The nation this last weekend had voted. Impressed with the strong leadership and long stay in office of Lynx Raven Raide, The Lynx Alliance have decided, with Shiva's blessing, to give him the title of His Majesty the Archduke if TLA. After taking the reigns of government fifty years ago, Archduke Raide has survived every election since then. Though some call vote rigging, independant international observers have found that there has been no such thing. And here we are today, for the crowning cerimony of the Archduke. The placing of the crown is to be done by Shiva herself, the living goddess from the Frosbitaria province. We will now hear the address from Shiva.
"Never, in all the years i have walked this land, have I come across a greater statesman, or greater human being, than Lynx Raven Raide. He has served his people for fifty years, and has served them well, through both the good times and the harsh. He has been a friend to everyone, not afraid to leave Angel's Reach to talk with people. The fact that the people of Resistancia, the people of Kiaonisys, and the people of my own province of Frosbitaria, joined together and voted to make Lynx Raven Raide eternal ruler says more than I ever could. So with this crown, I dub thee Archduke Lynx Raven Raide, Eternal Ruler of the Mythically Futuristic Archdutchy of The Lynx Alliance."
The crowd here, as most probably all of TLA, are joyous in celebrating this magnificent occasion. Now, the newly crowned Archduke will address us.
"Thank you, all of you, throughout The Lynx Alliance, for bestowing upon me this high honour. I am humbled buy the gratitude of this position, and hope that I can serve you, the people, well in this position, both at home, and abroad. When I heard about the petition for this reforendum, at first I have to admit that I thought it was a joke: who would really vote for me to be installed as royalty, the Eternal Ruler, as you put it? Whilst I do reluctantly accept this position, i am gracious for it. I try my best to serve you, and I do not expect any rewards. The honour of representing you is enough. At this point, I will announce that, despite you placing me in this position, we will retain parliament, and will continue on as a democracy. I will, however, still play an active role in this, but democracy should still continue. Again, I thank each and every one of you, for you all are an honour to serve."
