Assault on Sienar Fleet systems(ATTN CW/US)

Any sensor array would have seen the FTL signatures a couple hundred light years away. Two hundred different ships of all kinds were shooting their way through the warp. There were battleships many times the size of a standard imperial Star Destroyer. Even the “small” escort classes such as the cobra and firestorm were larger than the Star Destroyer’s, even if it was only by a couple hundred feet.

The rip in warp space would have been felt by psykers, jedi, sith, and any galactic-attuned people. What emerged from the giant rip was a fleet made to conquer. Their prize: Sienar Fleet Systems, the major production facilities of all kinds of TIE fighters and a couple specs of capitol ships. They were out by a quarter of a light year, and steamed at full power.

Immediately after exiting the warp, the ships entered combat formations. Fighters were launched to provide close-end support for the massive warships. Long range torpedoes, nova cannons, and super-ion cannons were put online, and ready to fire.

At the head of fleet was the flagship, a Retribution class battleship, called the Undying Flame, at the command of Admiral Asagai. His voice rang out through all coms on all ships, his tone strong, powerful, and meaningful.

“We will take this system! We will pillage its docks and technology, and we will claim it in the name of Azaha!”

OOC: As far as I know, they don't have a centralized one. If they did, it'd probably be at Kuat. And that opens up another can of worms, like how he found Kuat and all that.

Every company has an HQ. Sienar Fleet Systems and Kuat are rivals aswell, they both have/had a gravity well-prokecting ISD design up for grabs, so I doubt rivals would have their HQ's together.

Of course, but I'd assume to how closely you try to follow canon to the SW-verse, that these would be different companies, with different HQ's, and different docks and production facilities.

Upon detection, a massive number of singularity torpedoes were thrown at the Azaha fleet, followed very closely by a fleet of fifty Star Destroyers forming up into an arrow and concentrating their massed firepower on the enemy's flagship. Fighters roared out by the hundreds and began to engage the enemy. And the two stationary superlaser platforms defending Siener Systems primed their systems and fired upon anyone not specifcally Imperial. What the Imperial Navy lacks in size compared to Azaha's fleet, they more than make up for in sheer firepower. Especially when defending a major shipyard.

Shields flared from the enemy's opening attack, but they held rather well.

Asagai bellowed, his voice inspiring his crew around him. "Open fire! Spread out! All ships launch torpedoes! Fighter craft, prepare to launch! Nova cannons, charge and aim for those super-lasers! Ion cannons, fire right down the middle of that wedge! In one fail swoop, we can eliminate most of those ship's shields!"

Just as the torrent of imperial fire rocked Asagai's ship, the fleet went into action. The fleet of 200 ships started to spread themselves out so that a superlaser wouldn't wound a number of ships at one time.

The battleships and carriers launched their torpedoes, each of them 60 meters long, great anti-capitol ship torpedoes they were. The other cruisers and escorts launched their own torrents, but these torpedoes significantly smaller, but just as deadly to unshielded targets.

The cruisers and battleships armed with Nova cannons set their sights on the super laser platforms. Each platform had ten Nova cannons aimed at them. And with a pop, they launched their near-speed-of-light projectilces at the lasers. One nova shell could disable many capitol ships if they detonated in the center of a group, but nova cannons were not known for their accuracy. The time fuse set into the shells were hit-and-miss.

Only escorts were armed with the newly developed ion cannons. There were ten of these Rend class destroyers in all, and they focussed their fire on the center of the spear of star destroyers. Ion cannons were just as powerful as nova cannons, but did nothing to bare hull. They were also much, much more accurate then their cousins.

But during all this fray, damage was taken aswell. One superlaser cut right through a cruiser and her three escorts, reducing the cruiser to a dead hulk, and obliterating the escorts. The other superlaser caught an Emperor class carrier as it started to spread out from the formation. The superlaser grazed the starboard side of the ship, reducing the hangers on the starboard side of the ship to slag, and nearly crippling the great ship.

The singularity missiles also made their way to the fleet. The smaller cruisers and escorts were able to dodge the ones aimed at them, well most of them. Some carriers were damaged, but more small escorts destroyed. The bigger battleships and super carriers were the ones that suffered. All they could do was power their forward shields to full and take the damage. The shields gave way quickly, as they were supposed to so they could recharge and come back online in the matter of minutes. But the armor took the damage. The heavily armored prows of the retribution class ships were able to take most of the torpedoes, but the emperor classes were not so lucky. They did not have the armored prows the retributions did, and suffered major damage. Most emperors had their sensitve sensor array blown away, and their prows bare to take damage.

Asagai's ship tried to fare. A single, or even five Star Destroyers couldn't harm a retribution very quickly, but the combined force of fifty ships, coupled with the missile assault left Asagai's ship at their mercy. All the ship could do was fire its lance batteries at the enemy ships, and speed towards the spear formation. Bit by bit, the massively armored prow was being blown away.

Every fleet asset continued to concentrate their firepower on the flagship now. The superlasers shifted targets to the Retribution battleship to compound the damage caused, not to mention a second volley of singularity missiles.

There was damage. The lead elements of the arrow formation were hit and destroyed. Ships found themselves disabled under the onslaught, but continued to fire everything they had with independent-targeting turbolasers.

But the fleet continued moving into the enemy forces. And they called for help...

"Prepare to abandon ship!" screamed Asagai. Of course by the time the superlaser fired, it would most likely be too late.

But tactics were still put into use by the lesser commanders. The battleships and heavy cruisers were going to drive themselves right into the midst of the enemy fleet. From there, the cruisers and battleships would do their most powerful attacks: Broadsiding the enemy with inumberable amounts of small guns, missile systems, and las cannon fire. These broadsides were made to damage ships as big as the cruisers and battleships, they would make short work of the star destroyers.

Meanwhile, two detatchments were made. Each consisted of two emperor carriers and twenty assorted escorts. They headed straight for the super laser platforms, in a spread manner so that one superlaser bolt would only destroy or cripple one ship at a time.

The special weapon onslaught continued. Nova cannons continued to fire at the super lasers, and ion cannons targetted the center of the star destroyer fleets. Torpedoes en mass were launched at the enemy ships, and longrange torpedoes launched at the super lasers.

The singularity missiles were becoming an annoyance. Even though the shields on the craft already struck by the missiles had replenished, the damaged prow armor still took more hits. Ships part of the center fleet were damaged more, and a few escorts destoyred this time.

But this was in a much better shape than Asagai's ship. As one superlaser fired, it sheered the flagship in half, almost evenly. The second blast struck the disconnected front of the ship, desinitgrating it, and leaving the back half alone, and a motionless hulk.

These broadsides were made to damage ships as big as the cruisers and battleships, they would make short work of the star destroyers.
The Star Destroyers adjusted their positions so that all their fire will now be concentrated on the enemy bridges and other weak spots as they crashed through the front lines of the enemy fleet.

The shields flared brightly, bringing them down to about 75% and then the superlasers unleashed another barrage at the Emperor carriers. Then a trump card was played. When the enemy came close enough, a torpedo sphere was revealed from cloak and spammed the enemy with a severe swarm of missiles and torpedoes of all shapes and sizes.

The singularity missiles were becoming an annoyance. Even though the shields on the craft already struck by the missiles had replenished, the damaged prow armor still took more hits. Ships part of the center fleet were damaged more, and a few escorts destoyred this time.

With the flagship destroyed and after the Emperor carriers will be dealt with, the superlasers will continue to deal with other major capital ships as necessary.

In the meantime, a reinforcement fleet will soon be brought in...

As the Star Destroyers broke the lines, the broadsides of the capitol battleships and cruisers let loose their torrent of broadside fire. Massive amounts of cannon fire, lasers, and missiles were spread upon the Star Destroyers. Anything caught inside these torrents that weren't the size of the Retributions and the cruisers themselves would be torn apart quickly. At the same time, massive lance cannons on the dorsal mounts of the ships shot at the enemy spear before those ships in the mid and rear could even reach the line. These lance batteries were meant to peirce the shields of huge ships, one could only imagine what they'd do to these Star Destroyers.

Meanwhile, the ships did take damage. The bridges had more power shielding brought onto them. The battleships and cruisers could deflect a few SD's bolts with ease, but escorts had more of a problem, and had to resort to evasive manuvers. It would take multiple star destroyers to even hope to penetrate the shields and armor of even the bridge.

As the super lasers shot, one carrier from each detatchment was hit. But the others kept going. The carriers left released their swarms of fighters and bombers. six squadrons from each carrier were sent out.

The fighters targetted the missiles heading directly towards the carrier, and did point defence duty, assuring only a few made it to the carrier, where the shields dispatched them easily. The escorts had to resort to dodging and relying on their own point defense systems. Nearly all the escorts were hit, with with varying damage, only a few of the escorts didn't have their shields penetrated, those who did had their hull struck directly. Thankfully, only a little less than half of the escorts from each group were disabled or destroyed.

After the fighters took care of the missiles, the fighters and bombers streaked towards the super lasers. Escorts steamed behind them as well, going about as fast as the fighters and bombers. As with the capitol ships, each squadron spread out so that one super bolt wouldnt destroyer the whole fighter detatchments. The bombers and escorts, while on the way to the super lasers, launched again a torrent of torpedoes. at each of the super lasers.

These lance batteries were meant to peirce the shields of huge ships, one could only imagine what they'd do to these Star Destroyers.
The initial broadsides broke the shields and hulls of several Star Destroyers, but a reinforcement of shielding from the reactors fixed that and it would be harder now to destroy the Destroyers.

And that's just what the Imperial Star Destroyers did. They concentrated all their firepower on one bridge at a time, not caring about the retribution they brought upon themselves. Whether ten or twenty or all of the fleet were destroyed, they are the Empire and nothing will keep them from taking as many of the enemy out as possible.

The fighters targetted the missiles heading directly towards the carrier, and did point defence duty, assuring only a few made it to the carrier, where the shields dispatched them easily. The escorts had to resort to dodging and relying on their own point defense systems. Thankfully, only a little less than half of the escorts from each group were disabled or destroyed.
The torpedo sphere moved forward with all shields reinforced and closed the range between itself and the escorts before it sent a second salvo of torpedoes concentrated towards the bridges of the escorts.

The superlasers shot out again and again to destroy the carriers, and thier point-defense beamlaser cannons (LAAT ones writ larger) slashed their way through the enemy fighter and bomber and escort ranks. Less powerful than the superlasers, they still pack a serious punch when necessary.

And still the shipyards were left relatively untouched, their nearly planetary-grade shields capable of taking stray shots with ease. And the reinforcements are nearly arriving.

Lance cannons and broadsides were still brought to bare on the Star Destroyers. While one cruiser or battleship took the damage of being fired upon, the others would simply pick off the Star Destroyer's with their firepower. The few battleships that weren't being fired on simply steamed their way into the middle of Star Destroyer groups, intending to ram a few, get right on the middle, and unleash concetrated fire on a couple Star Destroyers at a time as to destroyer them quickly.

As the sphere moved forward, the one or two frigates that were equipped with ion cannons let loose their debilitating fire arcs. Only those escorts that took the time to fire their ion cannons were destroyed, the others had enough time to pitch upwards and/or dodge the missiles that had been fired.

As the super lasers lashed out, one carrier was severely damaged by its port side getting sheered off, but the other one reduced to a hulk. The fighters and bombers that were closing on the platforms bobbed and weaved through way through fire. They moved in ways that were nearly unpredictable, and left no obvious pattern, as they were trained to do.

The bombers were picked off one by one, but not in the large numbers as the enemy hoped. The bombers released their deadly payloads on the superlasers, plasma bombs and high-yield torpedoes. Of course one strike wouldn't be enough, but they would come back again to make their 2nd runs.

One a grand cruiser, the Purgatus, a low level rear admiral watched the battle from the cruiser that had relatively been untouched. That was their communications ship, who had seen some fighting, but tried not to be too obvious.

"Status report" he barked at a sensor operator.

"Medium casualties, we started with a bit over 100 escorts, around 50 survive. 75 cruisers of all classes, 68 survive. Carriers, out of 10, three survive. Battleships, out of 5, two survive."

"How the hell is a small force like that picking off our ships?" he asked himself more than anyone, but the sensor operator chimed in again.

"Super lasers, sir. One of the captains had formed two strike groups to take them out, the strikes are still continuing, but it isn't looking good. Otherwise, these Star Destroyers are relatively no match for our cruisers and battleships."

"Indeed, but those strikes will fail against those super lasers, then we're sitting ducks. Anyone we can call on for aid?" he asked the communications officer.

"Scanning through... not many, sir. Wait, the Abh, they have a reserve combat fleet."

"Good, call them in, ask them to go on strike vectors of those super lasers, send all coordiantes of the docks and super lasers to them, I want to those damn lasers taken out."

"Aye aye sir."

The fleet by now was getting decimated, but it didn't matter as the dying ones began to ram into the closest large ships they can.

As the sphere moved forward, the one or two frigates that were equipped with ion cannons let loose their debilitating fire arcs. Only those escorts that took the time to fire their ion cannons were destroyed, the others had enough time to pitch upwards and/or dodge the missiles that had been fired.
The ion cannons smashed into the shields, lightning flickering across it and the sphere rolled to present fresh shields. The missiles that missed began to reaquire their targets and turn around to shoot at the remaining escorts. And the Torpedo sphere spat out another few thousand missiles to spite the enemy.

As the super lasers lashed out, one carrier was severely damaged by its port side getting sheered off, but the other one reduced to a hulk. Enemy damaged ships began to ram the cruisers and battleships. When the Star Destroyers tried to ram, of course they tried to blow away the enemy ships before they even got to the point of contact. But still, a few were confirmed to have rammed some cruisers.

On the detatchments, they were all but decimated. Most fighters and bombers were destroyed and tried to retreat, while the three or four escorts left from each detatchment tried to limp away.

The two remaining battleships, one was cut in two like the Undying Flame, the other that was hit by the weaker of the two took direct prow damage, the prow barely holding against the weakened blast.

As the huge SSD broke from hyperspace right off the battle cluster, ships began to scatter out of its way, but ofcourse a few cruisers being rammed in the process. As it fired all its weaponry at one cruiser, it held out for about 5 seconds before the hull shattered.

But this was the perfect time to use the nova cannons. Usually these cannons that were capable of crippling ships their own size were useless against smaller ships. But now this 19KM long behemoth, so firing Nova Cannons was like shooting the broadside of a barn with a shot gun from a foot away.

With that, the cruisers equipped with Nova cannons, roughly 15 of them, all aimed at the SSD, and let loose their cannons. Because the ship had dived right intot he middle of the fleet, it there was no range, so this vastly increaed probability of hitting the ship.

The other cruisers all launched their high yield torpedoes at the SSD, while the remaining escorts formed squadrons, and started to focus fire on indivudual Star Destroyers.

Upon the arrival of the Executor, the ships continued to ram into enemy cruisers and those still surviving continued to concentrate their firepower on cruisers after cruisers.

As the huge SSD broke from hyperspace right off the battle cluster, ships began to scatter out of its way, but ofcourse a few cruisers being rammed in the process. As it fired all its weaponry at one cruiser, it held out for about 5 seconds before the hull shattered.

"Fools." Admiral Dorvan smirked. He knew that even with the nova cannons, it would take a hellishly long time to bring down the shields of an Executor-class commandship. It'll take something like a superlaser to seriously threaten them in any short time. "All batteries, intensify fire on the ships carrying the Nova cannons. Tractor beams, grab an enemy cruiser and ram it into other ships."

The other cruisers all launched their high yield torpedoes at the SSD, while the remaining escorts formed squadrons, and started to focus fire on indivudual Star Destroyers.
He continued to calmly issue orders as the shields maintained their holding at about 95%. "Star Destroyers, concentrate fire on the rest of the cruiser escorts. Torpedo rooms, load singularity torpedoes and fire to assist the Star Destroyers, then follow up with high-yield torpedoes."

The Star Destroyers intensified their own firepower to destroy the cruiser squadrons while swarms of torpedoes streaked out to either suck up enemy ships into oblivion or blast them into space dust. No one messes with the Empire and gets away with it...no one.

"Yes sir."

And with that, all ships made the jump to the warp, ripping time space itself into shreds and entering the other dimension. No matter what they were doing, firing weapons, being fired upon, they jumped to warp. Those caught in tractor beams ripped free from the pull of the warp, and made the jump.

All that was left now were crippled ships and disabled hulks.

Roughy twenty escorts escaped, and about 60 cruisers. A victory on the imperial part that would be short lived.

On the communications ship, damage reports flooded in from other vessels, then the com officer recieved the news they wanted, sort of.

"Sir, They can spare a battlefleet of twenty-five ships. But it will take them a bit to get here.... But, Code Vengeance was authorized, Admiral Harper sais you owe him big time. Guessing you want them to do what was previously planned?"

The rear admiral laughed, "Harper, he can kiss my ass... yes, send them."

Then he commed all ships once again. "Prepare for battle, jump into the warp, cut them in half!"

With one big warp tear opening, the fleet of 55 or 60 ships slipped into the warp. To them it only seemed like seconds, but in the 3rd dimension it was about 10 minutes.

They popped back into existance, nearly 200KM away from the Imperial battlefleet. The 11 nova cannon cruisers that were left fired their payloads, but again this was a long range, but ofcourse the enemy battlecluster was a bit dense, with the big SSD target. All other ships launched longrange medium-yield torpedoes at the ships.

More salvos were launched. The fighting was more or less now out of desperation, or so it seemed. Ships went every which way, in an un-tactical manner.
"Keep firing! Don't let up for a moment!" Admiral Dorvan ordered as another four ISDs were taken out of the battle. The Executor, fleet Destroyers, superlasers and beamlasers continued to fire salvo after salvo of devastating weaponry upon the final numbers of nova cruisers before they went on to target the rest of the enemy fleet...

Behind the sun opposite of the main battles and super laser platforms, numerous small ships popped into existance. There were about seventry of them, all 400 meters long. This was Code Vengeance, fast-attack ships. They were variants of the new multi-role carriers put out, but these sacraficed hanger space for a fold space generator, something completely different from warp drives. These made very short instaneous jumps with extreme precision. These were the last-ditch ships that were being put into production.

After popping into existance behind the sun, the suddenly dissapeared and flashed into existance right beind the super lasers, 35 in each group.

With that, they released their torrents of small craft. 50 small craft from each ship. Each ship held ten heavy bombers with torpedoes capable of bringing down an SD's shields with a direct hit, then there were 20 heavy fighters, these escorted the bombers in, they were equipped with shields and were highly manuverable, carried multiple anti-fighter missiles, and had forward firing guns. The last type of fighter were point defense, 20 fighters from each ship were PD fighters, which focussed on destroying incoming fighters and missiles. In total, it was 3500 craft.

All the heavy bombers and heavy fighters streaked towards the superlaser platforms, while the PD fighters stayed behind to protect from missiles and enemy TIE's.

The ships themselves had a very powerful shield system, but with a very weak hull. These shields could withstand a few wipes from the beam weapons before failing. On either sides of the bridge they carried four weapon barrels. They could be configured to carry MAC guns or rail weapons, these ones carried MAC guns.

The cap ships fired their MAC weapons at the platforms themselves.

Meanwhile, the cruisers were getting decimated, but they only needed to hold out for a bit longer. The nova cannon ships were all destroyed.

The beamlasers and superlasers used their final salvoes of heavy-duty weaponry to take out the cruisers before they were destroyed by the massed numbers of weapons from the newcomers.

Just before the FTLi powered up to stop them winking in and out at will, the droid fleet, numbering over 100, entered the system to bolster the defenses, Then the FTLi went up over the entire system to prevent anyone from coming or going via FTL. After all, it would take several hours to get to the battle itself with fast sublight engines and by that time, it would be over. And the planetary governor sent a warning to Imperial Command that battle is raging at Siener. Soon, the other major shipyards of the Empire -including Kuat- was ordered to be totally locked down until further notice.

In the meantime, the Executor and her remaining fleet of 22 ships continued to decimate the cruiser fleet as the droid fleet sent out its extremely nimble droid fighters and bombers and concentrated on the newcomers.

There was roughly 20 or 30 cruisers left, but they didn't stand a chance. All of them were damaged, most to the point of barely being able to fight. But still they fought on, trying to buy the spec-ops fleet more time before they were finally destroyed.

As the droid fleet entered the system, the heavy fighters turned their attention on the enemy ships. The interceptors did their job at fighting incoming enemy fighters and missiles.

But the ships and the bombers all focussed their attention on the ship yards. They targetted the massive facility. The carriers charged their MAC weapons and shot it repeatedly. Salvo after salvo of anti-capitol ship grade missiles were shot at the facility. Over 1100 bombers did their missile and bomb strikes. Full payloads of plasma bombs and more anti-capitol ship missiles were brought to bare on the facility. After they accomplished their strikes, they would return to the carriers and reload, then launch soon after to repeat their strikes.

The Super Star Destroyer fired final broadsides into the enemy fleet as the Admiral ordered the remaining 15 ships to come about and stop the new enemy in the area. Once the enemy was destroyed, the SSD too will turn to the newcomers and get rid of them.

As the droid fleet entered the system, the heavy fighters turned their attention on the enemy ships. The interceptors did their job at fighting incoming enemy fighters and missiles.
Nimble, numerous droid fighters fought their way through the enemy heavy fighters and interceptors, trying to upstage them while twenty of the capital ships blasted away at them with turbolasers and ion cannons.

But the ships and the bombers all focussed their attention on the ship yards. They targetted the massive facility. The carriers charged their MAC weapons and shot it repeatedly. The bulk of the droid fleet, combined with the remnants of the Star Destroyer fleet, targeted the ships and bombers and let loose with salvoes of powerful weapons. Even so, the shields of the shipyard facilities weakened rather quickly, although defensive turbolasers from half-built ships and the edges of the shipyards added to the firepower displayed upon the enemy. It was getting increasingly tough for the defenses to continue holding on to the shipyards...

The last of the cruisers did their best at fighting before becoming disabled. A lot of the ships weren't destroyed, but disabled, and millions of naval personnel were trapped on the ships.

With the droid battle, the inteceptors did their jobs best they could at keeping the enemy fighters and ordinance off the capitol ships. The droid fighters were manuverable, but they pilots wouldn't let a bunch of circuits out-do them. Capitol ships were hit by the enemy fighters, but as soon as that happened, the interceptors would swoop in and deal with the fighters that broke through.

The heavy fighters drove themselves into the droid capitol ships. They swarmed each ship like a hive of angry bees on an animal. They repeatedly shot and launched missiles at the big ships, some were gettign destroyed in the process, but the sheer number of fighters swarming a few ships at a time was staggering.

Meanwhile, the bombers still did their jobs. Though some were getting shot down, bombers were equipped with minor shielding systems so they could take a few hits before failing. They continuously did their bomb and missile strikes on the station. With the last of the majr cruisers disabled, they seemed to work double time to destroy the shipyards.

Hi,
don't mean to interject, but I am a neutral party and have strategic tips for both sides.
If I recall correctly, SFS base world is the planet of Bilbringi, which, in turns means there is a Crystal Gravity Trap located there. This CGT is able to actively detect manipulations in the gravity feild. Which means that with slight calibration they could act as an interdictor cruiser or eve just a giant tracking device. Another use could posibly be to rework the energy input/output array of the CGT to create a giant singularity or even sheilding array able to deflect lasers, ram ships with a large energy feild, create sheilds for heavily damaged ships, or even suck up entire fleets. For the Imperials, I would suggests capitalizing on the CGT by using any of the options above or even its primary one of as a sensor. It could be used to detect those pesky fighters which destroyed your Superlasers. For the Attackers, I would suggest capturing the CGT at Bilbringi and possibly then attacking the much more profitable Kuat yards. Bilbringi only produces small fighters and a few star destoyers -- Kuat is where the capital ships are produced. Taking Kuat would give you an incredible leg up in the war. At one time there are 3 Superstardestroyers like the Executer under construction. Another benifit of taking the Kuat system is that it is a superior shipyard. Bilbringi is just a collection of Asteriods that serves not real purpose than to be a back up manufacturing plant should Kuat, Fondor, or Corellia fall. Kuat Drive Yards was awarded the contract for teh Eclipse class star destoyers, a behemoth 10x the size of an original star destroyer complete with 10 gravity well projectors, 500 heavy laser cannons, 550 heavy turbolasers, 50 squadrens of TIE interceptors and 8 squadrans of TIE bomber. Its main weapon was a superlaser 2/3 as powerful as the one on the 1st death star, poweful enough to crack the shell of a planet. Sooo, kuat is the one worth defending. Also, if you persist on fighting here, at least try to capitalize on the many astroids of the Bilbringi system. Both sides could cleverly utilize them

OOC: Ah, thank you, kid. Was wondering where Siener's HQ was. Nevertheless, let's get back to our regularly scheduled killing.

The last of the cruisers did their best at fighting before becoming disabled. A lot of the ships weren't destroyed, but disabled, and millions of naval personnel were trapped on the ships.
A final volley of singularity missiles went out to the doomed ships to destroy them and then the Super Star Destroyer began to turn its attention on the spec ops ships.

And the sheer amount of fire output by the more numerous droid ships were equally numerous as they helped each other take out the enemy fighters, aided the swarms of droid fighters with the interceptors or assaulted the capital ships themselves.

Finally, after what seemed like an eternity to take down the shipyard shields, one section of the shipyard shields failed and engineers ran about to prepare for hull breaches.

OOC: Heh, I don't really care what's in the system of what Sienar does. I'm here to kill sienar, not Kuat, I know what I am doing. And who are you to come in here AFTER a battle has started to start throwing around your *obviously* greater knowledge of the SW universe. But we're in the middle of a battle here, so... ja.

The heavy fighters swarmed, darted in and out every which way. As the enemy cap ships started to turn their attention ont he mother ships, some started to throw themselves into the enemy fire, trying to save their mother ships.

The interceptors excelled at dog fighting, or they were intended to. They were small, light, and unshielded ships with big engines for their size. Pitch battles insued with the interceptors as they tried to keep the enemy fighters of the ships they were meant to protect.

On the rear of the capitol ships, there were large anti-fighter weapons, but instead of firing in fighters, they fired on the enemy cap ships, returning fire. These wouldn't phase enemy shields, but if they could strike ships with no sheilds, then they would rip into the hulls.

Bombers kept up their relentless attacks. They pounded the installation. They now started to target specific areas, such as hanger bays and fueling areas(As a station should have to fuel newly constructed ships).

The losses were starting to mount, but not quickly. Several carriers were on the brink of losing their shields, which were notoriously difficult to destroy, but once the shields were gone, their hulls were like wet paper to turbo blasters.

Of course, the droids manning the guns didn't care one way or another which enemy was killed as long as they all were dealt with. Still, they tried to concentrate on the capital ships.

Droid fighters were also small and nimble, but they had light shields so they had staying power over the enemy. Still, many of them became scrap metal, and many of them tried to turn the enemy fighters into space dust.

On the rear of the capitol ships, there were large anti-fighter weapons, but instead of firing in fighters, they fired on the enemy cap ships, returning fire. These wouldn't phase enemy shields, but if they could strike ships with no sheilds, then they would rip into the hulls.
Of course, all of the droid ships had shields, but under the relentless onslaught of enemy fire, about five of them had shields weakened enough for the large weapons to pierce them...

Bombers kept up their relentless attacks. They pounded the installation. They now started to target specific areas, such as hanger bays and fueling areas(As a station should have to fuel newly constructed ships).
Explosions occured along the shipyards as fuel tanks and ships under construction were destroyed, as well as several large civilian ships in for repairs. Hull breaches were reported, killing multitudes of people, military and civilian.

The losses were starting to mount, but not quickly. Several carriers were on the brink of losing their shields, which were notoriously difficult to destroy, but once the shields were gone, their hulls were like wet paper to turbo blasters.
The final blow was place by the Executor as it bore down on the enemy craft and blasted away with its weaponry, followed by the 14 remaining Star Destroyers.

All of a sudden, tactics changed. With the spec-ops capitol ships starting to be destroyed, they started to move away from the enemy fleet. They fired one more round of MAC weapons, and one last salvo of torpedoes before they started to move away.

All the heavy bombers started to ignore the droid ships, and foccussed their attention on the contruction yard. What ever missiles the heavy fighters had, they launched them at the yards, and sprayed them with .75 calibre weapons. As did the bombers, they swooped in and out. They aimed for anything that looked important and flammable, they intended to make the station explode in a hellish fire.

The interceptors were on the defensive more than ever. They swooped in behind the carriers and made all their shots count as best they could, having difficulty with the droid fighters.

They could be useful for the Imperial cause... The Admiral thought. "Reroute firepower to the ion cannons and fire at the capital ships. I want them disabled! All clonetroopers are to prepare to board the ships."

As a heavy barrage of ion cannon bolts from the Executor and her fleet lashed out at the enemy spec-ops ships, the clonetroopers prepared to assault and take the ships for the Empire.

More and more sections of shipyard were destroyed despite the best efforts of the fleet and all the droids. More and more good Imperial citizens died to the evil Azaha's fire. And more and more did the station become damaged...

The interceptors were on the defensive more than ever. They swooped in behind the carriers and made all their shots count as best they could, having difficulty with the droid fighters.

The shields of the spec ops ships flared. These mighty sheilds were able to deflect a few ion cannon bolts before they failed and reached the hull of the ship. As the bolts reached in, systems started to fail, the top-of-the-line plasma drive engines fluttered to a halt, but the ships kept drifting at a good speed.

As the capitol ships started to pull away, the bombers started to punish one point, a nexus point. Great radiation readings were being emitted, so they had assumed that this was the power core.

They all started to bomb this position, surely any armor meant to protect the reactor would have been obliterated quickly. Finally, as the bombers started to pull away, they all launched the last bits of their missiles at the core, then did a 180 and tried to bolt out of the eventual explostion radius.

To the horror of Admiral Dorvan, the shipyard's reactor detonated, taking what's left of it in a brilliant explosion not unlike a nova. He ordered revenge on the enemy, to destroy all those that haven't been disabled yet. fighters and droid ships rained retribution on the bombers while the Executor and the fleet of 14 blasted the enemies with brilliant broadsides.

As the reactor detonated, the blast caught several bombers who were still trying to make it away from the blast radius, destroying them instantly. The disabled spec ops ships that had been disabled were rocked by the explosion, the shields flaring brightly before they failed, the hulls barely surviving.

But, also as the reactor exploded, fighters and bombers began pouring into the carriers again. A general emergency landing procedure was in affect, all fighters and bombers were to land no matter how close behind each other they were in the landing line. While this caused much accident, it was effective in landing the mass number of small craft in a very short amount of time. Inside the carriers, if fighters couldn't get out of the way fast enough, and others crashed behind them, a small remote bull dozer would come in and push the wreckage aside. No medical team dared to brave the hanger bays, so all pilots crushed or dying had to wait until all ships had landed before they would recieve help.

As the fighter numbers started to fall because of them landing, the functioning carriers blasted their plasma drives to full. Again, top-of-the-line engines propelled the ships at a great speed. If even enough time, they could accelerate the carrier at 70% the speed of light, in thoery.

But, some carriers were destroyed horribly before they could start accelerating. As fighters poured in, the carriers would explode in a good sized flame, the fuel and plasma drives of the carriers igniting under the firepower.

On board the four disabled carriers, the crews scrambled to get ready for boarders. They were disabled, not destroyed, thus the enemy could want to do one thing if they disable a target. The only people onboard these new carrier classes that were trained in combat were the pilots, but all of them had gone to land in separate carriers. They were a few reserve pilots, but these carriers were vastly outnumbered and outgunned.

"Clonetroopers, take to the disabled ships." Admiral Dorvan ordered angrily. "Everything else, destroy the remaining enemy!"

As assault shuttles roared out to take control of the four disabled carriers, the rest of the fleet blasted away at the other enemies in revenge for destroying the shipyards. The damage was intensive and it would take weeks, even months to restore it to operational status. Even so, the destruction won't do much to the whole Imperial War Machine...

The powerful plasma drive engines propelled the ships with great speed, the massive cooling plates on the rear of the ships slowing starting to become red hot, these were powerful plasma drives. Only one more ship was destroyed, several others battered before they started to pull away.

Onboard the four disabled carriers, the captains stood on their bridges. They knew what they had to do if they failed to repel boarder, and they hoped the ion guns didn't knock out the self destruct systems.

The rest of their crews grabbed what ever they could. With nearly 90 pilots gone, they were down in numbers by alot. There were few weapons, only a few las guns. Others grabbed what ever they could think would be good swords or clubs.

Clonetroopers clamped onto the disabled ships and started boring in with fusioncutters and satchel charges, and then once they got in, they poured in, firing stun shots and flinging flash-bang grenades. After all, their orders are to capture the ships, and that includes keeping the crew alive for interrogation.
