LA Ice will begin exporting its own home-made military robotics within the coming week. These are designed for rugged conditions, and the prices are very affordable. We are creating large bots for base camps, small bots for exploring foreign terrain, and flying bots for air warfare. If your nation would be interested in buying a robot (should it suit your needs), then please make a post.
Thankyou.

And to wet your appetite, some sample pictures:

TALON, the portable military robot that will fit in a soldier's backpack. The one shown is configured for armed reconnaissance, however, it may be used to recover live grenades, and all TALONs now carry chemical, temperature, and radiation sensors.

The no-nonsense Frozen Destroyer Aircraft, which can be optionally fitted with 2 Hellfire missiles and a targeting system. It is also fitted with a hi-res video camera and a 180GB hard disk, capable of withstanding 800 Gs of force.

Mondoth is interested in your TALON line of robots and has a few questions about the line.

Can the TALON robots be fitted with weapons besides the M249 shown?

What is the operational lifetime of a TALON robot under combat circumstances approximately?

What is the battery life of the TALON robots and how easily are the batteries recharged?

What is the signal range for the TALON robot and its control interface and is the link encrypted?

What is the control interface like for the TALON robots?

How much does a standard TALON robot cost?

1. Small TALON robots can be configured with M240 or M249 machine guns or Barrett 50-caliber rifles for armed reconnaissance missions. The large TALON (which weighs 50kg) features a mechanical arm, and is able to use a number of other machine guns. However, there is a big price increase for that.

2. A number of our TALON bots have been blown up (one was blown up three times!), and they are all still functional, upon replacement of their arms, wrists, cameras, and wiring.

3. The rechargeable NiMH battery that comes with the TALON has a 3.5 hour charge, but the optional Lithium Ion rechargeable battery lasts up to 8 hours. The system is charged via AC power, which may not be available at camp, though it would be easy enough to get a solar recharge system working (perhaps even recharging the battery while the bot is working?)

4. The standard signal is via radio, and has a 500 to 800 meter Line of Sight. However, when used with a high-gain antennae, the range is extended to 1200km. It is encrypted into a code that can be decompressed only by the robot and the robot control unit.

5.The control unit is similar to that of a remote control car, but I assure you that this is not a toy. Most of the interfaces (moving around, mechanical arm, etc) are operated by joystick, and the guns are operated via trigger buttons. You may also view 4 of the cameras attached to the TALON from the control unit (otherwise you wouldn't know where to move it, would you?)

6. The small TALON robot costs approximately 1,500 dollars. If you wanted to include some of the optionals I talked about, it would add about 600 dollars to the total. The large TALON robot with a mechanical arm and the ability to use a number of other guns is approximately 2 to 3 thousand dollars.

I hope that I have answered your questions well. If you've got any more then please feel free to ask!

Optischer would like to order at least 10 of each robot.
If you create any offensive robots for battle, please notify us so that we may carry out the furtherment of our military.

Can the smaller TALONs be configured to use weapons of a similiar size and type to the M249 series (Such as our native LMG-11 SAW) and if not how much work would it take to be able to configure the smaller TALON to be compatible with the weapon mentioned?

I am sure that it would not take much work. All that would have to be done is to configure the trigger button, and move around some parts. If you would be able to send us an LMG-11 SAW, we would happily customize a number of TALONs to suit your needs.

The storefront is now open for business!

As for the customization of the TALON bots, I have telegrammed you, Mondoth.
