[OOC: General Announcement]

HailandKill

When I first created a nation-state the name I chose was more of a joke than anything else. When I first got into role playing on the forums, I was new, had not engaged in any wars and thus the problem of my name had never arisen. Recently I was asked the question, whats the plural of your country? I did not have an answer to this, or any answer I had dissatisfied me. I thought about how I had screwed myself with this name, but I did not want to lose my population all because of a name.

I came up with the best solution today. Instead of using the whole nation name in the plural, from now on to describe plural of citizens, armies, et cetera I will take the last word of my nation name, which is kill, and pluralize that.

So the new plural form to describe anything HailandKill oriented, will be Killian.
This will clear up wordy plurals of my name, and make things easier.

Thanks for reading.

I should make one of these. I'm tired of being called a nation of "Czardians", "Czardasians", and even (Mod forbid) "Czardlings". *shudders*

What? You ask what the adjective is? *stares coldly* "Czardaian". It should have been obvious. :p

Thats half the reason I did this, so you and Mac knew how to adress my men in plural form, rather than scratching your heads.

Heh. It was purely coincidence, I assure you. Damn Irishmen as teachers!

If you are having the trouble of plural form, then you should definatly copy my brilliance :). It is indeed a pain in the ass to not have your enemies address you properly. Hey, atleast I now know the plural of your name; one less person to tell.

One down, 113,769 to go.... :D

And it's not just my enemies. Even my allies have come up with outrageously creative versions of my adjective before I set them straight. ;)

Uhh... put it in your sig? That autta clear up any future confusion, eh Czardas?

It's irked me to no end being called "TCE" (Dominion of the Candrian Empire) when, if I ever refer to my nation, I always used "DCE". (Dominion of the Candrian Empire)
