The Iranq Exile (Open FT)
The last thing Rel remembered of Earth was being shot.
At the time, his platoon was outside the capital city of Golp. The Victory Landers were closing in on all sides, having captured all of Iranq except Golp. The defenders fought hard, but they all knew the war was lost. It had been lost since the bio weapons were deployed last summer.
"Rel, we have to go." Rel's friend Casey urged him as they both ducked under the weak force field.
"Ensign, we can't abandon everyone! They'll die!"
"Sir, we can't save anyone else. We won't accomplish anything by staying behind."
"Casey please... leave me here. I'll die with Iranq."
A micro nuke burst behind them. Rel heard the screams of the men he had fought with for so long as they were hit. The lucky ones died instantly. The nuke also shorted out the force field.
"Rel please! We need you. The future of Iranq depends on people like us."
"No I won't...” Then Casey shot his friend, stunning him.
"I'm sorry. I hope you'll thank me later." Ensign Casey said as he carried his friend to the ship the Hope.
The Hope, hours later.
Rel awoke and immediately looked out the window.
"No. Please tell me he didn't..."
But he had. When Rel saw Earth, he knew Casey had brought him on the last ship leaving it.
Rel immediately got up and got to the bridge. It wasn’t hard to find since Rel had helped design the Hope, even though he never intended to be on it.
When Rel got to the large circular bridge, he found Admiral Jansed in the center seat.
"Commander Rel, your awake. We've rendezvous with the fleet."
"How many made it sir?"
"40 ships. About 5,000 people. Hard to believe that’s all that’s left of us..."
"Yes." Rel said. He pushed aside what he was about to say: "Hard to believe any one of us wanted to liver to see us reduced to 5,000."
"Admiral do we know where we're going?"
"No."

Transmission from Ha’Tak class warship Osiers to Iranq fleet
This is the Nebarri Empire warship Osiers to Iranqin fleet. We are willing to allow some people from your fleet to come aboard. Do you happen to have any form of transporter on board your ships?
OOC: note, a Ha’Tak transmission automatically makes the speakers voice become amplified to make the persons voice sound “godish”

Admiral Jansed,

"We do sir"
"Make the jump"
The ship then vanished in a twisting spire of light that then to vanshed.
"We're through! Contacts, R.I. says 40 ships."
"Open a channel."
To Iranqin Fleet:
This is captain James Falken of the Flightopian Cruiser Shadow Diver, you say you are in seach of a new home, we would be happy to escort you to a unhibated moon of one of our home planets. Provided that you are human. If not we can show you planets or moons that can be teraformed by us to your specifications. We are sorry for your loss. We also can bring you to one of our orbital space port in a close by system where you can get supplies. We can bring you supplies now bu we only have so much on this ship. Do any of your ships have stuttle bays, if not we could send one to dock. Please respond over.
Message from The Hope
Osiers , we are equipped to dock, but all transporter tech we developed was rendered useless after Victory Land disrupted it. May we dock? If so, I wish to send my second officer Commander Rel along with a small detachment of officers.
Thank you,
Admiral Jansed
On Board the Hope
"Finally! Good news!" Corporal Clasidu said as he suited up. "After Three Valleys I didn't think it was possible!"
"Corporal, after we lost the Battle of Three Valleys, I knew good news had flown away and settled in Victory Land." Rel said. "Until now."
They had been in space for a week. Rel hadn't seen or heard from Casey at all. He had heard the ensign was onboard the Terra Venture trying to distribute food. When he saw him, Rel wasn’t sure if he'd punch him or hug him.
"Okay everyone. Be careful. We don't know who these people are. They look and sound pretty advanced." Jansed told the boarding party for the third time.
"We'll try not to start a shooting war Admiral." Dr. Granson said. Everyone in the room looked at her. "I'm kidding!" she said with a chuckle.
Of everyone on the ship (Probably the fleet) Granson was taking this the best. She had lost most of her family years ago, and since then, she had been working on the Hopeproject. Everything she cared about was with her now.
Few could say the same. Rel kept hoping his third cousin whom he had only met once was alive, but the rest of his family was confirmed dead. The commander wasn’t even sure why he cared if someone he barely knew survived.
Because he's all you got left. Beggars can't be choosers. Rel's subconscious told him.
"Okay, just make sure this goes well people. This is the difference between life and death for all of us. No screw ups." the Admiral told them.
"Good luck." He added.
Message from The Hope
Shadow Diver, thank you for your offer. Yes, we are human. If you could, we would appreciate some food for some of our ships. The Victory Landers radiation weapons ruined too much of what we brought.
We would like to see the moon before settling just to make sure all our basic needs are met there, but if so we would like to settle their.
Thank you. You have helped bring us out of our hour of peril.
Admiral Jansed.
The Hope
"Two contacts in a day! That’s probably unheard of!"
"Who knows what’s unheard of out here Ensign." Jansed replied to his navigator.
"I always thought when we finally made a first contact it would be all over the news at home. It might even turn the wars tide." The navigator said. "I didn't picture... we'd have no home."
"No one did. Except maybe Dr. Granson."
The crew laughed. They'd been laughing a lot in the past week, though in the state they were in what they laughed at wasn’t necessarily funny.
"Now come on. Lets save our race."

On the Shadow Diver
"Get the food in the shuttles, and hurry the skipper wants us space-side in 15 minutes."
The crew of hangar bay 5-A were working over time trying to load the 15 pelican shuttles with all the food they could find, as getting more would just mean makeing a quick jump back to base.
25 Minutes later
The 15 shuttles glided without a sound towards the Hope. In the lead shuttle was the XO of the Shadow Diver Ben Galss, under his command a party of 50 to unload the supplies.. He steped into the cockpit and put on one of the headset mics and keyed the transmit buttion.
Hope, this is Ben Galss, XO of the Flightopian ship before you. I have 15 shuttles loaded with food and medical supples. We request either docking clearence or if you have stuttle bays a landing clearence. I also carry the specs of the moon you can enhabit for you to view, over.

Glass after receiving the clearance switched the radio to the flight's frequency, "OK boys, we have clearance, bring em' in."
After a few minutes the comforting sounds of docking reverberated through the shuttle. As the crews unloaded their cargo, Glass stepped into the ship, taking in its features "A fine ship," he thought, " if only Jane could be here to see it.” He sighed then proceeded to supervise the unloading.

It sung, it soared, it gave a baleful cry of joy as the sleek, powerful form of the Dragon [Pic: http://www.ambrosiasw.com/games/evn/desktoppics/Polaris_Dragon(1024x768).jpg ]slipped through the inky black sea of space. Yet, there was not one voice that rang with the tune. A second mind, a second string of laughter and mirth cried out with the first. Two beings wove into one: a ship and his master.
Then, a pause in the song. A twain of grief and disruption. Both the master and the servant felt it. Both grasped at the resonance against their very essence.
A single, solemn message:
Attention any recipients of this message:
We are the Iranqin nation from Earth. We have lost our home and are in search of a new one. We are in dire need of aid. We appreciate any help you can give us.
Admiral Jansed,
Commander of the fleet.
Earth. Terra.
Such a long time since the master had heard such a name. The Heart of the Old Empire. The Enslavers and the Nurterors. The Beginning and the End.
Onboard the organic ship, a green, throbbing pod began to split. From this crack burst forth a waterfall of grey-blue fluid. As the tumult cascaded on the soft floor, a single man could be seen inside the ships' depths. She had blonde hair just past her shoulders, though it was dripping with the fluid from her seat. He was wearing what appeared to be a form of ceramic/plastic armor: though it was quite light and barely covering his body. Two deep purple eyes gazed from behind heavy-set eyelashes, his almost elfin-like face contorted into a yawn.
As the man stood, the liquid on his 6'2" body quickly fell to the floor as though someone attached every drop to strings and pulled.
<well nik'kolyosh we have visitors>
He did not speak as these words echoed around the ship. A strange cry eminated after his speech, as the words flooded both the halls of the craft and the man's head.
<agree:aid:give>
<do you think so>
The man's face became contorted with thought, contemplating the ship's request.
<i suppose so after all we cannot stop while human life is in danger prepare to drop out of cloak on my command we must first judge if they are what they appear to be>
<agree:plan:execute>
The man nodded, closing his eyes. He reached out with his mind's eye and began to gaze at the flowing weaves of the universe. The entirety of existence was stretched before him as nothing more than twists and turns of energy, thought, and matter.
Soon, he had found the one named Jansed. With an ethereal hand bound to his thoughts, he tugged at the Admiral's weave.
To the Admiral, he would feel the following message wring in his head. It would not be in speech; no identifiable language or voice. Instead, it was composed of thoughts, ideas, and understandings. Basic emotions and thought that formed into comprehensive patterns:
<do not be alarmed admiral jansed please do not be alarmed you are not going crazy nor are you delirious i am communicating with you from not far away via thought please do not panic my name is aylarel i am a friend to you if you hail from earth long ago my people and i fled earth to reach the stars we hear you are in need of assistance and a home i know of many places far from earth to start anew where you shall enjoy your life i had doubts as to your motive but as i have bound myself to you i feel naught but truth please if i were to reveal myself to your ship would i have permission to board your craft and speak with you face to face you may simply think to give me a reply may oryhara watch over you admiral jansed>
Aylarel paused, awaiting his reply.
The Hope
"Hello Mr. Glass. I'm Colonel Rainer. I guess I'm the ships deck officer since Lieutenant Commander Fre died. Thanks for the aid. We really need it."
The Osiris
"Thank you Fera. Good to meet you." Rel said following his host.
<You have permission. Thank you.>
"What was that Admaral?"
"What was what?"
"You said something about permission?"
"No I didn't."
"Huh."

Hope
"Yes that if fine sir. Follow me."
The Colonel took the Flightopians out of the hanger and through the hall until reaching the lift. Rainer punched the B button and soon they were on the bridge.
The Admiral sat in his center chair staring ahead. He turned around.
"Welcome Mr. Glass, CWO McMunnis. I'm Admiral Jansed. I'd like to personally thank you for your help in our time of need. Now, may I see the specs?"
The Osiris
You'd think teleportation would vary a lot, but it always feels the same. Rel thought. He looked at the meeting room and then Fera.
"Here." Rel said. He reached out his palm. Inside was a small crystal.
"It was a gift from my wife, before she died. As long as I've carried it, I've survived everything Victory Land's thrown at me. I know it’s not much, but please accept it as a thank you for your hospitality."
In a nearby system the Monsoon Class Intelligence Cruiser Horn of Truth picked up the message and had been monitoring the events.
The captain walked up to one of the oberver's stations, light reflecting off his black armor of a Shofar Intelligence agent was the only thing that made him easily visible in the dark room. "Status?"
The observer showed the captain several of the transmissions he had picked up since this all started. "Refugees from earth, Sir. The are escaping a war that has destroyed their homeland. Their numbers are few, they are in need of aid and likely suffering from radiation poisoning."
The captain read over the messages. "Very well, pass this along to Fleet Comm, let them decide what to do about this." He started walking away. "And keep monitoring the situation agent."
"Yes, Sir."
---------------------------------------------------------------
The Tidani taskforce exited their jump just outside the growing group of ships in the area. The Hospital Carrier Conviction arrived with its escort, two Defiance Class Heavy Cruisers and 10 Flare Class Frigates. The Hospital Carrier was unarmed and too valuable to risk unprotected in a meeting with many unknown races.
A message was transmitted on the usual human frequencies.
Greetings Iranqin Fleet. This is the Tidani Hospital Carrier Conviction. We have heard of your plight and need. We have facilities available to treat your wounded as well as inoculate your people against radiation poisoning if needed. Our bays and medical shuttles are standing by to receive wounded.

Glass then opend the case and typed a few commands on keyboard inside. A holographic projection then appeared of lush green planet that looked to be half ocean.
"The 6th moon of Judas, our home planet, and capital of the Flightopian Republic. We treaformed all the moons of all the planets incase we needed more space, but so far we have not. This moon is about 30% bigger then then moon of earth. It is mostly a tmperate climate with a few rainforests and hight mountain ranges. It has not been setteled one bit. Free for your colinization to colonize. Now, we will provide you as an ally, 4 orbital defence platforms, and one orbital shipyard/coloy ship. We will also upgrade your ships with sensros, FTL drives, power sources, ect. We will also protect you. All we ask in return is that you do not become an empire or dictatorship. Those govenments we do not stand for. Now, what are your current FTL capabilities? If you can't make the 780ly jump we can bring in one of our defence platforms that can carry all your ships. (These platforms are HUGE.) So, Admiral, what do you think?"
To Conviction:
Hello allies, we hope all is well. If you could get some food to thier fleet it would really help.
To Conviction:
Hello allies, we hope all is well. If you could get some food to thier fleet it would really help.
The captain of Conviction acknowledged the message. He then ordered the medical shuttles to load up with food and begin transporting it to the exile fleet on behalf of Flightopia and Tidan. On the return flight the shuttles were ordered to carry back wounded, assuming each ship accepted their help. This was also dependent on the exile leadership not refuse their assistance as well, but with the state of their fleet the captain didn't think that was likely.

The Abh Empire had now taken to patrolling open space for any signs of threats. Their recent wars had given them the incentive to take military forces out wide and hunt down hostiles.
A repeating message was being tracked by one particular fleet lead by Admiral Abriel Nei Ramaral Gaf'ton of the Skeel Royal Family had come out of retirement during these times and returned to active duty. Star Forces command had thrown him into these particular missions given his back ground.
"Your highness, we are picking up a transmission. It seems that there are refugees in trouble. What are your orders?"
The man sat there in his chair with blue hair that went down past his ears but his elf like ears still stuck out. "For now I want the Omega-X Destroyers to keep up their run but relocate them so they parallel the refugees. We will make a formal entrance."
"Yes sir."
The Victory Destroyer opened a large Jump Point some kilometers up ahead of the progressing and ever growing fleet. (http://www.b5tech.com/isa/excalibur/excaliburglory.jpg) The ship glided out front and awaited for them to finally catch up.

As though it had moved from behind a dense cloudbank, the figure of the Dragon came into view. It's smooth, colorful keel depicting a dancing display of biolights, vein-like apparatuses, and the pronounced purple "eye" of all Polaris vessels.
The 50 meter Nik'Kolyosh, as though a manta in the deep sea, gracefully soared over to the Hope. It quickly halted its movement about 40 meters away from the edge of the vessel, the blue "veins" along its wings beginning to glow with a fierce light. As they radiated their energy, the ship began to move slowly towards the hull. They were obviously some form of internal engines: though how they were maintaining their propulsion with no vented material remained a mystery.
A thick, wrinkly ovipositor-like tube extended from the starboard side of the hull, connecting with the side of the ship. There was a sharp cackling sound, as the hull betwixt the Nik'Kolyosh and the Hope sputtered and shuddered suddenly. Then, quickly, it dissipated...though the hull did not seem to be damaged. Indeed, it merely looked like a hole had been built into the hull of the ship: so smooth and clean was the cut.
Then, the end of the tube on the Nik'Kolyosh opened with a slithering noise.
Aylarel stepped out onto the cold, smooth surface of the walkway. His purple eyes darted around the pathway as he briskly strode towards the ship. He had already dawned diplomatic robes: beautiful things of silver, purple, green, blue, brown, black, red, and a host of other colors. The trimming was bedecked with pictures of the familiar Polaris "eye" surrounded by a gigantic ring. A medallion was pinned to the hem of his clothes that depicted a circle embraced by two curved, blade-like symbols. This was the mark of a Vell-os master, not that anyone would know such things.
Aylarel did not close his eyes as he neared the edge of the walkway, reaching his weave out to touch that of the Admiral Jansed.
<hello admiral jansed i am aboard i believe you will have already known this fact by now please if you would be so kind i would enjoy an escort or some direction where i may meet you where i may give you proper thanks and greetings>
Aylarel did not know what to expect in this new place...but he was prepared for whatever awaited him.

Uh-oh... Aylarel thought to himself, nursing the back of his neck with a strong hand Probably should have asked permission first...
Aylarel turned around to where the hole was, reaching out with his weave to the billions of nannobots that swarmed over the hole. They all began to whirl and fizzle, re-constructing the side of the hull recently torn. As though it were a major building undergoing construction, the metal wove itself into a foundation, then into plates and sub-structures. In fact, the metal might have been more stable than before: the precision from Polaris nanites were particularly well-renowned.
Aylarel sent a signal to his ship.
<meet me in the second docking bay they should have given you a signal i will walk there if they try to board you get them out if they try to monitor you stop their scans if they try to study you scare them off break out only in the most dire of circumstances i will escape myself>
Aylarel barely sent the message out, when he felt a ping of a reply from his ship.
<orders:understood:orders:comply>
Aylarel nodded, and turned to walk down the corridors of the vessel. His robes billowed around his form, fixing him as an almost angelic-like creature that walked down the steel floor. Aylarel's intent was simple: walk ahead until he encountered someone, then talk to them and inquire about the second dockingbay.
OOC: Need I remind you, a complete stranger has just walked onboard with no weapons, purple eyes, and strange clothes. Whomever he encounters will not be very happy to see him.

"Pox."

It was a few moments before Fera decided to speak, first to Menar “Kal shek nu de kar nel tua bek ra?” Menar answered “mek bar shin alk hat kar nor vesh.” This answer was all Fera needed. Turning to Rel, Fera informed Rel of what Fera himself could offer. “We can offer you a few things at this moment, one we can have a few of our solders in Kull armor go into the Pox infested zone, that is I am assuming you may have people in the pox infested zone you wish removed. We can also offer you the use of the Asgard transporters on the Warship Loki it is of Asgard design and has much more advanced transporters then the Osiris as such it can transport your people almost instantly to any other ships in this area, it would only take a short amount of time to reach here. And any dead or dieing may be placed in a Goa’uld Sarcophagus for revival and last we can deploy replicators to “eat” the ship or ships infested with Pox they will then return the metals back to you, at the price of a small percent of the ships mass to become replicators

Okay, I have a feeling I'm not going in the right direction. Aylarel thought, shaking his head a bit as he wielded around the corridor. Then, he suddenly grew still and tense. Like a statue he was, his breathing slow and shallow, his eyes fixed to a point some three meters ahead of him.
There rested a single body, face-down in the corridor.
What...what is this? Aylarel thought, casting his weave out into his bloodstream. Already he heard the news, which caused him fear and dread.
I've been...infected?! How...terrible. Aylarel was not mortified by the prospect, but simply upset by the ordeal. He knew his nanobots, the very essence of his long-life, would easily stop the invaders. Aylarel's more immediate concern was that of the people onboard.
Dashing towards the man, Aylarel began to gaze at the body with his weave: casting great strokes over the deceased-looking man.
This is not good. Aylarel thought, sensing infection raging through the person's body. I will see what I can do.
Aylarel reached into a deep pocket within his robes, and pulled out a pouch that seemed to be made of metal, veins, and a purple/green material (similar to his ship). Aylarel placed it tightly on the man's body, pressing his own hand against the top of the device.
Aylarel felt the prick of the needle and the spray of coagulant on the wound. He knew what was happening. Nannites were being introduced into this new bloodstream, after being re-calibrated to deal with this human's immune system, blood type, and other factors. It would take a half a minute at most, but if it were successful Aylarel might have a chance of bringing the man back to perfect health.
Aylarel watched the device closely, wondering what fate could have befallen such a ship.
OOC: If this is godmoddy, then just tell me.
OOC: I'm assuming Hope is your command/flagship. If I'm wrong it shouldn't be a problem really. Just more for my own mental orientation.
IC: Captain Rjek entered the bridge of Conviction and took sat in his chair. He turned to a blue armored sergeant on his right. "Alright put him through."
The holopad next to his chair flickered to life and the tiny figure of a red armored Tidani Major appeared. "Major Orak, go ahead."
The Major saluted and began, "Sir, we have a medical emergency. It seems a bioweapon, called pox, has been released on board one of the ships. We are helping to quarantine the area but it appears to be spreading. Fortunately the virus is a human one, at least for now Tidani are immune. Its affect on the crew is pretty devestating though, if it can't be contained and neutralized they will lose the whole ship. They tell me they don't have a cure for the disease either. We need more teams to help continue basic medical relief while we deal with this problem." Orak turned for a few seconds then looked back. "Oh, and we need a portable lab brought to the Hope if we are going to have any chance of creating a vaccine... I need to get back Sir."
Rjek was a little disturbed by the news. "You'll have your teams and equipment Major. I'll make sure it's on the next shuttle."
"Thank you, Sir. Orak Out." The figure saluted again and the hologram dispersed.
OOC: Since this weapon is based on smallpox which has no animal strains, I'm going with the assumption that it wouldn't affect alien species either. Feel free to use any of my medical teams to help get the outbreak under control. No need to put more of your men in harms way when Tidani or another species can do the job without any risk right. ;)

The XO's radio crackeled then, "Sir, you need to get the hell of there. There has been an outbrak of smallpox, we do have the vaccine, but it is on our ship."
"I know, how much space do we have in our bays," in inquired.
"Enought for the crew if that is what you aqre asking."
"Ok, I''l make the offer, get the pelicans fired up"
He turned, "Admarial, if you wish we can evac you ship to ours. ONLY if you want that is, also, we suggest you jump to the station that is now over the moon, the ships of the other races can follow, if they do not show hostile intent that it. It is alright?"
OOC:
Pox shouldn't affect aliens, as it was only engineered with humans in mind. However, if it runs into any human (even one with advanced medical tech) it probably will kill them, unless they have encountered a similar variation of smallpox and have found a vaccine.

"Commander, shouldn't we ask the Admiral for permission first?" Dr. Granson asked.
"I'm not wasting time for politeness doc."
"Fine. Fera, may I download all the info about Pox from my lab to this ship?"
Hope
"Ahh!" General Teril screamed.
The fleets first officer had been on deck five when the Pox was deployed. He had seen the strange alien (Or maybe it was just a hallucination; Pox had been known to cause that) inject something into him. Teril then went light headed.
He saw Mount Cali, where he as a young lieutenant straight out of the Academy had gone with his buddies, right before they were all called up into service. He saw Jome, Holiu, Grav... even though they were all probably dead.
Have I joined them? Teril asked.
In reality, he hadn't. He was still on deck five of the Hope. The Pox had stopped spreading.
However, Teril was far from healed. His body was decayed, and his mind separate from reality...
Deck Six
"Nurse, have the Tidani teams start to treat the infected."
"Aye Doctor Lessa."
The Pox had broken into deck six. The quarantined measures had slowed it, but now were failing. Deck four was a disaster, and it was only a matter of time before deck one was infected, and with it the bridge crew.
Lets hope those Tidani teams are the Admiral hopes they are. Lessa thought.

Flightopia,
Thanks for your offer. However, I can't any member of my crew spreading the pox. If I evacuated the whole crew it’s to likely at least one person will have Pox and spread it much more quickly.
We can jump, but we should not board the station. Even the uninfected areas can be infected by the time we unload.
Thank you for the offer,

“Yes, down load the data.” With that Fera pulled a communication device out of his pocket and spoke “kun on shek re mal cur dec Kull ak var nal” then he turned back to the Iranqins, “I have sent a Tel’tac transport over to your ship, it will be carrying several Kull warriors, I must worn you Kull warriors are very dangerous if attacked, their armor is capable of going threw most shields as well as taking most energy and Kinetic weapons. So please worn you people to stay out of their way and if you wish to send new orders to them ask me to relay the message. Now I mast ask again if you would like the Warship Loki to accompany us it is more powerful then the Osiris in almost every way, it can come as an escort only if you like?”
OOC: Kull armor is based on armor from a TV show I like very much, the armor in the show was able to walk threw an energy shield, take heavy fire from M249 machine gun like weapons as well as several energy weapon blast, walked threw some clamor mine and C4 explosions…without so much as a scratch, though I don’t RP my armor as being quite as good as that

It was not long that Glass, McMunnis, and that pelicans returned to the Shadow Diver. The XO strode onto the bridge and the captain turned to face him, “Xo report.”
“Sir, that was a vi-“
“I know what happened on that ship.”
“Yes sir, well he will jump his fleet, but they will not dock with the station so the pox is not spread.”
“Alright….ensign! Send their fleet the jump coordinates, tell him that he can give those coordinates to who ever he trusts, also, if there are uninfected ships we request they dock at the station to separate those who have contracted the illness.”
“Yes, sir!”
To: Hope
From: Shadow Diver
Enclosed in this transmission are the jump coordinates. We hope you will join us at the moon, Gaterra in a few moments. You can give those coordinates to whoever you trust, also, if there are uninfected ships we request they dock at the station to separate those who have contracted the illness. If you wish.
Good luck, and god speed. We'll see you at home.
And with that the Diver vanshed in a twisting spire of white starlight.

Deck 4
Major Orak was running around deck 4 shouting at the tidani teams working to contain the virus. "I want those decon fields up against the doors yesterday! All humans are on lock down, I don't want to see a single human leaving or entering this deck do you hear me, males? Not one!" Another team was heading through the decon fields to search for more infected crewmen. "Hey, medical bay has been set up on deck five. Check for life signs, Take the strongest first." He activated his comm. "Sergeant. Progress."
The Sergeant in charge of the lab on deck six answered. "We are all set up now. We received the smallpox cure from Flightopia but it isn't effecting the mutated strain. We think we will be able to use it as a starting point though."
"Send the data back to Conviction's AI and get it started on it. Orak out." Orak turned and shouted. "Get decon fields over those air vents, we don't know how it's spreading yet! Am I the only one fighting a virus here?"
He turned on the comm. again. "Admiral, this is Major Orak from Conviction. My teams are sealing off decks 4, 5, and 6 but it is still spreading. We're working on a vaccine but it is unclear how long it could take. I suggest keeping at least two decks, if possible, clear between the infected ones. I'd also like to suggest, that once we get it contained, we tranfer all infected crewmen to Conviction where we have much better equipment than we can bring here. Or if things don't slow down we could evacuate the whole crew and treat everyone. It's your choice."

<it is time to come back>
Cool, metal floors of black. No walls, no doors, no windows. Simply shadow stretched to infinity in all directions - save the ground. No light save a single shaft of brightness cascading down onto a single being.
It looked like Aylarel, though he had slightly more baby-fat on his face. His hair was slightly longer with more frayed edges and his chin was rounder. It was, after all, Aylarel's immage of himself (and those images are always a few years younger than what the current person looks like). His purple eyes, flashing with a powerful light, seemed to pierce through the body of the other man in this room: as though Aylarel knew everything about him.
<it is time to come back> repeated the voice that echoed through the chazam.
<you must come back Teril you must follow my voice follow my figure your mind has been broken by an infection of indeterminate origin>
At this point, the figure of Aylarel spoke.
"You have survived this plague by my hand. Already, your bloodstream is flowing with the nanites that rule over my own. The little protein saviors have re-callibrated themselves for your body, and upon completion of their task they will cease to function and filter out of your blood like any waste. Yet, your mind is broken from infection. Follow me, Admiral, and live again. You have been saved. Do not die in another way. Follow me. FOLLOW ME."
With that, Aylarel held out a single hand. The back of his head was surrounded by a glowing white aura, of which a black-line smile and kind purple eyes could be seen glowing.
+-+-+-+
Aylarel held the body of the Admiral close in his arms as he walked through the coordiors of Deck 5. His mind still had its weave connected with the Admiral's. Everything that the Admiral saw was playing out in his head.
His body is weak. As is his mind. Aylarel thought, passing a group of corpses around a bend. Damn. I can't save those. There's nothing left of them.
Fortunately, Aylarel took comfort in his nanite's abilities. They had read the subject's DNA, and from the blueprint that exists in all of us they had begun to re-structure and heal the man's body. Of anything, they would make it better than before. Diseases that had done damage previously would be healed, cancer would be destroyed, blood problems, scars, and any other physical deformaty that was not apart of the Admiral's original DNA would be eradicated.
As Aylarel rounded another corner, he heard something. The clashing sound of armor and steel, followed by another man's voice. Aylarel paused, quickly rushing around the corner. He saw two men standing down the hall. One was tall, huge, and striking looking. His black armor was jagged and angled; two glowing fires for eyes cast their gaze down on Aylarel. The other wore armor of a different sort: blue and smooth. It seemed much more organic looking, but Aylarel could still tell the familiar glimpses of a ceramic or metal framework.
Aylarel sent out his weave towards the two, pausing when he did so. The larger creature was...well...quite stupid. The other was smart enough to talk to.
<hello i assume you are apart of the crew of this ship i have aided this man and he will be fine so long as he listens to the voices in his head please is there any way i may help you and your crew>
Aylarel paused for a moment as he sent the message to the blue-armored individual (OOC: I assume your armor is blue since, well, Elite's armor is blue), pensively regarding how odd he must look. No armor. No gas mask. No protection what-so-ever save for a thin robe and a broach showing his rank among the Vell-os.
Aylarel chuckled inwardly as he awaited a response.

Aylarel laughed a bit at the Major's question, shaking his head and closing his purple eyes.
"Of course I am human," Aylarel said, suddenly growing somber as he looked at the screaming figure of the general trashed in his arms. "But, more of that later, hold on a moment!"
+-+-+<*DIVE*>+-+-+
The figure of the general began to plumit further and further down the black hill of subconciousness. The summet, filled with light, turned into nothing more than a pinprick as the air around him began to press in like a pillow pressed to his face.
Then, it came.
A rushing, white light: more bright and stunning than a sun - but not impossible to look at.
The figure, bathed in light, of Aylarel, rose steadily upwards with the General in his arms. Six glorious golden wings cascaded from his body, his purple eyes bathing both figures with a soft, violet light.
<you will be fine for i am here as are all the vell-os whom you feel around you>
Indeed, around Aylarel were the figures and forms of thousands of Vell-os: all bathed in the same white light. They all darted into the air with dazzling wings: all with the same comforting expression on their faces.
+-+-+-+
Aylarel could still talk, though the effort of re-hashing the General's mind was a difficult task. Even with his nanites roving through his body and brain, Aylarel had to use his own psionic powers to administer most of the healing.
"T-to answer your other questions...I...I am free of infect...infection..." Aylarel struggled, closing his eyes now as he did so, "...I felt it...it...it enter my body and...was...w...wa...was able to fight it off...and...g...get it out of my system..."
Aylarel motioned behind him, gasping, "There must be...a...a...a few...dozen bodies back there...most were long-dead when...whe...wheni...when I found them."
Orak tried to understand what the man was telling him, but he did not follow. Clearly he was stress or pain or something. Orak knew nothing about him, but that really didn't matter. Then when Aylarel told him of the dead men further down the gravity of the situation rushed back to his consciousness. He activated the comm. and uttered a series of shrill tones in his native tongue. Eight Tidani rushed down the hallway. He looked at them man struggling under some burden, "I'm sorry, I've got to get back to work. Our medics may be able to help you. Please go with these males." As the team approached, Orak called out to them. "Two of you get these men to the infirmary, the rest of you follow me." Then Orak took off just ahead of the team down the hallway. He didn't have time to worry about whether the man was actually injured or infected or just tired. Besides, He thought, He'll be better off talking to the medics than me right now.
-------------------------------------------------
Deck Six
Sergeant Naulis was the Tidani incharge of the infirmary. He was busy checking the initial patient reports trying to determine if any of the anti-viral measures were working when the two Tidani brought in Aylarel and the General.
Naulis jumped up, calling over several nurses the took the General and laid him down. Aylarel looked much better and was quite conscious. Naulis let the others make the General comfortable and hook him up to the monitors. He sat Aylarel down and gave him a glass of water while he checked his condition. Though it was quite puzzling as to why this man was not dying, it was plainly obvious he was not suffering from pox. Naulis didn't waste time wondering, he simply accepted the situation. "What do you need?"
Aylarel was pouring sweat, his purple eyes tired and thick with shadow. He whipped his brow, hoping his treatment had been enough. The Psionic program was now in effect, and only time would tell what the outcome would be.
"What do I need?" Aylarel said slowly, cracking his neck and stretching out his arms before jumping to his feet, "I'll need the best microscopes you have, a proper disease culture facility, and the best way to contact the one who is in charge here. We need to stop this thing from spreading. Already, I have been able to understand a littlebit about how it attacks the body, but I have no real knowledge of this thing beyond that."
He paused for a moment, realizing how odd this must sound, then he extended his arm.
"Here," Aylarel said, pulling back his robe and grasping his arm tightly so the veins became clear, "draw some blood and perform x-rays if you wish, then you will understand what I mean."
If they were to draw his blood, they would find quite a spectacle. Billions of small, protein chains that moved about his bloodstream. They were not normal proteins: for the normal amino-acid sequence was disrupted by a few metalic molecules arranged in bizzare, compilcated patterns. They were neural-nets designed to ressonate with Aylarel's psionic thoughts. In essence, they were bound to his every whim and idea: but they monitored his body for now.
If they perfomed an x-ray, there would be evidence of an extra organ within Aylarel's body right above his pancreatic gland. Inside would be a completely natural organ that manufactured these nannites that flowed through Aylarel's body. In fact, his very DNA was now encoded to produce these creatures.
So, Aylarel was determined to help out in this cause. He had limited knowledge of medical science, but he was a powerful enough tellepath to link with the Vell-os people. One who was working with the P'aedt could easily help him in his time of woe.

IC:
The Victory Destroyer that was overseeing the situation noticed the ship from SeaQuest come into view.
"Your highness we have a contact coming into our space. SeaQuest exploration class sir."
"Open a communication to the ship."
An image of the Abriel was sent to the Watcher with his long elf like ears.
This is Admiral Abriel Nei Ramaral Par Yunyu Gaf'ton of the Skeel Royal family. We have been monitoring the situation as well and must inform you that it appears that a virus has broken out on board their main ship. From what we heard, it seems to be a virus of the small pox strain. We are moving our ships to encircle them as we speak.
All around the combined fleet, shadows began to shimmer as the Omega-X Destroyers materialized with their hyperspace tap. The black ships took up positions all along the fleet.

OOC: Hey SeaQuest, Iranq made it open and he hasn't stopped anyone from joining yet.

Naulis nodded and moved Aylarel over to a bed, the surface was hard and glowed. "That won't be necessary." He motioned for him to get up on the bed and then positioned on it. "Remain still for a moment." The machine emitted a bright light for several minutes then it stopped. "Alright, that's it." Naulis turned to a machine beside the scanner and where data was being analyzed by the Medical Artificial Intelligence (PMAI). Satisfied that the scan had been successful he turned back to Aylarel. "Over there on the wall," he pointed to a panel near the door. "That is an internal communications consol. You can contact the bridge while MAI analyses your physiology."
Aylarel nodded, jumping off of the bed quickly. As he walked over to the pannel, he cast a physical weave out towards it. The buttons and mointors began to shift by themselves, as though some bizzare computer virus had activated all of the functions at once. However, it was not a computer virus but Vell-os masterful enough in the arts of the weave to manipulate solid objects.
Aylarel sent the following message to the bridge:
Hello? Hello? To whom am I speaking too?
The Hope
"Decks 3-7 are over run with Pox sir."
The Admiral stiffened. The Hope had 16 decks. The Pox's spread wasn’t as fast as he feared, but at its current rate the ship would be covered in 15 hours. And the bridge on deck one would be contaminated in 3 hours...
"Admiral, Doctor Granson is hailing."
"On speakers."
"Admiral, I believe I have an idea to contain the Pox."
"Go on."
"I've been studying the readings our allies have been getting. I think it's possible to take out what makes Pox contagious."
"How?"
"We'll need to put people on the decks most recently affected. If they can put some of our probes there, it should stop the spread."
"I'll ask the other species to do it since their not at risk. Anything else?"
"Actually, if it doesn’t work they will be at risk. The Pox could mutate further, possibly adapting to them."
"I see. Anything else?"
"It won't save those already infected."
"Oh... Very well. Get your data together."
"Granson out."
"Ensign, send out a hail to all the species. Mention that their is risk in this."
"Aye sir."

Fera stood up when he asked "we could transport anyone not infected onto this ship now that the Loki is here. we can also slowly revive members with our Sarcophagus. though it does have some temparary side afects and could take hours each for person. this is only if you like. you may contact me with this." with that Fera held out a Goa'uld Communicashon device. "i must go and inform the Loki of what is happening
OOC: sorry for any bad spelling im in a hurry
"I'm received approval from the Admiral to allow you to evacuate decks 2 and 9 and up. The bridge crew has decided to remain behind." Rel told Fera. "Thank you for your generous offer."
OOC: I'm not exactly sure what you want the aliens to do. Sorry. Maybe you could TG me and the others with what you need us to do?
OOC:
I request any willing aliens set up and activate some devices on decks 8 and 2. If they work they should stop the pox's spread. There is a chance that it will cause the Pox to mutate and harm non-humans.

As soon as Fera got Rel’s answer he hailed the Loki. “Commander halmar you may begin transport of decks 2 and 9 and up in one minute, the bridge crew requests that it be left on board the ship.” With that he ended his message and contacted Rel. “you may inform your admiral that I will begin transport in less then a minute.”
One minute later with a sweep of two beams the Loki transported the non-infected crew aboard the Osiris.
The Hope
The ship no longer lived up to its name.
Dr. Granson's plan was a failure: the Pox had spread. At the last second the bridge crew ejected the dying ship.
The Hope lay dead in space. The Iranqin fleet was without its flag ship. The Admiral decided to order a jump to Judas, the moon Flightopia offered.
Victory Land
"They've jumped! Now is our chance!"
"Very well. Attention all members of the stealth fleet: follow the Iranqin ships and eliminate them. Do not fire on any one else unless fired upon."
The Victory Land ships received the message.

The Victory Land Carrier Nelson
"Captain Cluds to home." The commanding officer of the ship said as he sent his signal back to Earth.
"Go ahead." General Wellsly replied in Victory City.
"Sir, the enemy is to near the defensive platforms to attack. Shall I order our operatives to release the Pox on each ship?"
"Negative. Stay hidden. We'll contact you when we have a new plan."
"Sir," the Cluds asked, "how much time do we have?"
"Not much. We'll give you new orders soon."
Iranqin Frigate Crescent’s Bluff
The ship began to dock with the station. Admiral Jansed watched from his quarters on board the small, cramped vessel.
Jansed hadn't been the same since he escaped Hope. No one really had been, but he was taking it harder. That ship had been his home for the last five years. He had worked on it instead of fighting Victory Land like every one else. He had prepared the ship to last forever, not die in a week. Jansed shamefully admitted he felt more sorrow as his shuttle left his dying ship then when that same ship had left Earth. Perhaps only Doctor Granson understood, and after she failed to stop the Pox, the Admiral didn't feel like speaking to her.
"I should be on the bridge." Jansed said to himself. Well you aren't. So there. his subconscious told him. Better Rel be in command. He only has a death wish...
Death wish or not, Rel was in command. The fleets first officer General Tiril was missing, probably dead. Now Commander Rel was supervising all the ships docking from The Osiris.
Jansed tooked out into space, imagining he could see that ship.
"I should be in command. For God's sake, I should be in command..."

"Rel, i am aware you may have more spies in your fleet. i offer you the use of a Zea'tarc detector. it will be a slow proces but we could find any and all spies inside your fleet, however the Zea'tarc detector will pick up on any for of a lie. in other words people will have to be able to recal events exactly in order to pass the test. so what do you say?"
Transmission to Iranq Fleet, Mockingbird Station, and Loki:
We off our MC90 Cruiser TRS Star Pearl to conduct the screening of the Iranq crews to provide a safe place should any more spys be detected and another outbreak occurs. We would hate for the plague to break out on a human ship or station. We could conduct screenings on small isolated groups so that infection is minimized in a worst case scenario. "Sir, I have our spies on the comm. They are ready to detonate the Pox."
"No." the Commander said.
"Sir?"
"We need to show the Iranqin allies we are better warriors. That way we'll have their respect."
"We'll have their hatred." Colonel Jenson said. He was the only man alive who could openly question the commander.
"True. But detonating Pox will make things worse. Victory Land won't be taken seriously until we show we can win through more... chivalry means. Get the fleet in position. Launch fighters."
Iranqin Light Cruiser Trust
"Launch fighters!"
Colonel Rainer formally of the Hope had little doubt the other four light cruisers were giving that same order. All 5 carried 25 fighters each. The Victory Landers already had 75 in space with more coming by the second.
"Colonel Rainer, put us between the Angeletti and the Crack of Dawn." Commander Tela told her new first officer.
"Aye sir." Rainer said, giving the order to comm.
"Sir, we've got a reading on the enemy fleet." Major Glase reported.
"Lets hear it." Tela told him.
"12 Heavy Cruisers, 7 Lights, 2 Hospital Ships, 10 Frigates, 240 fighters."
"Not the best odds but we'll make do." Tela said. "Prepare front cannons."

"I see 'em!" Lt. Jewquo said from his fighter. The enemy was closing fast.
Suddenly cannon fire opened up. Jewquo gripped the fighter’s guidance stick, bringing the fighter up, missing the barrage.
"Idiots! Can't they see were on their side?!" Jewquo yelled.
"Calm down." The flight leader told him and by extension all the pilots. "Their a little jumpy. Just concentrate... Here they come!"
The enemy fighters zoomed past Jewquo's one. The cannons opened up again, this time hitting a few enemies.
"Wahoo!" a pilot yelled. "First blood!"
"Don't get cocky." Another said. They’re coming around!"
The enemy opened its own fire. The Iranqins mostly maneuvered out of the way. A few were hit, exploding.
Jewquo looped his fighter around. The sudden adrenaline burst distracted him from his fear. The battle was joined.
The two Tidani MC90 Cruisers moved into a possition between the new fleet and the Hospital Carrier. Their shields and hulls obscuring any firing solution on the carrier, but they did not engage. Then the 10 Flare Frigates moved into a defensive formation around the Cruisers. Their pulse laser beams ready to intercept any projectile, missile, or strikecraft that got too close. Heavy Cruiser “Linchpin”
The fleet admiral was watching the battle unfold from the Heavy Cruiser “Linchpin”
“Bring the fleet into wall formation and put us between the Iranq fleet, vector the S.S.F.s (Space Superiority Fighter) towards the enemy fighters. Try and take out the larger ships first, the S.S.F-Bs (Bombers, slower then a normal fighter but carry more nukes and 2 extra particle lances) can deal with the escorts,” he ordered.
“Yes sir!”
Each ship spun and jumped around until they were a standard wall formation, as they turned to broadside the enemy fleet flights of SSFs streamed around them like black wasps.
Space
The leader of the 23rd SSF Wing, Col. William Lenstrom, could visualize all the 200 pilots under his command, checking his or her hysradar, talking to thier R.I. or just thinking as they saw the battle approach them.
He key his mic on the guard channel, "Men, ladies, we are here today to prevent the extermination of civilization,” he spoke soulfully, “It is a heavy burden on your shoulders but I know you can lift it. Watch your intervels, watch your ammo, and for god's sake no friendly fire... Now punch it up to zone five and lets kick some ass!”
Every fighter did a roll in aggrement (like the army's warcry) and then jets of plasma shot out the back of thier fighters as they went to max power. The sleek, black darts streeking towards the lights of the ensuing battle. They neared the max range for their nukes, once in range and with solid locks they flipped their safety catches off and squeezed thier triggers. Streaks of light rocketed away in numbers too great to count. Then the pilots broke off into two man flights to move into particle lance and rail gun range. These fuckers were going down.
