In Space

Dratheria's Legacy powered up it's sensors and transporters. The transporters would be used to safely evacuate the pilots in case there were any problems.

On the Planet

The Transport pulled up alongside the site and it's mech trailer unfolded inside were four mobile suits including, Heavyarms, Tallgeese III, Griepe, and a Wing Zero. The other two racks appeared empty. Suddenly Lortas's voice came over the comms, "Alright Lirtas I have outfitted the Heavyarms with an Omnidium plating and have as such lowered the weight of your mech and so your speed is increased. Kiltas and Kara I had to disable your units flight modes so they cant fly. And as well you have new shields plated with omnidium to withstand increased attacks. Also the hands on your mechs have been outfitted with omnidium except for Lirtas you have Power Fists instead." With these words said Lirtas disembarked off of the rack and two sonicbooms could be heard as Wing Zero and Gundam Griepe disappeared and hid in the city with their full electrochromatic shielding activated. Lirtas moved forward in his mech at blinding speed and took up a firing position in the courtyard of the building numbered 18. Lirtas dropped a number of mines on the way covering all walking entry points by the enemy.

No sooner had the announcement gone out that the match would be starting was the battletruck and occupants dropped to the surface and rumbled to the battlezone, arriving at the same time as Team Hitokori.

"Well, we're up. First match. Ready?"

"We're all ready here, SKAL."

"Let's go, then."

The three Kbots walked out of the back of the mobile base near point 4, and radioed the opposing team. "Best of luck. May the best team win."

The kbots were modified since their entry (I posted their changes on the hub thread before I found this one) and the Elttinwroe was dangerous to come too close to now. Fitted with a modified (Non-Lethal) version of the Commander's D-Gun, it had the capacity to put any mech who came into its limited range out of action with a single blast.

Of course, said gun needed to be fired at the mech equivalent of 'shotgun range', though more useful in the confines of the city than the long range howitzer.

"Sensors picking up heavy EM shielding at waypoint 18. Proceed to Waypoint 8 and fire for effect."

Lortas sent over a message wishing the other team the best of luck then came over the comm saying, "Hey boys and girls by these readings it says that these mechs are outfitted with power discharge terminals so when it comes to close range use your power swords. But the strange thing is they are outfitted against chainguns that won't help them here because of the beam weaponry. Alright now all we have to do is wait for this Judge."

The Judge Satellite (http://www.angelfire.com/anime4/darkzoids/images/zoidsc1840.jpg) in orbit over the combat zone waited for both teams to signal that they were ready. Once this message was recieved by the massive station, it would launch a Judge Pod containing the Battle Judge (http://www.angelfire.com/anime4/darkzoids/images/zoidsc1272.jpg) that would oversee this match.

(OOC: It's an anti-grav field, and will slow anything going through it by a couple of times escape velocity. That's normally on it. The 'power disruption terminals' are more to overload melee weapons that get through. It's a discharge terminal, anyway.)

The truck rumbled over to waypoint 8, and the team radioed their readyness to engage in combat.

The mechs on the team all checked in for readiness and powered their mechs up for combat. As Lortas's vehicle mobilized to waypoint 17 and armed it's Ancient shielding. Lortas yelled over the comm, "For Mercer and the Emperor!"

After both teams had signaled their readiness, a hatch cycled open on the bottom of the Judge Satellite. The pill-shaped Judge Capsule was launched out on its top rockets. It became a flaming arrow as it entered the atmosphere.

Few minutes later...

The Judge Capsule struck the ground to the side of the center between the two teams. After the dust cloud that had arisen from the impact subsided, the Judge Capsule was revealed to be sitting in a small crater. The upper part of the front hinged open revealing the Battle Judge inside.

"Are both teams ready," it spoke aloud and broadcast on all comm channels.

OOC: I'm going to need to know which team is on the left and which is on the right for the next part of the B.J.'s routine.

OOC: I'm on the right

IC
The mechs powered up and the Gundams sounded as they were brought to full power and the units readied all of their weapons systems. And the pilots yelled, "For Mercer and the Emperor!"

(OOC: Lortas drives the transport, right? They're no-goes for being shot at, unless of course a team attempts to abuse this. Like using it as a wall.)

As were the Resipisco Kbots. They did not have a battlecry.

The Jethros took the time to adjust their aim for wind and accuracy.

OOC: Thanks. (Going to go abc order by color name this time).

IC: The Battle Judge raised its blue right arm and said, "This is a match between the Blue Team, the Hitokiri Team from Dratheria," it raised the red left arm, "and the Red Team, the Resipisco Team from Hakurabi."

It held the arms out for a second and said, "Ready," then quickly crossed them, "Fight!"

The match had started.

OOC: Yeah Lortas drives it but Lirtas is in the Heavyarms. And the shield it uses is for while reloading the mechs or switching their armor out. Oh and the shots are quick bursts not the powered up shots that's too dangerous. You saw Wing Gundam or Wing Zero do this once in the series.

IC
Heavyarms moved and all at once it's missile pods on it's shoulders opened up and began shelling the enemy mech positions with heavy missile fire as EM grenades were thrown to blind the sensors of the enemy units. And on either side of the enemy position Gundam Griepe and Wing Zero decloaked and fired off shots from their buster weapons from long-range. Zero fired off ten successive burts from it's twin buster rifle and Griepe fired off ten shots from it's Buster Cannon.

The three mechs maneuvered as best they could to avoid the crossfire, and using their unique shielding to arc as many of the bolts towards the two mechs.

Being struck was unavoidable, however, and a number of bolts made contact with the Fido Mech.

The Jethros opened their missile banks and hailed rockets on the Heavyarms' position in a Katyusha fashion, lacking the sensor data to accurately aim. Their goal was to hit the Heavyarms by saturating the area with their plasma rockets. The Elttinwroe, on the other hand, broke out at a full run towards Wing Zero, leaping in a vaguely graceful way, angled to expose it's armoured underbelly for something like a tackle/crush maneuver. (Crush in that it could dent armour.)

As for the missiles, it became a panic as the secondary AI turrets attempted to shoot down as many of the incoming munitions whilst the Kbots ran about. There were still impacts, as always, though it helped that the Anti-Gravity Shielding triggered the missiles and their biggest worry was thermal damage.

Heavyarms met the attack head on and as the missiles struck his armor it increased in strength and hardened for defense however on the right arm the plate was destroyed and the plating compromised for the break in the armor itself. Heavyarms went up and over the building throwing grenade clip after grenade clip while landing it pulled out it's beam gatling guns and it's other internal ranged weapons opened up and let loose a storm of fire on the Jethros. Meanwhile Zero moved at lightning speed to doge the attack and produced it's Power Sword and the comms opened up as Kara yelled, "Zero System activate!" With that the mobile suit glowed a golden aura and it became lightning fast with the ability to predict the enemy movements. Zero then began to do amazing pirouette attacks with her blade attacking at the Fido mech with a blade like plasma. As for Griepe he produced his Power Sword while holding a Hyper Mega Particle Launcher in the other hand and began firing the Launcher at the Jethros.

(OOC: Come on, premonition? You've got mechs that you claim are ten times faster than mine and several times heavier! Right, that's it. I'm going to make them absolute blurs to compensate. I was hoping for a mechwarrior-style hunt-and-seek battle fully using the environmental buildings.)

The Power blade wholly failed to penetrate the Anti-Gravity Shielding, having not even achieved twice escape velocity.

The Fido was faster still, being designed to a minimum of weight and of recently dated military design. An entirely predictable 'surprise' came as the D-gun whipped around with lightning speed and delivered it's devastating charge at point blank (Or as close to it as possible with the shielding).

The Jethros inexplicably sped up into little more than a fading afterimage as automated rebalancing systems (Calculated based on opposition's mechs) increased their speed to far more than usual. Reloading their rocket loadouts from the truck, they 'blurred' to near the Heavyarms and unleashed a second salvo at short range.

(OOC: I'm still here. Could you please IC'ly make a ruling so I have a good reason for breaking combat?)

OOC: Ruling on what? Though, due to certain physical laws, I don't see any mech can move as fast as stated without some form of boosters (like Zi's Zoids have Ion Boosters).

OOC: Feel free to restart with a new thread. I can just copy and paste my IC posts to there. I'm not going to stop you, but you will have to get the opposing party, in this match, to agree to a reset.

Sorry guys I just got diagnosed with a bad case of Mono so I will post tonight or tommorrow depending on how I feel. And as for the booster thing it does have boosters as well as anti-grav engines and even MIDAS drives which are incorporated on our special forces Mechs. All of this allows them amazing speed and maneuverability.
