Notepads at the ready they waited for the big announcement, they came from every corner of the world, this was a truly global event. Around the globe world leaders sat nervously, waiting. Suddenly, the lights went down and the national anthem began to play, when it had finished the two great oak doors were flung open, out of them walked the democratically elected leader of Basicota, Ricardo Hortzanto. His platform was lit up and he confidently walked to it, throughout his nation the creak of every step as he mounted his podium was heared."Ladies and Gentlemen" he began, "We live in dangerous times, we face threats from crazy dictatorships regularly". Around Basicota people drew in a breath, was this it now? was he about to announce the long-awaited news? They listened hard but all they could here was the press pens scrathing away at the pads, he had stopped, just as uncertainty came over them he began again."So, to our peace loving people I present, for our own defence, The Nuclear Bomb!" There was a loud gasp "we will use it only for defence purposes and only if we are attacked, we will never choose to go to war!"With that he turned and was gone as he zipped through the grand doors. His chief scientist mounted the podium "we have built 5 small bombs capable of destroying a small city" He took a breath "and 3 of those are on Long-range missies ,thankyou" he to turned and swept out of the room, throughout the world leaders began to think over this new and troubling development.

Wasting a small nation to impress an imgainary senate is quite stupid and imperialistic. Instead of comending Basicota on this impressive feat, you act like children and make fun of him. Basicota, we also hope you use these weapons of war as a detterent and never fire them in anger. THe Holy Republic of Islam-stan congratulates the nation of Basicota on their achievement in gaining nuclear capability for civilian purposes, however we do not agree with the nation developing nuclear weapons at this time. As it says in the Surah 2, verses 190-194:

2.190. Fight against those who fight against you in the way of Allah, but do not transgress, for Allah does not love transgressors.

Allah teaches that people should remain just, even in battle, and avoid excesses such as uncalled for devastation through the destruction of fields and livestock, and other similar acts of injustice and brutality. Nuclear weapons would so effect this destruction.
