury.

"You dare make an attempt on my life, worm?! I should have known! Vermin like you cannot be trusted, and would never be allowed within the Republic! Your people shall be enslaved, and you, shall be hung by your entrails, and paraded through your streets to the horror of your people!" he spat out the words as he strode down the isle of soldiers towards the man. Then with a quick motion with his hand, smacked the Quaonian in the face with his fist.

The honour guards followed him, and arrested the rest of the crew that had come with him. Whilst outside, the fleet once again firing, the remaining Quaonian ships would be destroyed first, then the planet would be taken.

"Wait! Please!" yelled one of Jon's staff. "We didn't know! I swear, we didn't know! Please, don't hold this against the people of Quaon." The staff member grabbed the Prime Minister by the neck, grabbed his gun, and fired. The Prime Minister fell to the ground, mortally wounded. He said his last words "Heh, our mines are armed. See you in hell, 'cause that's were your going to be if you try and get to the surface." With that, he died.
"Please my lord, please don't enslave our people!" yelled Jon's staff. "We didn't know, please! Our people hated him anyway! He pushed us into war!"

(OOC: Sorry peeps, but gonna have to wait for a bit, cause I'm off to work for four hours.)

Back on the ships, the newly christened Admiral Suli knew what he had to do as plasma began to glass his starships. "Fire every weapon you have at the Emperors ship! S.T.A.R.s, get ready too bring in the Emperor as a hostage if he has an escape pod. Officer, fire the Trake cannons now."
Suddenly, the most powerful weapon in Quaon's fleet fired. They only had one charge. The Trake laser, moving at lightspeed, hit the Emperors ship with great force.
OOC: Look, I'll agree to let you decimate my fleet as long as that attack destroys your shields.
Edit: OOC: I've gotten one nation to ally with me. And where the heck are those Arcadia cowards? They left me to die alone and unloved:p

Flashes of light appeared just outside of The planet's gravity well. The Ships came out of hyperspace were huge. Cruisers, Destroyers, Battleships and a Carrier. And on every ship painted was a painted the Iron Cross of the second fleet. http://www.freewebs.com/arcadianfederation/r_flag.jpg

On the bridge of the carrier Ohio Admiral Verner picked up the transmitter.

This is the Arcadian 2nd fleet we have come to aid you Quaon. We apologize for the late arrival but assembling the fleet and the relative distance between our nations delayed us..... And this is to Republic forces call off your attack you have made your point you will get no slaves here.

While moving Froid's body from the command deck, Admiral Suli sent another transmission.

Thank you, Federation. Concentrate your fire on the Emperor's cruiser, we may be able to hold him hostage if he tries to escape and end the slave trade
Admiral Suli smiled. It was time to reign some hell. "All bombers, focus your fire on the Emperor's vessel. Battleships, fire all nuclear missiles at the Emperor's ship. Land control, make sure our troops are ready for a ground invasion, a prepare the planetary gun for fire." He looked at the Emperor's ship carefully. It HAD to have an escape pod. He knew his best pilots, Will and Chi, could exceute a manuever to claim the escape pods. "Red 51, Yellow 8, get ready for a Fire Crash manuever: target the Emperor's escape pod."
The fire crash maneuver was an extremly dangerous and difficult manuever. It required two S.T.A.R.s to thrust to top speed while firing their lasers indefinatly. The goal was to fly a few inches below and above an enemy ship at the same time, while timing an EMP charge that the thrusters and contiued lasers caused. The manuever was extremly taxing on the S.T.A.R.s: they would be low on power and unable to move quickly. The risk was worth it though: it could take down almost any fighter.

(OOC: Afternoon everyone.)

"Admiral, they are concentrating all firepower on our cruiser, and being intertwinged like this gives us no opportunity for the rest of the fleet to surround and protect us." reported an officer.

"Divert powe..." Sulla began to speak before he was cut off by the deep voice of the Emperor.

"Order the fleet to use the warp countermeasures. Get us behind their fleet, then open up. We'll take these bastards straight to hell." he ordered.

In a dazzling flash of light that encompassed the area of the battle, the Taledonian ships vanished for moments, right as the enemies weapon had fired too, tho it did hit a destroyer that was slow to get out, taking it's shields out. Another flash of light followed, this time behind the enemy fleet.

Turbo lasers lashed out, as energy cannons fired their great blasts of pure energy, powerful enough to create sizeable craters in a planet. The fighters and bombers didn't have warp capabilities, but that didn't matter, they remained engaged and continued to attack the enemy starships, leaving only a small number of TF-20s to deal with enemy small craft.

High Encrypted Message to Covenant

Move your fleet to surround the Arcadians, but do not engage unless they force you to. Cut them off from the battle, and make sure they understand what will be the penalty for treason.

Message to Arcadian Fleet

Stand down, repeat, stand down. This is treason not supporting a fellow Republic citizen, more so to a Consul.

These people have insulted the Empire, and by doing so the entire Republic. Why do you side with these dogs that insult you then ask for your aid? They do not deserve any aid. Get your priorities straight, Arcadia, what's more important, the Republic in which you belong, or some rogue faction that has no chance of survival against anyone?

But, because we are a fair and upstart people, who love the Republic in every sense, we shall abide by your wishes and not enslave these people. Tho their fleet will burn.

OOC: What about the mines? You would've just triggerd all the ones in orbit around Earth.

"The hell?" Suli said is amazement, just as he realized that he and one other ship were the only remaining ship. "Turn the ship around now! Take evasive action! Get our Star Fighters in front of us! Ground, fire the planetary gun at the Emperor's ship!"
Suddenly, in a blaze of blue light, the planetary gun fired straight at the Emperor's ship.

(OOC: I didn't warp that close to the planet, so I wouldn't be in proximity to the mines. Plus my reargaurd should be destroying them with turbo lasers now.)

IC:

The planetary gun slammed into the shields of the cruiser Defiance that had just moved to complete the encirclement of the Emperor's ship, making it virtually impossible to hit it.

"Send a cruiser down to the planet, have it land troops and take out that gun." said Sulla quite happily as he continued to watch the destruction of the enemy fleet with satisfaction.

The Protectorate class battle cruiser broke formation, and started heading down to the planet, simply destroying the mines that were still up, creating a clear path down. The hull glowed a dull red as it began entering the atmosphere, but that soon faded away as it emerged into the planets sky. Now it would be clear flying, just through the air and towards the outskirts of the capitol city.

"Thats it!" Admiral Suli yelled. "Take out the landing craft!"
OOC: If you think your landing craft is going to avoid my mines you will be sadly mistaken
IC: The Planetary gun roared as it hit it's target.
Admiral Suli was frustrated. Angry and frustrated. Suli wasn't a man to be crossed. "Fighters, be ready to Fire Crash any escape pods!" He typed one final telegram to the Arcadian Federation. If you have the same technology as theses Imperials, warp in front of them! We are about to lose our last cruiser, but our atomespheric protection planes and our starfighters are still operational!
The Admiral turned to his officers. Officer, are we within ramming distance?"
"Yes sir!"
"Set all explosives to detonate in 14 seconds!"
"Sir?"
"Do it!"

The Ship hit the Emperor's with deadly force, enough to possibly destroy the Emperors ship. The explosions ripped the Quaon ship to peaces, but the Emperor's....

Admiral verner. read the message. Then responded

Taledonia you were wrong to sell the Kazeci to the scum of the galaxy that is clear. You were the only people to brand them as Traitors. The senate never agreed to anything of the sort. You are the Traitor! You attacked and enslaved a member of the republic only because you thought their leavening was wrong. Its true by the time you attacked they had left the republic but you have no right to brand them as traitors only as prisoners of war. Yes they were your prisoners but you should have consulted the republic senate before you started selling them. You could have don't plenty of other things. And we gave you the option to do them. We never wanted a war. But You wouldn’t negotiate you had to have it your way. And for what reason? to get your final revenge on the Kazeci?

Its only for the sake of my and the Quaon people that I will agree to your offer. They surrender their fleet and you let them go.

He then sent a message to the Quaon

We have been defeated friend. Their is no escaping it if we tried to help you Taledonia will call the other nations of the republic on us get rid of us for good. Surrender your navy to them and they will spare your planet. Its not what either of us wanted but its better than our people being sold into slavery. Once again I urge you to surrender, We will help rebuild your navy. And we will do what we can in the senate to make Taledonia pay for his acts or at least insure they never happen again.

Admiral verner. read the message. Then responded



He then sent a message to the Quaon
OOC: If this doesn't destroy the Emperor's ship, I'm surrendering

The Emperor watched as the frigate that had intercepted the enemy craft exploded into a fiery ball that lasted only seconds. He then turned to the bridge.

'Well, that's that." he said.

"We've picked up a conversation between the Arcadians and the Quaonians."

THey all listened to it, and then Alexander and Sulla started laughing quite hardily.

"They actually think we are just going to leave them alone? We said we wouldn't enslave them, nothing about leaving them alone. I grow tired of this, recall the cruiser, we don't need the vermins DNA, I'm sure nobody would want clones of pitiful lifeforms as slaves anyways. Send the message to the Covenant." ordered Kellerman.

Well boys, you've earned it. Have fun glassing the planet. For the glory of the Republic!

OOC: You realize that the Earth is home to most of the nations. You can't glass it. And really, would you stop godmoding! For gods sake, you didn't even acknolowdge that I hit you! That would destroy your ship pretty since your shields down, and it actually hit you, not one of your worthless frigates! Also, I accuse you of attacking a planet a minute after it had just sent ambassadors to your pathetic empire before you attacked! We didn't even fire a shot! You can't do this! I mean, my fleets been decimated, and for some reason you think you haven't had a single casuality. If that's not godmoding, I don't know what is.

Otherwise, there would be millions of people fighting for the defence of their planet. Doesn't work.

Can we just render this war null and void, because I admit, I am a noob, and I didn't know how to have a war, and this made me realize how to go about war.
