The Kirisubo embassy exchange programme

We are expanding our diplomatic contacts slowly but surely. We have established an embasy in The-republic and wish to create more links.

A large tower block (Shogun Katsushiro tower) in the centre of Edo, our capital is available for office space and has 30 floors in it.

Theres also a smaller towerblock near the waterfront which works out as another 10 floors worth (the Empress Miyu building).

if any nation is interested in exchanging embassies can they state which floor of the whatever building they require, any special requirements, the name of the ambassador and a breakdown of the staff they will bring with them.

Embassies will be established under the UN's Diplomatic Imunuty Act unless a nation wants to negotiate a separate friendship treaty.

As we are expanding our reputatiob, we willingly supply our ambassador to you.
It's name is Quadritary fused Ambassodr Unit.
We request that we be able to buy a sq mile of land near your capital, and pay your men for labouring. We will of course use our own resources.
http://egj.lib.uidaho.edu/egj18/picture2.jpg is the sort of building we will make.
We hope to make the lower levels a museum of optischer, it's traditions, citizens, etc.
We look forward to working with you.
Optischer.
P.s. You may build an embassy in our country if you want free of charge.
Kirisubo

We are agreeable to your proposal. You may well want to use a floor of one our existing Ambassadorial towers in the meantime. If you specify which one we can reserve it for you.

We don't need a new building for a Kirisuban embassy. An existing building is much easier for us to work with. We would need offices and accomodations for 10 staff including an ambassador in your capital city.
Our needs are few, the main one being a central location.
Optischer
05-12-2005, 21:13
We have holo pods reserved onto our embassy center. This will mean your people can enjoy your own culture, or any they wish.
We would prefer to build our own building, as we would prefer to remain in control of our own security, but only as a precaution, not an offence
Kirisubo

Now may we receive the name of your Ambassador so that we may welcome him to our hallowed halls.

our ambassador will be Ms Keiko Takamoto.

She will have 9 staff as follows

a press secretary
a cook
two security people
five clerical staff

Once a large enough building is secured for their use and apropriate accomodations on the premises they will move in.
Little India
05-12-2005, 22:02
Don't mean to be picky, but, like Optischer, we would like to build our own building. Hope this is satisfactory.

Ambassador: Baron Garistrathon of Silinar
Staff: 50 embassy and administerial staff
Security: none

Our building is of white portland stone, with a central dome. An esplanade in front of the building will contain an equestrian statue of High Queen Donna I (to be supplied by us). Thankyou.

You are welcome to send an Ambassador to Little India - your embassy will be constructed in the eleventh level of Ihayel, chief city of the Little Indians.
Optischer

We have located a pod preferable to kirisubans, and await Ms Takamoto's arrival.
Please specify which form of transport she will be arriving in, so that we can make preparations for city transport.
Kirisubo
05-12-2005, 23:09
Little India,

we can agree to your request as well. With the number of staff that Baron Garistrathon is bringing I can see why you need your own building. we can set land aside for your embassy close to the site of the Optischerian embassy.

Mr Saruji Odomo will head the small ambassadorial team of 10 people including himself and will arrive by military aircraft in your capitials airport in three days time.

Optischer,

Ms Takamoto and her team will be arriving by a military transport plane along with the equipment and furniture they'll need.

they will be flying onto your capital cities airport in two days time

We welcome the Fatherland of the Roman Republic to the Empire of Kirisubo.

we can provide a few floors in the Empress Miyu building which should be enough space for all the staff and weapons you are bringing. You may even need the whole building.

we are however concerned about the size of the military arsenal you plan to bring. We are a peacefull nation and crime is unknown here. beyond sidearms for your guards i doubt you'll need all that weaponry.
Roman Republic

We understand. We need this as a precaution. Since we have a few floors of a building. We will remove the GAU-19/A 12.7mm Gattling Guns, Mk47 40mm Grenade Machine Guns, Javelin Anti-tank launchers, and Stinger SAM launchers. The M16A4s, M240Gs, Marine multipurpose bayonets, Combat Uniforms, Shotguns, and Ka-Bars will be put into the armory. The rest I did not mention are for Dress uniforms. You may place an embassy in our country. Make sure you have security.

we accept this compromise and will send a ambassadorial team to your capital once we have secured an appropriate building to house the embassy. Your suggestions would be appreciated in this matter.

our needs are modest and our usual complement of the ambassador, press secretary and 8 assorted staff will be sent as soon as possible.

A copy of your nations laws in english would be appreciated since we don't want to break any of your local laws.

Security personel will also be included in the embassy staff, armed with their automatic pistols and swords.

we accept your request and once you can arrange a building for the Kirisuban embassy to reside in we will move our staff into it.

1. The Ambassador, Embassy staff and Security have diplomatic immunity.
2. No weapons are allowed off embassy grounds, except a pistol for guarding the Ambassador and his staff.
3. All forms of communication are not to be tapped or hacked.
4. All Infomation are property of the Country's government, they will not include infomation.
5. Any crimes commited to any citizen or property damage, for example, murder, assault, robbery, rape, vandelism, etc, are punishable by the Country's law.

My government is agreeable to setting up an Embassy in the Roman Republic on the understanding that the Diplomatic Immunity Act is implemented in full. The same will apply to your embassy in Kirisubo.

If a crime is committed in the Roman Republic we reserve the right to carry out the punishment we have in Kirisubo for the same crime if guilt is proven.

If this can be agreed then we will have no problems with your other embassy rules including the limitations on handguns outside the embassy.

You may also want to bear in mind that we have an ancient law on the Kirisuban statute books that allow Samurai to fight honour duels with swords and other bladed weapons. I doubt your staff will need to fight one but if someone is killed in a honour duel no charges are brought against the survivor.

I look forward to hearing from you,

Our government will be able to properly look at your application after the new year celebrations.

We have two ready prepared buildings in Edo set apart for foreign embassies.

The 10 storey Empress Miyu building on the waterfront part of our capital already has the Roman Republic's and Kageshima's embassies installed there but with there half the building still free as well as 5 sub-levels space is not an issue there.

Situated on the river in the vibrant Shinjuku district you'll be close to the city centre but far enough away to find an oasis of peace. Shinjuku is where the people of Edo come to enjoy themselves after dark. Theres bars, clubs, tea houses, restaurants, cinemas and a modern shopping centre all within a square mile of the embassy building.

Our other building is the 30 storey Shogun Katsushiro which is still unoccupied. Set in the busy city centre you will be close to the seat of government and one hour away from Edo International Airport.

I will be in the UN Mission for a few more days before it closes for the new year celebrations If you have anymore questions.

We are happy enough with the make up of your diplomatic team but request that when outside the embassy they only use concealed pistols so the guards don't alarm our citizens.

If you are happy enough to operate the embassy under the principles of the UN Diplomatic Immunity act we are as well.

I've marked your mission down for the ground floor and half of the 1st sublevel of the Empress Miyu building. Your living accomodation is built into each floor at the back of the building so that is all arranged. Theres an underground carpark and you'll be within a square mile of all the amenties and entertainment facilities you'll ever need.

The Socialist of Ato-Sara wishes to enter an embassy exchange program with the nation of Kirisubo.
We request space at Shogun Katsushiro tower, in exchange Kirisubo would be offered a building in Pei' Tzu district in the Capital of Quanoi and a consulate in Lo Ti Finh city's prestigous Dan To business district.

The Embassy would consist of between 400 and 500 staff guarded by a single company of Jade Guard. The Guards would be equipped with standard R-12 Assault rifles, P10 PDWs and P-4 Tactical sidearms. Vehicles will include D-88 utility Vehicles and a single D-42 Howler S/ST.
The Ambassador to Kirisubo will be Daiki Heng, any questions on Ato-Saran policy may be directed to him.

We hope you will agree to this exchange.

having consulted with my foreign office they have concerns with the large amount of armed people and the arsenal they are bringing.

We are a peace loving people and the Empire is very safe. We can handle 500 embassy staff but there are no living quarters in The Shogun Katsushiro building.

If you can reduce the guards weapons to PDW's and Pistols, the vehicles you plan to plan to bring with you and the number of guards we may be able to come to an agreement. The building is right in the middle of Edo and a large amount of troops with armoured vehicles would alarm our citizens.

Other than that we would be happy to accept an embassy exchange providing that the Diplomatic Immunty Act is implemented in full.

Having consulted with my government they are agreeable to the new military force size.

I also phoned the foreign office and they were wondering how you would house all the staff and guards. They did make enquires and were able to tell me about a large hotel that is a block away from the building.

The tram service is very efficent so your staff won't have to battle through the usual Edo traffic jams on the way to and from work.

The hotel can be leased from the buildings owners until proper living accomodation can be built nearer the Shogun Katsushiro building.

Even if we started building quarters now it would take at least a year to complete them.

Your embassy and staff will be welcomed. In Pei' Tzu district there are some hotels and residential flats but they are very expensive, however Ji Xi District is adjacent and connected by rapid transit buses and trains. Ji Xi has large residential complexes and flats at resonable prices with more than enough room for your staff.

Our samurai guards will be equiped with their standard MP-5 SMG's, 9mm pistols and their swords.

It will probally take a week or two to organise everything but I think we can settle our people into their new home by the middle of January.

an exchange of cultural information, local laws and customs as well as some local phrase books would be appreciated prior to our embassy staffs departure.
